Triple X System-Chapter 233: A Sick Game
Maintaining his calm expression, Kyle lowered his head. Faint sounds escaping his lips, trying his best to hold in the urge not to burst out in laughter.
[I didn’t know you were quite the hot shot here?] Snow teased, mocking the people of Lumia kingdom.
’I’m just as bewildered as you.’ Kyle joked with a light scoff. Clearing all the positive thoughts in his head, he formed a straight face.
Scowling with a deep frown, his brows scrunched together. Making it look like he was truly pissed, and wanted to slaughter them all right now.
"No kidding, he’s truly trying to kill us!" Lyra shrieked, her cheeks flushed red. While her legs didn’t stop shaking, from fear and the thrill of being killed by Kyle.
’W-what the hell is wrong with this pervert!’ Blina’s eye twitched in compressed rage, unfortunately being the closest to her. Watching Lyra squirm in terror and delight.
It was a shameful and embarrassing act no doubt, but the big chested woman could care less. Deliberately acting helpless and pitiful, making the scene more lewd.
"Luckily everyone’s too scared to notice." A light sigh escaped blina’s mouth. Grateful for the distraction provided from Kyle’s presence.
In steering away the attention of the crowd, from her depraved younger sister.
Slightly chuckling, Kyle was amused by the level of fear clouding their eyes. ’Who knew winning a rigged death game could be this beneficial.’
From the moment he came in contact with Troy, Kyle knew the chances of keeping a low profile and growing stronger dissipated into clouds of smoke. But what he didn’t anticipate was to be immediately fixed in a twisted tournament.
Held annually like a sports for humans, instead of animals. Just like the horror and gore filled human survival sport games movies he watched back on earth.
Giggling; [Good job Kyle, it’s recommended to take time off from reality occasionally and have fun. Not only does it clear the mind, but also helps in stimulating a faster and better reasoning power.] Snow spoke, loving every bit of the cowardly fright plastered in their eyes.
Stretching his right hand, he mumbled some inaudible gibberish. Slowly releasing his aura, to make it look like he was actually activating a skill.
’What’s he doing now?’ Layla silently thought, her energy sword already unsheathed the moment Kyle stepped foot here.
Just like her, all the rest space guards were aware of his identity. Winning the 54th annual hunger games tournament wasn’t just an identity exposure, but a target marker.
Placing a keen tab on him, as one of the very few potential threats plaguing the kingdom. Requiring high level of security and surveillance, watching his every move.
"Something’s not right~" Lucia’s spoke under his breath.
He couldn’t quite place his finger on it, but Kyle’s movement seemed strange to him. Not fluid but planned, like this whole thing was just staged seconds ago.
Recollecting Kyle’s fight scenes and journey in the hunger games, Lucias learnt one thing. If the former actually made up his mind on something he acted immediately, without a hint of doubt or rethink.
Example was during his encounter with the first shadow bat. "He was injured beyond treatment and drained of blood yet still managed to miraculously survival. And also killed the shadow bat, an apex beast of it’s kind with that blue katana."
Another was when he openly challenged the king and so one, defying all the odds stacked against him. But now he was complacent with a hesistant stance.
"Lucias, what are you orders?" Layla pulled his mind out of the clouds. Lowering his head a bit, he clenched his teeth tightly together.
"The rule states we’re not allowed to engage in the decision concerning residents of the kingdom. And as the victor of the game, he’s automatically a citizen of this land." Lucias blurted out, making not only layla’s face go pale.
But everyone in the room, including Kyle receiving the surprise of his life. ’Did he just say I’m recognized as a citizen here?’
He replayed Lucias words in his head, just to be certain he wasn’t hearing things.
[Yes, apparently winning the tournament translates to your unofficial inauguration as part of this deranged establishment.] Snow praised, her tone laced with sarcasm.
"This just keeps getting better and better ~" Kyle grinned, getting the green card to explot these attacked individuals more.
"But." Lucias continued, apparently not done. "If we feel the need of the emergence of a possible threat to the kingdom. Irrespective of gender, race or nativity, the rules don’t apply."
