Jie Fu Lian quickly managed to push Hua Tianshu aside when he saw the demon’s foot coming to crush him. Before he could defend himself, he was already crushed under the immense weight of the demon.

"Young Master!" Duan Luoyang shouted in horror, his eyes looking as if they were ready to pop out of their sockets.

Jin Shifeng gasped and immediately covered her mouth, unable to believe what had just happened.

"Master...?" Mo Xue muttered out, his body immediately stiffening from the shock and fear of having the past repeat itself.

Hua Tianshu, who had been pushed aside and saved at the very last moment, could not even say anything as he looked at the demon’s foot that had crushed Jie Fu Lian under its weight.

The demon laughed as if it had gone insane and lifted its foot only to once again stomp on Jie Fu Lian’s body.

Everyone was horrified and shocked at the sight, unable to accept what they were witnessing.

"Shen Fang, tell me how it feels to be crushed by me!" The demon laughed as he lifted his feet and looked down with a wide grin, "Tell me how- Huh...?"

The demon tilted its head in confusion, unable to understand what he was seeing.

On the ground, instead of the bloodied body of Jie Fu Lian, lay shattered pieces of stone.

As soon as Hua Tianshu saw the shattered stone, he sighed in relief, feeling as if he could finally breathe again after being suffocated.

"It doesn’t matter what you are," Jie Fu Lian spoke, appearing to be standing on top of the demon’s head, "One of the great four demon lords? You have to be kidding me if you thought this thing could beat me."

It seemed as if Jie Fu Lian was talking to Jin Long who was already not around to hear his words.

"Is this the best you could do after sacrificing your life?" Jie Fu Lian laughed mockingly as he jumped, avoiding the demon’s hand that came to hit him, "I thought you valued your life more than this, Jin Long..."

The aura around Jie Fu Lian had drastically changed. His eyes were bright red and with a wicked smirk on his face, it was no secret that he had already embraced his demonic side and was now fighting this demon as the powerful and cruel demon king whose body he was using.

Gritting his teeth, Jie Fu Lian used Changbo to cut down one of the demon’s horns.

"You even killed me to save yourself and in the end, this was how you decided to end things? How pathetic!" Jie Fu Lian cut the other horn as well, looking to be extremely angry.

With his words alone, it could be guessed that the cause of his anger was Jin Long’s careless action. He was angry because of how Jin Long had sacrificed himself without ever paying for the sins he committed.

He was angry because the one he wanted to kill was Jin Long but the one he was forced to fight was this uninvited demon.

The demon wasn’t an idiot and after having both his horns cut, he felt as if he had been wronged. He just came when he was summoned and now, he was being forced to fight against the man who had already killed him once.

Jie Fu Lian cut off the demon’s left arm and got ready to cut the demon’s right arm as well. However, the demon angrily kicked him off and this time, it was the real Jie Fu Lian and not one of the puppets.

Growing its left arm back with ease, the demon roared in anger, "Shen Fang, being killed by you once was enough!"

Jie Fu Lian tried to stand up but the soil under him grabbed his hands and legs, pinning him down to the ground.

The two horns of the demon did not grow back but its arm surely returned to its normal state.

"This time, I’ll be the one to kill you!"

The demon once again lifted its feet to stomp on Jie Fu Lian and crush him to death, however, this time, Ren Lei stepped up and stopped the demon by making a protective barrier that covered both her and Jie Fu Lian.

Thinking that the barrier would not be able to stop him, the demon used even more force to crush the two people.

When a small crack appeared in the barrier, Jin Shifeng frowned as she joined Ren Lei and strengthened the barrier.

With Ren Lei and Jin Shifeng joining hands to create and maintain a protective barrier, it became impossible for the demon to break it without using unfair means.

In the end, the demon grabbed Yu Wei and threatened to crush her under his fist as he glared at the two girls and ordered them to step aside.

Yu Wei closed her eyes and gently shook her head, signaling for Jin Shifeng not to listen to the demon. Angered by this, the demon tightened its hold around Yu Wei, fully intending to crush her like a little cherry.

"Mr. Demon, you are really bad at making decisions," Yu Wei spoke with a small sigh, almost mocking the demon in the most calm way possible.

The demon frowned and threw Yu Wei up into the air before using both his hands to clap with her stuck in between. He intended to kill her like a little fly but before his hands could meet, his arms were cut off and fell to the ground.

With a confused and infuriated expression, the demon quickly turned to look at the person who had cut off his arm.

Mo Xue winked back at the demon with a flirty smile that did not seem to fit the scene.

Yu Wei took out a mask and wore it on her face as she spoke, "I’m sorry for having to say this but you aren’t going to win today."

The demon’s arm quickly grew back and he reached out for both Yu Wei and Mo Xue.

Mo Xue immediately turned into a peacock and flew away from danger, whereas, Yu Wei’s body started growing bigger and bigger till she was atleast twice the size of the demon.

She grabbed the demon’s arm and twisted it in a complete circle before picking him up and throwing him over her shoulder like a sack of potatoes.

Shen Chao, who had been watching this scene, could not help but feel impressed when he felt the ground beneath him tremble from the sheer force of the throw.

When the demon first appeared, Shen Chao was sure that they were going to lose, but now that he could see how capable everyone was, he no longer considered the situation dangerous. In fact, he felt as if victory was to be expected and watched on with the intention of enjoying the gruesome fight.

With the impact of the throw, the demon’s body shattered into hot rocks that spread around everywhere. However, he hadn’t been killed yet. Soon enough, the rocks gathered up together and he pushed himself up as he once again stood in one piece.

Even this time, his horns remained missing, unable to regenerate. Hua Tianshu, who noticed this, took out his sword and immediately attacked the demon, knowing that its horn was probably a weak spot for the creature.

The demon quickly defended itself and avoided Hua Tianshu’s attack.

The mask from Yu Wei’s face fell off and she turned back to her original size. With sweat sticking to the sides of her face, she seemed to be having a hard time breathing.

Jin Shifeng abandoned the protective barrier and rushed over to Yu Wei’s side.

When Ren Lei saw that the demon was too distracted to aim for Jie Fu Lian, she also stopped maintaining the protective barrier.

Jie Fu Lian took a deep breath in as he looked around and mentally calculated how many puppets were unharmed and could be still used.

He had brought with him about an army of four thousand puppets, but now, that number had decreased to only two thousand puppets.

Even if the puppets attacked the demon together, Jie Fu Lian was sure that they would not be able to beat the creature. They could distract him and perhaps hurt him a bit, but that was the extent of what they could do.

Ren Lei helped Jie Fu Lian up by pulling at the soil that had pinned him to the ground.

Now that he had been freed, Jie Fu Lian gulped as he mentally ordered the puppets to move in a calculated manner.

Heeding his orders, the puppets started running around the demon in a circle and in the end, Jie Fu Lian shouted for Hua Tianshu to retreat, "TianTian, step back!"

Hua Tianshu instinctually listened to the man and moved back.

Jie Fu Lian reached out for something and immediately pulled it. Nobody understood what the man was doing but in the very next moment, they saw the demon falling down, having been cut into small pieces of lava rocks that fell to the ground.
