The Hero of Hypnosis-Chapter 437: No games! It’s a school night

Kai, Charlotte, and Izzy continued their training the next day, repeating what they had done previously. Even though Charlotte was new to using magic properly, she already had years of training and knowledge, so she was quick to progress.

No, it wasn’t right to say that she was quick to progress. She was finally able to use her power at the level she should be at.

There was one downside, though, and it was that she was weak for her age. Charlotte was 19, turning 20 soon, and her peers were at the bare minimum in the 3rd Tier of power, and those students were around the bottom of their class.

For their age, she should be around the 4th tier of power, so, instead of going through grueling training, Kai just made her a Tier 4 mage.

"I can’t believe it! You can just make people strong like this?" Charlotte asked, feeling a lot of power flowing through her.

"Yeah. Once you know how the mana network in the body works, then it’s pretty easy to manipulate it. Watch." Kai walked over to Izzy, who was also shocked, then instantly made her a tier-10 mage.

"See."

"W-What? How? This...This is insane!" The gap between tiers after reaching tier 5 was not a small amount, and that gap keeps getting bigger with each tier. So to go from tier 7 to 10 in an instant was insane to Izzy.

"If I activate your body’s true mana network, then you’ll be even stronger." Kai did that with Kassandra, and she became a beast. It also allowed her to break through past the 10th tier of power, which everyone thought was the highest level.

"Mana network?" Izzy asked.

"Yeah, it’s...You know what, I’ll just activate it on you." Kai didn’t feel like explaining, so he touched Izzy’s back, and the mana network that was dormant inside her body was activated.

Mana flowed through her as if a dam had broken. It was so overwhelming that she needed time to properly control her power.

"W-What did you just do to her?" Charlotte asked

"Opened her eyes to a new world." Kai smiled, waiting for Izzy to finish controlling her power.

Once she was done, she opened her eyes and couldn’t believe how powerful she was. With a single finger, she shot a fireball into the sky, and it exploded with enough force that it not only made a loud sound like thunder, but it also caused a miniature earthquake.

"T-That was a Tier-1 spell," Izzy said in disbelief.

"What? Impossible! That had to have been a tier-8 spell! No tier-1 spell is that strong!" Charlotte refused to believe Izzy because what she said made no sense, but it was the truth.

"I’m speaking the truth, Lady Charlotte. That was a tier-1 spell. Just a basic fireball." She then turned to Kai. "Now I understand how you’re so powerful."

’Eh, not really, but sure.’ Kai still nodded and smiled.

"This is amazing! When you made me a tier-10 mage, I could feel as if I had reached the end of the tunnel when it came to power. But now, I feel like there is a tier beyond the 10th!"

"There is," Kai spoke up. "The only reason why you all haven’t been able to achieve that is that you didn’t know you had two more mana networks in your body. Hell, you guys weren’t even using the existing mana network you already had properly. Now, you are."

Izzy was too eager to test out the limits of her power, so that’s what she did.

Karumi took her into a pocket dimension used for training to spar with her while Kai continued to train Charlotte. After some hours, they all went back to the estate, then went to bed because there was school in the morning.

"He’s hot."

"Do you think he knows?"

"I can’t believe that he killed Brimous."

"Don’t mess with him, he’s bad news."

Kai was walking down the hall with Charlotte to go to her class. There apparently was some lesson that was going on where nobles were asked to bring their attendants for extra participants.

Lots of people were backing away from them, not wanting to suffer the same fate as Brimous, while others looked at him with admiration.

Charlotee was loving the way people were acting. Sure, she wasn’t the one who did those things, but it was her attendant who did, and that glory would extend to her slightly.

No one would want to mess with her since her attendant clearly had no problems showing people their place and killing them if need be.

"Hehe! Take that, suckers." She said under her breath.

"Oh, Charlotte, how have you been?" Yulia walked over to her, greeting Charlotte.

"Yulia, nice to see you again. I see that you have a new attendant." She looked at the woman who was behind Yulia, staring at Kai with an angry expression.

"Ah, yes. Since your attendant killed my last one, I had to get a replacement. This is Justine, Jace’s older sister. Say hello."

"You’ll regret killing my brother," Justine growled.

Kai didn’t respond. Instead, he showed her many different ways he could kill her and how insignificant she was compared to him in the span of a second.

After his little mind fuck finished, Justine fell to the ground, her body shaking as she stared at Kai with fear in her eyes.

"M-Monster!" She managed to get out.

He shook his head. "Not monster, womanizer. Completely different."

"Justine, what are you doing? You’re embarrassing me! Get up!" Yulia’s voice rang through the air, causing people to turn their heads.

"Y-Yes, Lady Yulia."

"I’ll see you around, Charlotte."

"Take care." Charlotte waved her off. "What did you do to her?"

"I simply showed her how awesome I am."

"Mhmm, sure you did. Well, it doesn’t matter. We should head to class. The lesson today is going to be a great one!"

Kai wasn’t that interested, but since Charlotte was, he was eager to find out what the lesson was about.
