Triple X System-Chapter 196: Joining the fight (2)

’Bam! Bam!’

Several bang sounds went off, like cannons blasting off. Outside the giant oval egg shaped building stood an oppsing figure.

Reaching about over 7 feet tall in height.

It wasn’t dressed in any clothing, visibly stark naked. Showcasing it’s beastial nature.

’Damnit! Just how strong is this thing?’

Reze gritted her teeth, watching the holographic screen on her watch. It had just been a few minutes since the creatures arrival. But it had managed to wipe out all the guards, stationed outside.

Clenching it’s fist tightly the dragon’s muscles bulged. Getting more denser as green veins bulged on it’s arm.

Without warning it brought it down fast to the spacious sliding metal door.

’Boom!’

This punch was much fiercer than the rest occupied by a shockwave. The location where it had punched had a fist sized hole.

"It got stronger." Reze muttered in superstition, not believing her eyes.

Just when she thought there was some hope, the dragon’s strength increased.

That door was not only made from linder, the strongest steel present here. But also reinfirced with titanium, adding to it’s durability.

But not only had it managed to cayse damage, but also threatened to collapse the doir.

"Preoare yourself. It seems we’re going to have to hold that thing off until reinforcements arrive." Reze ordered with a steel of resolve.

Her energy blaster raised and aimed at the door. Her fingers clutching the trigger button just enough, ready to squeeze.

"H- how can she be this calm with that thing on a rampage." A male guard stuttered, slightly trembling in place.

He was stationed in front, among the furst line if defense. It wasn’t only him but others shared in his idea, scared to the core of the abomination outside.

As part of the security measures the building was on struct lockdown. All airlocks, entrance, and even the vents were shut.

But it didn’t look like such advanced reinforced door, was enough against the sheer power if the dargon.

’Bam! Bam!’

Not stopping, the dargon released a barrage of mindless strikes. Just like the previous one, aimed at the metal door.

The fierce generated was strong, able to generate fierce gusts of wind. It’s muscles moving non stop, like a gun recoiling from a torrent of blasts.

’Creak! Creak!’

Before their eyes the glorified durable mechanism was giving out against the dragon’s punches. Several big fist sized holes mounted to the door.

Making creak noises threatening to collapse, against the overwhelming power.

’Bang! Bang! Bang!’

The bang sounds were never ending, filling the entire building. Causing it to shake with each strike, from the menacing dargon.

’Creak!’

The entrance metal door let out a faint creak noise. Slowly succumbing to the undeniable faith awaiting it.

With a wide grin the dargon raised both arms, it’s ripping muscles on display. The veins around it’s arms bulging with such power, it looked like they would explode any moment.

’Boom!’

The dargon brought down both arms, lightning fast. Crashing against the metal door with abnormal power. Making the entire building shake greatly.

’Creak!!’

’impossible~’ Reze eyes widen seeing the heavy linder door make it’s loudest creak sounds. Unable to withstand it anymore, crashing backwards down to the ground with a deafening thud.

"Huh?" There was a confused expression, plastered to the dragon’s face. Met with yet another of the same huge steel door like the first.

"You didn’t think it would be that easy did you." Reze spoke through the transmitter in her ear. Asides from the kingdom, the teleportation bay was the second most guarded place in lumia kingdom.

Proposing it housed almost all of the equipments manufactured here. And the priceless artifact with was the teleportation device.

Enabling anyone or thing to travel anywhere without worries. Literally transportation through time and space, at light speed. Without any consequences.

"Growl."

The dargon let out a low subtle groan at reze words. It’s fist tightened, a testament to it’s burning rage.

"Come on, i thought you had more than that in you. Why don’t you hit it? Maybe it’s more softer than the first." Reze teased crackling like a mad woman.

She noticed blood seeping down the dragon’s knuckles. Green in colour, indicating it was bleeding. Affected from the repercussions of punching the strongest metal here.

’It’s not invisible afterall. If it can bleed from that then these energy blasters should do the trick.’

As a scientist she was confident in her work, and with the additional knowledge of the beast weak spot. She was certain they could take it diwn before backup arrived.

"M- miss reze, are you sure it’s a good idea to get it more upset?" A petite female space guard shrieked.

"What.. of course, don’t tell me you’re scared of a stupid beast." Reze coldy spoke, making the girl gulp hard. Feeling the intimidating woman’s piercing glare.

