The Demon King is an Idiot [BL]-Chapter 67: A moment of ecstasy
During the start of the third week, Jie Fu Lian started to lock himself up in his room even more. At night, there would be odd sounds of scratching, beating, and heart-chilling screams coming from his room.
Hua Tianshu would quietly stand in front of the door and knock, but Jie Fu Lian didn’t dare open the door.
Jie Fu Lian was in pain and Hua Tianshu understood that.
One day, the strong stench of blood started wafting out of the room and Hua Tianshu immediately got a bit scared. Instead of knocking, he broke the door open and entered to find a Jie Fu Lian who had stabbed himself with his own hands.
"Jie Ming!" Hua Tianshu cried out in worry as he rushed to the man.
Jie Fu Lian’s eyes were still a bit red but as soon as he saw Hua Tianshu, his mind started clearing up and his eyes returned to their normal state.
He was numb to the pain and could only feel the calmness taking over his body. He heard Hua Tianshu’s worried voice but was unable to respond to it.
He hugged the man and tears started streaming down Hua Tianshu’s eyes as Jie Fu Lian closed his eyes and fell asleep.
Jie Fu Lian didn’t wake up for the next two days. 𝙛𝒓𝓮𝒆𝔀𝒆𝙗𝓷𝒐𝙫𝒆𝙡.𝒄𝓸𝓶
On the third day, when Hua Tianshu came back to change the bandages, Jie Fu Lian disappeared from his room.
Hua Tianshu’s mind immediately went blank and he panicked. He searched all over the house and when he couldn’t find the man, he went out to search all over the city.
He blamed himself for being careless and letting Jie Fu Lian go out. He knew he shouldn’t have let anyone else be able to see Jie Fu Lian. He knew he should have protected the man and kept him hidden but he had failed.
If Jie Fu Lian hurt anyone, his secret would be revealed. If it was known that Jie Fu Lian was related to demons, nobody would take his side. It would become hard to protect the man.
Hua Tianshu was afraid of losing Jie Fu Lian and more than anything else, he was afraid of seeing that man get hurt.
He walked around the city at least five or more times before he finally came across Jie Fu Lian who was lying on the street, completely unconscious.
It took three hours to find the man but those three hours had certainly been the longest three hours of Hua Tianshu’s life.
Hua Tianshu immediately ran over to the man and kneeled down as he picked the man up and hugged him close.
Except for the old injuries, there were no more new wounds visible on the man’s body. It looked like he had passed out from exhaustion but that was about it.
After checking his condition, Hua Tianshu couldn’t help but sigh in relief.
Just then, Jie Fu Lian opened his eyes and looked at Hua Tianshu as he muttered "Bai YiJun...? What are you doing here?"
It seemed that he was hallucinating again.
Jie Fu Lian’s hand reached out to the man’s face as he wiped away the sweat trailing down Hua Tianshu’s forehead.
"When did you come?" Jie Fu Lian asked softly, still feeling a bit drowsy.
Hua Tianshu gulped as he heard this question and he understood the fact that Jie Fu Lian was currently hallucinating, but for some reason, he still felt his heart race when he saw Jie Fu Lian looking at him with such a soft expression and talking to him so gently.
He also felt a little jealous of this person called ’Bai YiJun’.
"Were you worried about me?" Jie Fu Lian closed his eyes and his lips curled up in a small smile as he asked.
"En," Hua Tianshu responded and before Jie Fu Lian could say anything further, Hua Tianshu impulsively lowered his head and sealed Jie Fu Lian’s lips with his own.
Hua Tianshu had always been an impulsive man, but when it came to Jie Fu Lian, he had tried his best to be patient but for some reason, he couldn’t control himself today.
It might have been the realization of how little time they had left that drove him to kiss the man on impulse like this.
He was worried that perhaps these days were going to be the last few days that they could spend with each other.
If one of them was really going to die in this dream world then he no longer cared to be patient anymore. He no longer wanted to hold himself back.
