But as bad as that experience with Lady Red was, he wasn’t cowed. He wasn’t willing to give up on the benefits he could get from Lady Red, so instead of planning to avoid her, his mind began churning and turning as he began planning what to do to get the things he had his eyes on.

After making up his mind, he said to himself, "I must get that World Heart Fragment from her. I will either use Greg to get it, or I will try to get it by force."

As he was thinking about how to go about achieving this, the River of Time disappeared around him, and he plunged into his body in the physical world.

His two consciousnesses began to fuse, and the current mind of his body began working on digesting the memories of the future while Fenrir started the work of advancing his present self from rank 1 to rank 4.

Since he is now in rank 4, Fenrir can now go back into the past for 8 months for each of his energy density level. Since he is at the early stage of rank 4, he has an energy density level of level 13. So he appeared 104 months into the past.

This point in time was a little farther than the point in time he awakened, so after everything was done, he opened his eyes and saw Slav hiding behind Muni.

This sight made him ask himself, saying, "Can I take him now?"

Then he smiled and said, "There is only one way to find out."

So he activated his Life Ability and began rushing towards Slav.

A black armor appeared on his body, which strengthened his body. This gave him the power to crush everything in his way to reach Slav.

Everyone in the room began to panic, and Muni jumped away to avoid being implicated in their fight. But there was something different this time around. It was that Slav wasn’t looking down on him.

Slav wasn’t looking at Loki in a condescending manner as he usually did. For some reason, he was taking Loki seriously.

Loki didn’t know why Slav was behaving differently this time around, but he didn’t think too much about it. As usual, he produced Gatling guns on his shoulders, which he let rip at 6,000 rounds per minute.

In order to avoid the attack, Slav used the Space Blink Metac and disappeared from the line of fire. Loki expected Slav to appear behind him. Then Slav would take the initiative by attacking him with the Space Tear Metac.

But this didn’t happen this time around. Slav did appear somewhere behind him, but it was at the door.

Slav also used the Space Tear Metac to enhance his hand. But he didn’t use his hand to attack Loki. What he attacked was the door.

Slav cut the lock on the door. Then he kicked the door open and ran away.

This caught Loki off guard, and he had to say, "What the hell just happened?"

He knew what had happened and that it was that Slav, for some reason, thought that he was too great a threat to deal with. He found this difficult because he didn’t know why Slav would think that.

In fact, he expects Slav to defeat him soundly and kill him. He was just making this attempt just to be sure that he couldn’t take on Slav yet.

Now that things have turned out this way, Loki said to himself, "I have advanced to rank 4, and I also possess a rank 4 Dao Status. Which one of them has made me too dangerous for Slav?"

"Could it be the rank 4 cultivation, or is it both of them? Or is it both of them in combination with my Life Ability? Could it be that my overall power has become too great for Slav, or is there a single thing about me that is making Slav wary of me?"

He committed suicide so that he could reverse time and have another fight with Slav. During the lull between the time he died and the time he would awaken again, he used the period to think back to the fight and plan his new fighting strategy.

He was still thinking about that fight when he awakened and saw Slav behind Muni. What he did next was to activate his Life Ability and run towards the door.

He didn’t run towards Slav like he usually did. He went for the door and put his back against it with no space for anything to squeeze through. Then he placed a tracker on Slav and activated the Siphon Ability through it.

As the Siphon Ability took effect, an ocean of energy became accessible to him. All of the energy seemed infinite. It gave him the confidence to do something he had never dared to do before.

He stretched out both of his hands and let the black shifting material that made up his arm grow 3 tentacles. After the tentacles reached one meter in length, he made them split into three tentacles each and continued growing these three extensions.

When these three extensions reach a meter, he made them split into three extensions again. This now made for a total of 27 tentacles for a single arm of his. But he didn’t stop there. He continued to make the tentacles split.

He also made large spiked thorns grow out across the length of every tentacle. This way, anything around them would be stabbed to death with the thorns.

His goal was to fill the whole room with thorny tentacles. That way, there will be nowhere to hide in the room, and everyone in the room will be stabbed to death.

This is a large undertaking that will require a great deal of energy. The amount of energy that he is consuming is not greater than his extraordinary energy regeneration, but there is the fact that he simply doesn’t have enough energy within him to regenerate. 𝐟𝚛𝕖𝚎𝕨𝗲𝐛𝚗𝐨𝐯𝐞𝕝.𝐜𝗼𝗺