"O- of course not!"

"That’s more like it." Flashing a condescending goare at her, her attention shifted back to the screen.

’Why us it just standing there?’ she wondered seeing the dargon frozen in place.

Yes it was hurt, but nothing severe. Infact minor to nothing for a creature of it’s calibre. Making her wonder why it wasn’t attempting to break in anymore.

’Could it be a skill from it’s ability it used earlier. And now it has to wait for a cooldown?’ it was a theory, not knowing much about these species.

While beasts could sbsorb mana, hasting their evolution. Not all did possess abilities, which made her wonder if this did.

’He didn’t mention an ability so it’s probably just it’s strength.’ She shrugged.

Still dumbfounding her, as this beast not only broke the laws of physics. But also nature.

Abruptly raising it’s head there was a wide smile, spread on it’s face. The huge canine set of teeth, barred at the cameras situated up.

"Oh no~" reze face went pale, sighting what looked like a huge spaceship. The size of a large vessel, capable of accomodating half of the kingdom’s population.

It was dark in colour with two huge thrusters at the back. Having strange hardened black scales, running along it’s body. With three big Cannon guns.

"Shit!" She subconsciously cursed, a deep friwn appearing on her face. "Quick! Everyone retreat back to the teleportation bay."

Seeing the sudden change if reze reaction made the guards heart flutter. They’d been confident at first in their defense. But a single creature managed to crush their resolve with ease.

’Hiss~’

A low hissing sound could be heard, coming from outside. Making reze bite her lips, realizing what that sound was.

The huge black spaceship slowly inched towards the egg shaped building. But that wasn’t all, no! Just below the tip of the front were stationed the three big cannon blasters.

Now emitting a spark of purple energy, getting more brighter. Seemingly charging up for no doubt an attack.

The distance between the group and the doors were pretty close. Making retreating a bit hard as the cannons charged up more faster. The purple light now vividly on display forming three purple balls at the mouth.

Growing bigger, reaching the size of a jet engine.

Letting out a high pitched static hum, the reactor cannons blasted in unison without warning. Shooting out three high packed energy blasts with blurring speed.

Moving in a straight line, directed at the metal doors. The dargon had long moved away from the blast radius upon sighting the ship. A sickening smile etched to it’s already horrid face.

’Boom!!’

A large explosion took place, as the blast found it’s mark to the door. Completely destroying it, along with the third and last reinforced door.

Blasting nearby objects away, obliterating them without a trace. Causing the building to rattle greatly, from the force equivalent to a magnitude 8 earthquake.

Calmly making it’s way in, the dargon had a smug grin. Proud of such catastrophic disaster caused, as even the floirs weren’t spared. Scorched with a deep black, along with several crack lines spiralling.

There was some black smoke filling the room, courtesy of the explosion. Which soon died down, making his face contort into a frown.

"What? Not the scence you were hoping for?" There in front, reze stood with her ever mocking smile.

Along with the rest guards behind her. Completely unaffected by the deadly blast, capable of annihilating them to ashes. A protective golden dome encompassing them.

Enraged the dargon charged straight for them, it’s massive claws on display.

"You’re quite fast fir a big fellow aren’t you." Reze chuckled with a crazed grin.

Her beam cannon pointed at the unfazed creature, continuing in it’s charge.

"Fire!" She commanded, her fingers squeezing the trugger button.

With a defiant riar the rest guards followed suit. Shooting off blue energy beams, directed at a particular spot.

’Bang! Bang! Bang!’

The barrage of energy beams assulted the dargons head. Stopping it in his tracks, pushing it back.

It tried defending by blocking it’s head, but was too kate. The onslaught of beams were just bountiful. Exploding it’s head, killing it on spot.

"W- we did it!" Reze excitedly yelled seeing it’d worked.

She was doubtful at first but fortunately Kyle’s advice had paid off.

’Thud! Thud!’

Their attention was attracted back to the entrance, as more dargons dropped from the skies.

"Remember the plan. Conserve your energy blasters,fire only when you have a clear shot." She instructed to which the guards defiantly nodded.

’Why does this feel like the beginning of something mych worse.’ She couldn’t place her finger to it, but she had a gut feeling. This was just the tip of something mych worse.
