Triple X System-Chapter 199: Blue skinned dargon
Seeing the severed head being clutched by troy, made the dargon freeze. Not expecting such an item, in that white fabric. But that wasn’t the most puzzling piece of puzzle.
No. It was the king himself, and the way he held the head like a trophy. The mad grin never leaving his face, staring down the creature. With a cold malicious intent, making the latter flinch a bit.
’Growl.’
Letting out a low subtle growl, the dargon regained itself. Snapping out from whatever nighmarish taunt troy had instigated.
It’s eyes flashed a look of superiority checking in on it’s far beastial nature. Deeming itself far superior to this deranged individual.
"Growl!"
It growled again, this time much aggressive than the last. It’s legs stomping the ground, making small crack to the path on the floor it moved. Reaching troy in no time despite it’s massive size.
"You’re fast, but not fast enough." Troy had a blank expression etched to his face. Keeping up with the dargon’s speed, causing the latter’s eye to widen.
Simply moving his hand at a faster pace, he didn’t try to block or dodge. Intercepting the beast blow, taking the power head on.
’Bam!’
A collision occured with a slight shockwave from the clash of the two monsters.
One, of a crocodile like beast with dragon scales. While the ither was a human dressed in black and gold, clutching onto a fresh human limb.
The difference in power was clear as day, with the loser being pushed back by the opposing party.
The dargon stunned in place once more astonished by tye physical feet pulled off by troy.
In normal logic it was a beast with a towering frame and massive body. It’s strength far surpassing that of a normal human, and competing head on with an ability user.
But not only had this puny human managed to block it’s strike. Without suffering any repercussions whatsoever. He was also pushing him back with ease.
"You’re also strong but unfortunately not strong enough." Troy commented with a hint if disappointment. Earning an awkward glare from the beast struggling to stand in place.
"Roar!"
The dargon let out a loud roar, seemingly enraged by troy’s insult. Using it’s free left hand, it threw out a punch to troy’s head.
The human head was clutched in his grip his right hand. Leaving him with a disadvantage, which the dargon capitalized on.
"And supposedly dumb too." Troy frowned his once sadistic smile replaced with disappointment.
With lightning fast reflexes he avoided the punch. Retaliating with a kick of his own, hitting the dargon straight on at it’s chest. Sending the beast flying back inwards to tge castle. Colliding with the end of the wall at the ground floor in the castle.
"Sorry! I used too much force." Troy apologized with a light smile. Hearing a faint crack sound, when he delivered that kick.
Stretching his left leg back, he imitated the dargon’s stance. The ground beneath him cracking a bit, grom the terrifying pressure weighing down on it.
"I assume this is what you were attempting."
The muscles in his legs bulged, like they had a life of their own. While his blood surged faster, directed at the lower leg regions.
’Bam!’
The ground beneath him cracked, forming spider crack lines. Unable to withstand the dominating force released. And simultaneously troy shot out like a cannon, his body disappearing from sight.
On instinct the dargon lept swsy from his spot, feeling his blood run cold. And at the same time troy crashed into the wall. Destroying a large portion of it into pieces, potruding up a small dust cloud.
Emerging from it was none other than troy, with the alarming smirk planted to his lips.
"Concentrating the blood flow in your veins to surge more faster. Directing it to your legs to generate an explosive force. Am i right?" He smiled, enjoying the helpess look plastered to the creatures face.
It was a simple yet complex trick, as one had to channel all concentration. Literally defying the laws of nature by surging, his own blood cells. Thereby heating the body temperature to above normal heights, generating an explosive force of speed.
"I can tell it’s not a skill, because i just did it. But more of a physica enhancement, possesed by your kind of species." Troy grinned, rubbing his chin.
He didn’t expect to get it at his first try, but he had his theories and decided to give it a go nevertheless. And the fact it didn’t require mana made ut all the more an effective move.
"Though there are some downsides. Which involves the process if speeding up your blood cells, and the heavy strain it takes on the body."
Having immense strength and stamina some deemed not human. He wasn’t excluded from the exceptions of fatigue, snd low mana.
