Chapter 208: Ending the invasion (2)

"I thought you’d made up your minds? Why are you still here?" Aurora calmly asked sensing two familiar aura colours. In what looked like green giant suits.

"I did. But then i realized i still have some unfinished business here." Kyle softly uttered.

His voice being broadcasted through the dual speakers present at both the mech suit shoulders.

Not saying anything, Aurora lowered her head. A subtle smile forming to her lips, relieved to see this two.

"Roar!"

The remaining dark green skinned dargon let out an ear deafening roar. Attracting Kyle and falcon’s attention.

’Is it just me or is that dargon way stronger than the one back in vaanderwood?’ He wasn’t certain, both beasts having similarities.

But unlike the one he’d faced in vaanderwood, this had a more darker shade of green skin. Prior to the normal green, he was accustomed with.

[Based on the feed I’ve determined that dargon is of a higer rank than the previous in vaanderwood.] Snow spoke in his head, and he could feel it.

The beast aura was on a whole new level, than any beast he’d faced so far. Which was weird, not expecting such an amazing growth speed within such time period.

"Take Aurora and any remaining survivors back to the castle for treatment." Kyle ordered earning an awkward glare from falcon.

"What are you talking about? There’s no way I’m leaving you to have fun by yourself." She pouted, stomping her mech leg in a cute manner.

"Sighs.. there might still be other survivors hiding in the kingdom. Families with dreams and ambitions, just like you. Do you really want to do this now?" Kyle softly asked in a composed tone.

Knowing falcon, she was a stubborn fox beast kin. Subjecting to no one, making her own rules and abiding by them. But as cold and independent she tried to potray.

There was this warm fuzzy vibe hidden within her.

"Fine! Just so you know, I’m doing this for me." Averting her gaze from kyle she picked Aurora up. Folding her in her left mech arm, crouching down a bit.

The mana stones cranking the charge usage up a notch. Hot steam excluding from the small vent pipes by the back of it’s legs.

Shooting the mech suit high in the air, reaching to about half of the room. The dargon stomping it’s foot, propelling itself in pursuit.

"How dare you take your eyes off me." Kyle spoke in a deep tone.

He was already one step ahead of the dargon, performing a heel kick. Sending the beast flying backwards, down to the floor.

’I could get used to this.’ A smug grin tug at the corners of Kyle’s lips.

Back on earth, he’d thought he was familiar with technoligical devices. Seeing it all and what not? But now he was completely amazed by the far superior innovations handle by this sci-fi themed kingdom.

"Roar!"

Letting out a resounding roar, the dargon hurled a small car sized rock at him. Using his mind, he controlled the mech suit. Sidestepping the big boulder.

Not stopping, the dargon threw some more rocks. All to which kyle dodged with ease, the mech suit constantly letting out steam from the non-stop movement.

’Guess I’m taking the fight to him.’ Not waiting around anymore, he ran towards the beast location.

’bam! Bam!’

Multiple bang sounds were heard, as the mech suit feet collided with the ground. Making some big sized foot imprints.

Enraged the dargon also switched from defense to offense. Meeting with kyle at the center.

’It dodged.’ Kyle’s eye slightly widened seeing the dargon dodge his fist.

Yes the mech suit was made of linder metal, which was heavy. Yet durable, it didn’t hinder the mech suit agility much. Which was surprising as they were plain courier mechs not designed for combat.

Opening it’s mouth wide, the dargon bit into the mexh arm. Specifically where the joint connecting the elbow was. Dealing somewhat damage to it.

[I wouldn’t be so cocky if i were you. Not only is that dargon in it’s berserker state but also close to death.] Snow softly uttered, making kyle raise a brow.

’Berserker state as in last stand where it consumes it’s core for an exponential growth?’

He had some idea what the term berserker state term meant. Not being a novice to fantasy books.

[Exactly.. it’s the last trump card of every malicious beast. Granting an unexplainable increase in power, at the cost of rapidly burning out their core/lifeforce.]

"Not good." Kyle gritted his teeth.

If what snow said was true, then he had to end this fight quick before the beast burned through it’s core.

Slamming his hand to a black crate, he applied force. Putting more efforts as he scratched the dargon’s cheek against the crate. Whilst the three steel pipes, pumping out hot sizzling smoke.

Adding more damage, softening the dargon’s hard scale skin.

"Growl!"

