Triple X System-Chapter 212: Floral paralysis

"You can count on me to watch your back." Kyle relayed with a determined face, to which Lisa nodded.

She could see a mini machine gun in his grip, which she guessed was from the mech suit.

’Was that always there?’ She thought,not recalling the installation of such. Shrugging, she felt the pressure from the bolts decrease.

Being more bearable than before, not hindering her movement speed.

’Those flames, they’re not the typical flames.’ Was the first thought which crossed her mind, gazing at the dark flames.

Not only was their colour different from the familiar deep red. But the energy they emitted was foreign, distinct from mana.

Pushing her legs she advanced forward, moving through the lesser blast of lightning. Unsure what those flames were, they no doubt we’re having an effect on the beast.

Passing through it’s lightning barrier, striking it in the head. Engulfed in black and red flames.

"Argh! W—what the hell is this!?" The dargon groaned in pain, it’s head in flames.

’Even with dark flames it’s still standing.’

There was no immediate burning or melting process, showcasing this beast special blue skin. But he could tell it’s effects would soon kick in, the flames burning vigorously.

Keeping a hand stretched out, the bolts in the lightning blast decreased. Becoming fewer to keep up with, making Lisa hasting in her pace.

Using it’s free right hand, it clawed at it’s face. Peeling off portions of it’s skin from his head, in attempt to kill the flames.

Which was useless, only making it more vulnerable to dark flames effect.

"Now’s my chance." Lisa muttered, seeing the dargon occupied with Kyle’s flames.

Creating a single vine it worked below it worked. Coiling itself like a ring, shooting upwards. Propelling her a bit in the air, the wooden shield giving out against the lightning bolts.

"Mhm!" A sharp grunt escaped her mouth, instantly assaulted by the various blue lightning bolts surrounding the dargon.

Eating away at her bark like armour, breaking portions of in seconds.

’Bang! Bang! Bang!’

Multiple gunshot sounds erupted, along with a torrent of blue energy bullets. Barraging the dargon’s head from the side.

’Why does it feel like I’m having a thing for energy guns.’ Kyle smiled, lightly shaking his head.

"I’ll just have to support her till he gains consciousness." He was well aware of the dargon’s threat, so going against it would be suicide.

And as much resent he has towards troy, he didn’t outright admit it. But if there was anyone who could kill this beast, it was him.

Flashing a cold glare at Kyle, it attempted to raise it’s feet but failed. Feeling it glued to the ground by none other than a green sticky substance. 𝓯𝙧𝙚𝒆𝙬𝙚𝒃𝙣𝙤𝒗𝓮𝓵.𝙘𝙤𝙢

"Stop being a pain in the ass and accept your death!" Falcon grinned, with a sadistic smile.

Her two knees planted to the floor, a hole bigger than the dargon’s fist made to her guts.

"Falcon, you shouldn’t -"

"No! It’s alright, I’ve been through worse." A weak smile formed to her lips, but Kyle could tell she was lying.

’Zap! Zap~’

Up ahead, the lightning bolts moved non-stop. Swiftly aimed at lisa, now with only protection in her vital organs. Loosing a huge part of the wood armour.

Not stopping in his barrage of energy bullets, Kyle was clueless why lisa wanted to get close to the beast. Which was a bad idea, but he trusted her intention.

"Haha! Puny human. You’ve fallen into my trap, now there’s nowhere to run." The dargon spoke with a deep gruttal voice.

Directing all the lightning bolts upwards at her.

"I’ve told you beast, don’t underestimate me!?" Lisa yelled with a high pitched tone. Three lines running at the forefront of her temple.

Like a flash, the converged lightning bolts were released. Shooting with such intensity, electrifying the molecules in the air. Simultaneously lisa’s body glowed a bright white light.

Dissolving into pieces of multicolored clover flowers, going past the dargon’s lightning. Attaching to it’s body like magnet.

[So that’s what she was planning all along.] Snow uttered, with a hint of surprise in her tone.

’What?’ Kyle asked confused.