His tone became dark, a spark of flame reigniting his lost flame. The weighing beam blaster pointed at kyle, his hand fixated to the trigger button. Following suit all the rest space guards aimed their weapons at Kyle.
"H-he’s surrounded and outnumbered, hehe~ There’s no way he’s escaping here alive." Someone from the crowd yelled, with newfound hope.
"Yeah! The tables have turned you freak!" Another added, with puffed chest.
"I-i don’t think we should be making him more upset." A timid slim boy interjected, shaking in his boots.
"Don’t tell me you’re scared of a common peasant. Come on, you’re a noble for crying out light. It’s a disgrace to the royal lineage, punishable by death." An average man with brown hair reaching his shoulder length threatened in a deep voice.
Stirring up the younger man’s consternation into more discomposure.
"Big talk coming from a guy who’s about to die." A figure blurred past them, prompting a swooshing sound from the sharp wind.
Making a small cut to the matured man’s cheek, drawing out fresh blood.
’H-he’s behind me, when did he get behind me!?’ The man panicked, his prideful and confident ego melting into disbelief and horror.
"Shit, how did he get there so fast." Lucias cursed under his breath, unknown to him when Kyle moved from spot.
’Impossible.. My eyes were fixed on him the whole time, but I couldn’t even keep up with his movement?’ Layla impeached her vision, completely loosing track of Kyle for a brief moment.
"I-is it just me, or has he gotten stronger?" Brazen questioned with a look of stupefaction.
"You’re not wrong, his speed has certainly improved greatly than the last time he was present at the tournament." Melo voiced out his opinion, sharing in the bulky man’s idea.
"Wow~ I didn’t think you’d be able to figure it out, giggles! Seems like you’re not all brains without brains." Lyra let slip from her flushed mouth, drooling with her own saliva.
"I-is she okay?" Melo asked with concern, watching Lyra sweating profusely.
Awkwardly chuckling, Blina dealt a hot slap across Lyra’s face. Smacking her back down into reality.
"Hey what the hell was that for!?"
"Oh let’s see~ nothing much except your demented taste in villains!" Blina shot back with a wicked glare.
Stomping her foot, it caused her two big melons to shake from the force. Granting the view to few males present in the crowd around her.
"Incredible!"
"Such firmness on motion, truly a sight to behold!"
"The two great peaks of civilization."
They praised her two milky cannons, further enraging the petite beauty. Delivering hot back hand slaps to the men that’d complimented in a row.
"Hmph! You’re just jealous because you’re boring and insecure." Lyra scoffed, slightly lowering her head bringing her tongue out.
"A-are you kidding me? We’re about to be killed and this is what they do?" Brazen stuttered, unsure what to place of this scene.
"It’s probably the cause of a new disease contagious to women-" He whispered, pausing a bit sighting Fiona.
"No hard feelings."
"None taken." The calm beauty replied, uninterested in their little skepticism. Her eyes lingering on Kyle now holding a hostage, the matured man with brown hair.
"P-please I don’t want to die, I was simply joking. Making a satire of the situation to ease the room." Xeblo pleaded, his blood running cold under Kyle’s grasp.
Which was cold like ice, from the underworld reaching towards his soul.
Inwardly chuckling, Kyle mentained the same deadpan expression he wore earlier. Adding more dread into their fluctuating heartbeats, rising and falling.
"Oh, so you can beg. For a moment I was afraid I might’ve scared you to becoming mute." His eyes were now glowing red, snickering like an evil entity from hell.
Causing the familiar yellow liquid to eject down his pants, staining the floor as the man wet himself.
"Damnit! I can’t get a shot without risking the safety of the civilian." Lucias silently cursed, hesistant to take the shot like a conflicted soldier.
"Since you’re all aware of my identity and what I’ve done to reach her. Why don’t we all play a game?" Kyle pitched, further confusing the crowd.
"A game? What sort of sick game is he talking about?"
"Does he actually mean the recreation of the hunger games tournament!?" Another gasped.
"No~ that would be insane, we wouldn’t survive."
"Somebody save me, I’m too young to die!" A pregnant woman yelled, screaming for help. Making the grin on Kyle’s face widen, dark flames materializing in both his palms.