Surprisingly enough, Jie Fu Lian didn’t push him away. Hua Tianshu didn’t know if it was because the man had no strength left to push him away or because he simply did not want to push him away. No matter, what the case was, he was glad that he wasn’t rejected.
Jie Fu Lian grabbed the back of Hua Tianshu’s head and pulled him closer as he kissed the man back. This one action truly shocked Hua Tianshu to the core.
There was a moment of ecstasy but it didn’t last long.
As they pulled away, Jie Fu Lian muttered a single name and passed out once again, "Bai YiJun..."
The happiness and excitement Hua Tianshu felt immediately died down. Jealousy and hatred took over his mind. He frowned as he heard the name and made a decision.
He was going to get out of here even if that meant killing the demon king and his subordinate. He had to survive and get out so that he can go and kill that man called Bai YiJun!
Jealousy was a strong feeling.
Just a few seconds ago, the man had given up on his life and had decided to follow his heart without any restraints. However, now, he was filled with jealousy that had turned into rage, and that rage had motivated him to keep fighting.
The next day, when Jie Fu Lian woke up, he found himself strapped to the bed, wearing nothing more than his underpants.
He was thoroughly shocked and confused.
A few minutes passed and he innocently blinked his eyes as he looked around before yelling out in anger, "Hua Tianshu! Why the hell did you do to me?!"
As soon as Hua Tianshu heard the man’s voice, he smiled as he plated the dumplings that he had cooked.
"Hua Tianshu, why am I naked?! I can’t move! What’s happening?!"
Hua Tianshu hummed to himself, feeling quite satisfied with this reaction as he took his time to take the plate of dumplings and walked over to Jie Fu Lian’s room.
As soon as the door was opened, a fluffy white cat entered and hopped onto Jie Fu Lian’s chest but was soon rudely pushed aside by Hua Tianshu who came in right after the cat.
"Hua Tianshu!" Jie Fu Lian gritted his teeth as he glared at the man, waiting for an explanation.
"Jie Ming, do you not remember what happened?" Hua Tianshu tilted his head as he asked, looking completely harmless and innocent.
"I ran away?" Jie Fu Lian gulped as he asked.
Hua Tianshu nodded his head, "That’s right. You ran away. Do you remember anything else?"
Jie Fu Lian was unsure if it was a dream or not and hence, he refrained from saying what was on his mind.
"Am I supposed to remember something else?" He questioned back.
"There’s something that I’ve told you countless times and yet, you seem to have forgotten it," Hua Tianshu sighed as he set the plate of dumplings aside and sat down next to the bed as he spoke, "Didn’t I tell you not to leave this house? It’s for your protection and also for the protection of everyone else who is trapped in this dream with you."
Jie Fu Lian looked away as he heard this, he felt a little guilty about it but he wasn’t apologetic.
He didn’t leave this house because he wanted to leave. He left because he didn’t want to hurt Hua Tianshu, but of course, he would rather die than say this to Hua Tianshu’s face.
"Jie Ming, I told you to be a good kid but you misbehaved so now I have to lock you up here."
Jie Fu Lian immediately glared at the man as he heard this and retorted, "Who the hell is a kid?!"
Hua Tianshu smiled as he heard this response, "The one who doesn’t listen to logical words is of course a kid."
"..." Jie Fu Lian wanted to defend himself but he couldn’t say anything.
"The month is almost over," Hua Tianshu sighed as he picked up the plate of dumplings and spoke, "We’ll be able to leave this place soon."
He took the chopsticks and picked up a piece of dumpling before bringing it next to Jie Fu Lian’s mouth as he gestured for the man to open his mouth.
Jie Fu Lian gulped as he looked down at the piece of dumpling. He couldn’t have imagined this situation even in his wildest of dreams. The cold-hearted proud jerk Hua Tianshu was actually feeding him so patiently... It felt too unreal!
Jie Fu Lian opened his mouth and took a bite.
"Jie Ming, I’ll kill the demon king."
Jie Fu Lian choked on the dumpling and the fluffy cat next to him glared at Hua Tianshu.
