Yang Meiyi looked at her husband with a smile and said "I found the maid who he had paid to do the dirty work and I convinced her to tell the truth."

"Yes, but how? Did you offer her more money or tell her that she was going to come out of this unscratched."

"Qiang Du is a selfish woman who thinks she deserves happiness beyond her evil deeds. Right now, her greatest fear isn’t Yang Jiu, is losing the man she has come to love and losing the respect her nephew has for her and all that will be lost as soon they find out the secret that Qiang Du is keeping."

"And what secret will that be?"

"That they are father and son. "

"You threatened her with this secret?"

"Not only that but to feed her wonderful nephew the same medicine she gave to my grandfather. Out of fear, she accepted my deal, provided I make it look like she had no choice and her relationship isn’t affected."

"Since she carried on the act, does that mean you accepted her demands?"

"To her, yes I did but the real truth is I will destroy all the relationships she cares about and I will make sure she never finds happiness again until I am ready to make her spend her remaining miserable years in jail. It is the least she deserved for hurting my grandfather."

Fu Mingze laughed softly as he said "I agree, it is the least. I will work on the transfer of the Yang Jiu project and before tomorrow noon, you shall see that the project will be transferred to Sky Corporation."

Yang Meiyi smiled in excitement as she said "Thanks Mingze."

Fu Mingze brought their joined hands to his lips and kissed them saying "You know I will do anything for you, all you just have to do is ask."

Yang Meiyi smiled and tiptoed to kiss his cheek. "It’s a shame that with the evidence we have and the confession, Yang Jiu won’t be spending the rest of his life in jail. Knowing Yang Jia, she must have already called Gu Zhen to save her father."

"Speaking about fathers, have you ever thought of finding your real father?" Fu Mingze asked softly. He wished he was there when she found out that Yang Jiu wasn’t her real father, the thought of the pain she had gone through broke his heart.

"Why should I find him? I have lived for twenty-three years without him, I didn’t need him then and I certainly don’t need him now." Yang Meiyi said, she smile at Fu Mingze and whispered "I only need you."

Fu Mingze looked at her gently as he tucked a loose strand of hair behind her ears and said "I have something for you."

"What is it?" Yang Meiyi asked in excitement.

Fu Mingze dug his hand into his pockets and bought out a familiar necklace with a blue pendant. "I found it under a certain someone’s pillow. You told me you lost it, why did you lie?"

Yang Meiyi was surprised to see her necklace in his hands, hearing his question, she replied "Because i was scared you were going to take it from me. Are you angry?"

"I’m not angry Meiyi, I’m just glad you kept it safe."

"Of course I did, I couldn’t even let it out of my sight because it reminded me of you. Remember when you gave it to me, you said whenever I miss you all I have to do is touch the blue pendant and I will feel you with me. So that’s what I did, during those two years we were apart, I didn’t feel that I was completely alone, I felt like you were with...."

Yang Meiyi felt his lips on hers before she could even complete her statement. She smiled as she wrapped her hand around his neck and kissed him back.

The kiss only lasted for a minute or two before Fu Mingze pulled away and said "We will never be apart again."

Yang Meiyi nodded as she whispered "Never."

Fu Mingze hugged her tightly and sincerely pray that nothing would come between them again.

"What do you mean by the project has been given to someone else? I have spent days and nights working on that, I have even spent millions and even put the Sang Enterprise in collateral so you can’t come here and tell me that the project is now I’m the hands of someone else."

"Calm down Dad. I have spoken to Gu Zhen lawyers and he said the evidence they have against you isn’t strong enough, so you will be released on bail. When you get released, I’m sure we can get that project back." Yang Jia said.

"We have to get it back because everything lies in that project. Without it, Yang Corporation will become bankrupt, we will have nothing, Yang Jia."
