As anger erupted within her, she roared in anger and said, "I will end you, Skarg!!!!"

"Come out and fight me if you dare. Come out and fight, or I will kill everyone you love and destroy everything you care for."

All four zombies screamed that out, so a lot of people heard it. Skarg also heard it through his human puppets. But he didn’t come out to confront her.

He, too, was hiding in safety while he controlled his human puppets to do his bidding. So he is similar to Death Envoy in that both of them let others do their fighting for them. They rarely confront danger themselves.

When Skarg heard her scream of challenge, he snorted and said, "Just wait until I get that Loki. When I have him, I will have time to deal with you." 𝕗𝐫𝐞𝕖𝕨𝐞𝗯𝚗𝕠𝘃𝐞𝚕.𝐜𝗼𝚖

Then he asked himself, saying, "I wonder where she has hidden him. Is he with her in her lair?"

"No matter. I want to get rid of her anyway. I can just take the two of them down together."

Death Envoy was looking for Loki, and so was Skarg. In their attempt to get Loki, both of them clashed many times and fought with the lives of many people on the line.

The Loki they were looking for was also looking for someone. The weird thing about his search was that he didn’t approach the person he was looking for despite knowing where they were.

What he did was to find a building some distance away from his target with a clear view of his target. Then he climbed the building to the top so that he could see where his target was.

After gaining direct line of sight, he activated the Shifting Armor Ability. When this Life Ability was activated, a black liquid that was as thick as tar erupted from Fenrir, gushed out of his energy well, and covered his body, starting from his belly.

The black liquid spread out all over his body, covering his eyes and ears, before solidifying into a mech armor. This black combat armor was as glossy as obsidian. Even the part that covered his eyes looked opaque from the outside.

After the armor was set on his body, more black liquid gushed out of his energy well and congregated on his shoulders, where they formed two shoulder-mounted guns.

The guns were small rail guns with two barrels for shooting armor-penetrating rounds. So there are four barrels in total.

As he fired one barrel, he mouthed to himself, "One."

The gun fired its deadly payload with deathly silence. The only sign that he fired something was the slight recoil that he felt on his shoulders. As for everyone else, they were ignorant of the terrible projectile that had been let loose.

Only one person sensed the dangerous bullet. This person also happened to be Loki’s target.

In fact, this person sensed the danger as soon as Loki thought about firing the weapon. They didn’t know whatthe danger was, but they knew where it was coming from and they knew to dodge to avoid the danger.

The bullet punched through the wall like it wasn’t there and sailed past Slav. Because Slav dodged, the bullet struck the person he was talking to and caused their chest to explode.

As Slav fell to the ground, the sense of danger surged in his heart again. So he rolled across the ground to avoid it.

Just as he rolled, the bullet smashed into the ground, pierced it, and struck something on the next floor.

Slav had avoided danger twice in a row, but he couldn’t relax at all because the shadow of death was still chasing him. In fact, it can be said that the shadow of death had gotten closer to him now than earlier.

The shadow of death was so close that he could feel it on his neck. This time, he couldn’t create enough distance between himself and death because he was still rolling on the ground. So he began to panic.

In his panic, he activated the Money Armor Metac. This was activated with a power that was 2(Cultivation Rank) × 2(Mind) × 2(Money Armor) × (101% Skill), which was 8.08 units.

Just as he did this, another bullet tore through the wall and smashed into the golden barrier around his body. The bullet had struck him with a power that was equal to 3(Cultivation Rank) × (3(Mind) + 357%(Energy Well)) × (3(Life Ability) + 4(Living Armament)) × (210% Skill), which was 289.737 units.

With this kind of disparity in power, it was no wonder that the golden barrier fell apart upon contact. The bullet struck Slav in the back, severed his spine, and smashed his internal organs into pieces.

On the other side, Loki sensed that Slav was no longer moving. He also sensed that Slav’s life force was dwindling.

So he smiled and said, "And that’s how you catch someone with the Danger Sense Metac."

After he said this, he made the rail guns liquify and transform into large blade-like feathers. The blades clumped together to form the feathers of two wings. Lightning crackled in the blades, which led to the production of an electromagnetic force, which in turn provided the lift needed for him to fly.

He took off from the top of the building he was standing on and went straight towards Loki. As he did this, he said to himself, "Come to daddy, you prodigal son. I will give you a good home right here in my belly."

The two rank 3 guards that Skarg had assigned to Slav had finally responded and were in the process of moving Slav’s body. Fortunately, he could still keep track of Slav’s body and didn’t lose his way.

Instead of going to the fourth floor where he shot Slav dead, he went to the first or second floor to intercept them there at the stairs.

Slav was dead, but the puppet warriors protecting him still fought to protect him. So he still had to get past them if he was going to get to Slav.