He was aware whatever ability Lisa contained was related to plants. Which be had no knowledge about, their users often depicted as weak and useless.

Obtaining such a trash ability.

’I get that she uses plant manipulation ability, but why do I have the feeling you’re not done.’ Kyle telepathically spoke, sensing there was more information snow had.

[She isn’t just a plant ability user but one with nature. Meaning she can manipulate or generate anything botanical based. Wilder entire fields, surge the formation cycle of crops, redirecting energy from plants to herself. Technically having nature in her palm, manipulating it the stronger she gets.] Snow explained.

’If I’m listening to you correctly, you’re saying her ability is not just strong. But capable of wiping out and creating literally any botanical populated environment?’ He asked, to which snow replied with an immediate "yes."

’Well that changed everything." If what snow meant about Lisa was true, it altered the fact about people with plant manipulation abilities.

Having a significant impact on not only a population, but the entire planet geo cycle as a whole.

"I knew humans were corrupted cheats, but this is starting to make me angry. And you don’t wanna see me angry." The dargon snarled, dismissing it’s lightning blast. Clawing away at it’s body, in attempt to get the flowers off.

’They’re feeding off it’s life force just like fatal attraction.’

At first glance, Lisa transformation into flowers seemed like an evasive skill. To dodge the lightning blast, but now, they’d bonded with it’s skin.

Vividly sucking the energy from the beast, draining it’s pool dry.

Struggling, the beast shot out wild blue bolts of lightning. Flying all over the castle, in a feat of rage. Destroying the unlucky objects it came in contact with.

Making Kyle to duck down, shielding falcon who’d passed out from her injuries.

"I’m sorry you had to go through this." He softly uttered, his breath slightly shaky.

She wasn’t dead, at least not yet. Maybe in a few minutes, maximum of 5. If she didn’t receive advanced medical healthcare.

[You didn’t promise her a safe life when she made the offer. And she already knew what she signed up for.] Snow spoke in a neutral tone.

It was true snow spilled the truth, but he couldn’t help but feel slightly guilty. Being just 16 years of age, having undergone a lot.

[Look Kyle! It’s working, she’s actually weakening it.] Snow excitedly cheered, causing Kyle to raise his head.

’She’s really doing it.’ A light chuckle escaped his mouth, watching the dargon submit to it’s knees.

The blue lightning surrounding it gone, along with the one’s holding the cage. Causing it to come crashing down on the beast, impaling and trapping it.

While Lisa continued her work, feeding off the dargon health like a leech. The previous small flowers encircling the dargon below.

’Phew~ thank goodness.’ He sighed in relief, knowing it was almost over.

With the elapse of the 7 minutes almost at hand. The blue glow etched to the dargon’s scale like skin fading, rapidly loosing it’s colour.

While it bled, from the special wooden spike cage encasing it. Piercing it’s upper body, pinning it in an execution position.

’She refrained from it’s head, which means she isn’t also immune to dark flames effects.’

Having dodged lightning, he was curious if Lisa in this flower form could withstand dark flames. But it was certain she was wary of it.

’With the dargon vulnerable by lisa’s skill, it didn’t matter. Softening it’s impenetrable skin, for dark flames effect.

"At this rate it wouldn’t be long until-" His words stuck in his throat, sensing the abrupt change in the air.

Making a frown form to his face, coming from the dargon’s location.

"If I’m going down I’m taking you all with me!" The beast yelled, regaining consciousness. It’s aura bursting out like a bomb, rattling the cage.

"Stay down you piece of shit!" Kyle roared, his eyes glowing red. Firing off the mini machine gun energy bullets.

"It’s working ~" Stunned for a moment, Kyle’s influence skill seemed to be having an effect on the dargon.

Which unfortunately didn’t last for long.

"Stay away from my head demon!" It yelled, thrashing around.

Grabbing the wooden bars, his muscles ripped more. Sparks of lightning emitting from it’s body. Sensing the change, Lisa in her transformed flower state clung tighter to the dargon.

Trying to subdue it with her floral paralysis effect, which failed. Being overwhelmed by the beast dominating power difference.