So, while he’d just perfectly replicated the dargon’s trump move. He suffered the tolling strain, it had on his body.
"I’m guessing you’re limited to the amount if times you can do this. Before your bidy eventually gives out to fatigue right?" He asked but received no answer.
The beast standing some considerable meters from him. A dumbfounded pook of disbelief in it’s eyes, staring at troy.
"It’s alright, you don’t have to answer." A light chuckle escaped his mouth, thinking of something.
’The move that peasant used isn’t similar to this at all.’
What troy just did was advanced body manipulation. Similar to body manipulating abilities but not entirely so. Instead focusing on the capabilities of one’s own self and surpassing the limit.
Seeing troy lost in his thoughts, the dargon made a run for it. Stomping it’s massive lehs, sprinting towards the exit of the castle.
"Huh?" Troy frowned seeing the dargon bolting towards the door. His smile faded replaced by a deep scowl, watching the humanoid beast making a run for it’s life.
"I despise cowards~"
Waving his left hand, a set of small air bullets materialized. He didn’t condense them to make them stringer, leaving them in their primitive state.
Snapping his fingers, they shot forward with precise speed. Catching up with the dargon in no time. Not stopping, it had a confident smirk on it’s face. Feeling the air bullets, bouncing off his skin without a scratch.
"It didn’t work." Troy tilted his head to the side a bit, seeing his air bullet ineffective. The first ever in his years if slaughtering beasts.
"Hehe~" He creepily chuckled. The once dull look on his face, contorting into that of excitement.
Stretching his hand, a single air bullet formed in front. This time condensing into a much smaller size, equivalent to that of a fly.
Without warning it blasted off like a rocket, cutting through the air. Making gunshot noises as it sped faster than a moving jet.
"Argh!"
The dargon groaned sharply in pain, feeling the air bullet find it’s mark. Hitting it’s back, potruding out it’s chest region.
Crashing to it’s knees, it struggled to get up but failed miserably. The hit had pierced his heart, exploding it from the explosive force.
Green blood opzed out from the small hole in it’s chest, along with it’s mouth. The beast vision gradually fading, as it reached for the exit so close.
’Thud.’
The dargon’s lifeless body fell to the ground unmoving. Lating in it’s own pool of green blood.
"I had plans on sparring you and keeping you as my prison for your bravery. But oh well~" Sighing, troy simply glided through the air. Arriving at the entrance to the castle. Out in front he could see carnage unfolding as more of these beasts descended from the sky. All thanks to the giant spaceship, heading heading to a particular location.
"No~" Troy uttered realizing the enemies motive.
They had planned to cause and upscale of destruction throughout the kingdom. Averting their focus from their main objective, which was infact the teleportation bay.
"I have to deal with that thing." He said, focusing on the bigger threat at hand. Which was none other than the floating spaceship.
Stretching his had outwards to the ship, flashes of golden lightning cracked around it. Getting more fiercer and powerful as the lightning cracks roared in denial of it’s true potential.
’Boom! Boom!"
Various boom sounds erputed from whatever troy was conjuring. It wasn’t like that if an explosion but different. Similar to the aftermath sound produced, after a lightning strike.
The air around hus palm surged, as he condensed the air with internal lightning. With peels of thunder rumbles into a ball, surging with terrifying power.
’Bam!’
An object crashed into the ground, causing a small explosion to the side. Causing troy to instinctively turn, the raging storm ball colliding with a figure.
’Boom!!’
This explosion was much than the rest, making a huge crater were the two figures stood. A big part of the two metal doors at the entrance blasted to bits. Despite being made from linder.
The steps unable to withstand such force, crumbling to pieces. Causing an earthquake that rattled the entire kingdom. Sending huge gusts of wind everywhere.
"Not bad for a human." An opposing force spoke with a deep omnious tone.
Controlling the air Troy’s eye widened in disbelief. For the first time, his dull expression turning dead serious.
In front stood none other than a dargon. Having a very distinct build than the rest, reaching about 6 feet. Standing on its two legs like a human.
But that wasn’t the catch, no! It’s skin wasn’t green like the rest but blue in colour. With multiple blue dragon like scales, crackling with lighting encoating it.
