"She’s not dead yet," Yu Wei sighed as she spoke, "But she is slowly dying. If she does not wake up, then she’ll turn into a puppet forever."

When Jie Fu Lian heard this, he frowned in confusion, not understanding what the woman was saying.

Feeling confused and a little worried, Jie Fu Lian called Changbo back and held tightly onto the sword as he carefully looked at Jin Long who seemed to be slowly changing.

"What the hell is happening...?" Shen Chao questioned with a frown, his eyes slowly widening in shock as he tried to make sense of the situation, "Why is that thing with him...?"

Duan Luoyang, who heard this, could not understand what Shen Chao was talking about so he tilted his head in confusion as he innocently asked, "What do you mean?"

"Look at his chest," Shen Chao spoke as he pointed out and asked, "Do you not see it?"

Duan Luoyang looked at Jin Long’s chest but failed to notice anything out of the ordinary and simply shook his head as he replied, "I don’t understand. What are you talking about?"

"The symbol," Shen Chao spoke in disbelief, "It’s a demon-summoning array..."

When Duan Luoyang heard this, he immediately remembered the Xu Clan’s murder case which was the first time he and Hua Tianshu met the demon king. At that time, the Demon king’s body had already been possessed by Jie Fu Lian’s soul and he joined forces with Hua Tianshu in order to reverse the summoning array and stop a demon from being fully summoned.

At that time, Duan Luoyang had seen the arrays on the walls of the stone cave and guessed that they were trapped inside a demon summoning ground. Hua Meifang immediately passed out and Yu Wei caught her from falling before gently putting her down on the ground and sighing in relief.

This was clear proof that the one standing in front of them was no longer Jin Long.

A claw emerged out of Jin Long’s stomach, stretching and tearing his body apart as it struggled to come out.
