"Are you out of your mind?" Ye Rong finally exploded at his daughter after reaching home. "You embarrassed me in front of everyone and do you even have any idea how much we are going to lose if Fu group decides not to do any business deal with us? I thought you were smart but today only showed me how foolish you are."
Ye Qingyi frowned and said "I admit I was out of control and said things I shouldn’t have but you don’t know who she is. She is Yang Meiyi, Fu Mingze’s ex-fiancee. Seeing her there and finding out she was working in Fu’s group as his secretary made me so angry that without thinking I exploded." She looked at her father and said "Everything that is happening is your fault. If you hadn’t taken me with you to the States then Fu Mingze would have still been mine, a girl like Yang Meiyi could have never had the chance to come near him."

"Are you calm now or do you need another slap." Ye Rong said angrily. He felt a little guilty when he saw the redness on his daughter’s cheek and said "You are Ye Qingyi, the daughter of Ye Rong, have there ever been a time when I didn’t give you what you asked for? Yes, they were once engaged but not married so relax. Even his grandfather wants you to marry him, we just need a little push and he will be yours."
"Really Dad?"
"Of course. I Ye Rong make a promise to you that before the end of this month, you and Fu Mingze will get engaged."

The villa was located on a private property so a taxi couldn’t enter, but luckily she was able to convince the cab to stop a few feet to the gate.
"Thank you." Yang Meiyi replied as she paid the cab driver who spared one more look at the beautiful villa before driving away.
As Yang Meiyi walked closer to the gate, she noticed the guard house on the left side of the gate. And when the security guard noticed her, he asked "Are you looking for someone miss?"
Yang Meiyi smiled at him and said "I’m here to see Mr. Fu."
The security guard looked at her warily and wondered who this woman was, apart from Miss Ye, no woman had ever come to find his boss, and even Miss Ye had never been allowed to enter inside, the boss always found one reason or the other to send her back. Was this another one of the boss’s admirers? In that case, he will not allow her to enter inside, especially now that the boss is sick.
"Do you have an appointment with the boss?"
Yang Meiyi could see the way he was looking at her suspiciously as he asked the question, there was no doubt that he was thinking about her being a crazy stalker. "Of course I have an appointment, he is expecting me."
"In that case then I will just call the boss to confirm."
Yang Meiyi sighed and dug her hand into her purse, she collected her employee ID and showed it to him as she said "I am Mr Fu’s assistant, newly appointed not too long ago and you can’t call your boss because he is sick. Bai Jian knows I’m here, he was the one who called me over with instructions to bring some drugs for him, should I also show you the drugs? If you don’t believe me then call Mr. Bai, but just know that you will only be wasting time by doing this, Mr Fu needs this medicine and if he doesn’t get it on time then whatever happens to him will be your fault."
Yang Meiyi could see fear in the security guard’s eyes and added "I wonder if you are capable of being responsible if anything happens to the president of Fu group. You have to open the gate now, Mr Fu needs his medicines immediately."
"Yes, of course." The security guard said and Immediately opened the gate.
Yang Meiyi smiled slightly when the gate opened and quickly walked in before the security guard could even think of changing his mind.
The villa was very big and beautiful, but she could not see Bai Jian’s car parked anywhere so that meant, he must have already left. Thank goodness.
Yang Meiyi decided to admire the view of the house another time and thought of what could be Fu Mingze’s passcode. She tried his birthday but the door did not open, she then tried his grandfather’s birthday and even her birthday but that did not work.
What could be his passcode? Yang Meiyi placed her head on the door as she thought of what Fu Mingze could have used as his passcode and then a set of numbers entered her head, she slowly pressed the numbers and the door opened. At this moment, Yang Meiyi couldn’t stop the tears that left her eyes. His passcode was their wedding date, which means he doesn’t hate her.
With a smile on her face, Yang Meiyi cleaned her tears and entered the house, the living room was nicely polished and the house was very quiet, she was sure he would be in his room, so she climbed the stairs and opened multiple doors before she saw him lying on a massive bed with his eyes close. Yang Meiyi walked towards him softly and placed her hand on his forehead to check his temperature, she sighed in relief when she saw that he was no longer burning up like before and muttered "Who would have thought Bai Jian was capable of reducing his temperature."
She sat on his bed and used the tip of her hand to trace his face and suddenly bent forward to kiss his forehead, her lips lingered there for a few seconds before she moved her lips to his ear and whispered "I love you Mingze."
Yang Meiyi stood up and left the room, closing the door quietly.
A few seconds after Yang Meiyi left, the man who had his eyes closed suddenly opened his beautiful blue eyes, he stared at the closed door for a few moments before closing his eyes.
