The Hero of Hypnosis-Chapter 370: Temple number two
"They’re extremely flashy," Osiren muttered as he and Kyana looked for the best way to enter the quarry.
"That’s better for us. We can enter without being seen....Wait, I can go invisible, what am I doing? Can you go invisible?"
He shook his head. "Unfortunately, I cannot. And the tool I use to do so is back in my quarters at the resistance base."
"That’s very unfortunate, but don’t worry." She tapped his shoulder, and he turned invisible. "I can make you invisible anyway."
"Wow, thanks."
"Yeah. Just don’t bump into anyone."
He nodded. "Got it."
Kyana and Osiren stealthily made their way through the quarry, killing any demon and soldier that they came across, not sparing one of them.
They listened in on conversations so they could get some free information, and after the conversations ended, they assassinated them.
The path they took led them to encounter six people: two soldiers and four demons. Kyana told Osiren to take the left while she would handle the right.
He nodded, and they split up.
Kyana fired an arrow at one demon’s head, jumping on top of another human and stabbing him in the throat. Then, before the last demon could say anything, the arrow whisped around and impaled him in the eye.
On Osiren’s end, he created two spectral hands to crush the heads of the two demons, then he leaped forward, creating a blade of chi and stabbing it in the human’s heart.
"Good work." Kyana smiled
"Thanks."
They continued to move forward, stopping because Gwen slammed a demon in front of them, apologizing, then left.
"She can see us?" Osiren asked in a whisper.
"She has good eyesight." She chuckled
"So do I. I also have good hearing as well." Behind them, a demon appeared with a Soldier.
Osiren and Kyana turned around and took up a fighting stance.
"Did you really think we wouldn’t notice you two clowns crawling around here?" The demon asked, getting ready to strike.
"You should be asking that of the many people we killed along the way." Kyana lept forward, wrapping her legs around the demon, flipping him onto the ground, then snapped his neck.
The soldier tried to attack, but Osiren crushed the man in his big, chi hands.
Kyana sighed. "Well, I guess our cover is blown now." She actually liked moving like an assassin. 𝒇𝙧𝙚𝓮𝙬𝙚𝓫𝒏𝓸𝓿𝓮𝒍.𝓬𝙤𝓶
"What do you mean? We’re still invisible."
She pointed behind Osiren to a large group of demons and soldiers who were charging at them.
"Oh shit! What are we going to do? Do we fight?"
Kyana decided to pull a page out of Kai’s book. "We’re running!" She took off.
"What? We’re running? Why?"
"We’re here to find the temple, not to fight all of them. Leave that to Horisia and Gwen."
The two of them ran around the quarry, cutting down enemies in their line of sight while dodging attacks from behind them.
"Watch out!" Kyana grabbed the spear aimed at Osiren’s head, then threw it back at the soldier, killing him.
"Thanks!"
"Yeah. GWEN!"
"On it!" Gwen came down like a spiraling ball of death, sending waves of black lightning into the demons and soldiers, frying them from the inside. She charged forward, using her claws to cut others to pieces.
"Osiren, I’m going to through you very hard. Create an avatar of yourself." Kyana grabbed his shirt.
"What? H-Hey! Put me down!"
"Clench your buttcheeks!" Kyana jumped into the air, then tossed Osiren into the deepest part of the quarry.
"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!"
"MAKE YOUR AVATAR!" She shouted
"AHHHHHHHHHHHH!" Osiren responded, creating a large avatar of himself with his hands extending forward, and crashed into the ground.
"Haha! Good one, Osiren. Gwen, need a hand?"
"No, but you can help if you want."
Pulling out her bow, she drew the string once, and hundreds of arrows flew out of her bow and impaled the demons and soldiers.
"Show off."
Kyana smiled. "What can I say, I like making a scene."
"Yeah, I know."
Horisia flew over to them. "Hey, I will help get these people out of here now that every threat is taken care of. You two help Osiren."
"Got it."
Flying into the hold Osiren made, Gen and Kyana found him lying on the ground, groaning in pain.
"Nnnghh! That hurt, you know." His voice was muffled, but was still heard.
"Man up. You’ll be alright."
"Sup." Kai appeared next to them.
"Baby!" Gwen humped into his arms and started kissing him all over his face.
"Ha, nice to see you too, Gwen."
"Don’t leave me hanging." Kyana grabbed his sleeve, pulling him to her lips where she kissed him as well.
"Did you guys find the temple?" He asked
"Yes." Osiren groaned. "It’s right under my face."
Kai picked him up by the shirt, placing him down on the side, and saw what looked to be the room of the temple. To confirm it, he used his X-ray vision.
"Huh, he’s right." A huge gust of energy separated the land, and all of them dropped below, landing in front of the temple.
"Whoa! It’s amazing!" Osiren excalimed, appreciating the ancient architecture.
"Dude, it looks exactly the same as the last temple we went to."
"That doesn’t take away from its beauty and splendor!"
Kai couldn’t argue with that.
"Alright, let’s head in and see what challenges await us this time."
"Wait, Kai." Gwen pulled his shirt.
"Hmm? What’s up?"
"What dangers did you come across last time? I want to know what to expect."
"Uhh, traps, lots of them. Oh, and skeletons, but not monster skeletons, just dead bodies."
"Don’t forget the bugs," Osiren added
"You mother—" Kai nearly lost his mind. "I was purposely trying to forget that shit! Fuck! Now I don’t want to enter this place."
"Ha, there were bugs in there? The small kind or monster kind?" Kyana remembered how cute Kai looked when he was running away from the monster spider.
"Both, unfortunately."
"Don’t worry, baby, we’re here with you." Gwen comforted him.
"Yeah, so were Nadya and Kyana, and they just made fun of me."
"Pfft, what? That’s so mean! We’ll never make fun of you...right, Gwen?"
"Y-Yes. Totally."
"I know you both want to laugh. Let’s just get this over with."