Growling in pain it attempted to claw at kyle, in the mech suit. But he was prepared, with kirlin eyes passive he could predict some of it’s movements.

Retracting his hand, he slammed his foot into the dargon. Pushing it back along with the black crate.

’Just how long can they last in berserker state?’ He wondered, watching the dargon get back to it’s feet.

As a beast with advanced strength it would no doubt be a tough fight without the mech suit. Considering his main hinderance, which was his demon energy.

But with the mech suit he matched the dargon’s stat. Even superveding it in physical stats and height.

Darting a sharp look at kyle, the beast made a run for it. Making kyle curse under his breath, knowing it’s true intentions.

[Jeez i can’t believe you were tricked by a savage beast.] Snow scoffed with a mocking scowl.

’Tsk. As if you were aware.’

[Of course i was, i just wanted to test your intuitive.]

Ignoring her he dashed across the floor. Catching up with the dargon, before it reached the second room. Not stopping he rammed into the beast like a wrecking ball.

"Gr—owl!"

With a pained growl it tried getting up from the section of the wall it had been rammed into. Green blood dripping from it’s snout and mouth, along with several disfigured bones.

"Stay down!" Kyle frowned, gripping his clenched right hand tightly. Pinning the dargon to the wall with his left.

’Boom! Boom! Boom!’

The collision of objects were visibly heard, his fist punching the dargon’s head. In beserker state, it’s thick skull was much stronger. Not easily giving out to Kyle’s fists.

Seeing no way, it sent out it’s foot directly to the small glass area. Showcasing where the pilot was stationed, in hopes to land a final blow.

’Thud!’

Other than a loud thud, no serious damage was made.

"Now you’ve done it." Kyle snarled through the speakers. His killing intent just over 50.

’Bam!’

Punching forward, a pop sound was head. The dargon’s thick skull exploding into a pulp, unable to keep up with such lethal onslaught of blows.

’Tell me it’s core is still useful.’ Kyle telephatically relayed to snow.

He didn’t know how much time had passed since the beast underwent beserker state. But snow assured him not too long, so he’d tried to do his best ending this quick.

[Fortunately for you, not much of it’s core energy was used up.] She replied, making him sogh in relief.

Turning he frowned, remembering something. "Where or how am i meant to stash all these bodies?"

The dargon’s here alone were estimated to be about 200. Not to mention the one’s littered across the kingdom floors and castle.

[Like seriously? You’re really worried about a space to store non-living items.] Snow sarcastically spoke, as if hinting at something.

"Of course! The system store~" He awkwardly chuckled, totalling forgetting about the system store.

"But I’ve never tested it with dead bio matter. Are you certain this will work?"

[Tsk.. just stretch your hand out and leave the rest to me.] Snow grumbled in an annoyed tone.

Following her instructions he watched with wide eyes as the dargon’s body floated, disappearing into thin air.

[You have successfully stored a dargon in system store!]

[Items stored: 1]

The system notifications popped up in his view, making the grin on his face widen. Moving his legs, he headed towards the exit of the building.

"Wait.. what if there’s a dargon in hiding or something? I mean, this place is literally defenseless and a prone target for attacks."

He didn’t care about the loading bay, but the teleportation pad. Deeming it extremely useful in his next course of action.

[I highly doubt that. There are no lifeforms present within a hundred mile radius from here. And that ship is literally empty so no, i wouldn’t worry about a sneak attack.]

Nodding he continued in his work, storing most dargon’s he came across into the system store.

’Luckily I’m able to store in masses thanks to snow.’

........

[Kyle~] Snow’s voice pulled his attention, about reaching the castle’s destination.

"Why do you sound so— downcast?" He questioned noticing the pale shift in her tone.

[The castle, I’m sensing a very strong prescence there.]

"Equivalent to troy’s?"

[No, much worse.] She uttered, making his heart falter a bit.

"Mom and dad!" Sprinting towards the castle, he took a massive leap. Landing just at the few steps surviving, from whatever disaster had struck it.

Arriving at the entrance, he scanned the room. Noting the severe destruction done here, much worse than the last fight.

"Impossible~" His eyes widen seeing troy’s body bafly beaten up, laying in his pool of blood.

A little not too far was lisa. Her injuries weren’t severe like troy’s, but her pulse was very faint.

’Clang! Clang!’

At the center a confrontation looked to be taking place. Moving some steps, he stopped in his tracks. Eyes twitching with a blank expression.
