Triple X System-Chapter 237: Reward: Death!
With a composed stance, Reze stayed true to her motive. Sending out a message to the crowd, dumbfounded by what she meant.
"She’s dead!" Lyra shouted with a dramatic act, placing her hand over her head.
It didn’t go unnoticed attracting hateful glares, and awkward expressions from the people surrounding her.
’I don’t deserve this~’ Blina sided her face from Lyra, taking some steps back.
Considering the fact she was older than Lyra, and was a part of her burthed. She’d have considered her mother cheated on their father with a surrogate.
"Completely burnt to a crisp by that-" Lyra paused, her cheeks flaring red. "Hot monster."
"Hot monster?" Fiona darted a cold gaze at Blina, making her scoff. Unfazed by the beautiful woman’s threatening eyes.
"Yes. Hot referring to his ability, and those flames. He’s a flame ability user no doubt." Lyra pouted, crossing her arms against her plump marshmallows.
"Nice save." Melo whispered, prompting her to stomp her leg with a light huff. Averting her gaze from the group. 𝒇𝓻𝓮𝓮𝙬𝙚𝒃𝒏𝓸𝙫𝒆𝙡.𝓬𝓸𝒎
.....
"S-so what happens now?" Layla inquired, awaiting lucias for his next command. Being the squadron leader of the 5th division, comprising of about a dozen individuals.
"I-i’m not sure." Lucias uttered without clarity, tightly gripping his beam blaster.
There was a bewildered look lingering in his eyes, hesistant on the next course of action.
’We can’t beat him, he’s too strong.’ Lucias gritted his teeth, accepting the bitter truth.
Comparing stats, they were nowhere near Kyle’s level. He literally defied the odds going to to toe with Troy once, and he did it again. Humbling a proud scientist, whose condition is unknown.
Sure they outnumbered him, but it was a matter of how long until they ran out of energy. From the little storage, after the fight against the dargons.
’Clang!’
An object fell to the floor, pulling everyone’s attention towards reze location. A piece of her chest plate has fallen to the ground, followed by several other parts of the black armour.
Effortlessly falling to the ground with a dry thud, shedding it’s layers bit by bit. The single dark blue mana stone, previously hidden in the armour chest plate now on display.
It’s enchanting ethereal glow fading, loosing the energy within it from the several cracks encompassing it. Falling to the floor with a soft motion, like trinkets of pieces of glass.
Revealing the figure of a well endowed woman. Dressed in a black fitting dress, with a white lab coat barely reaching her knees.
"You’re alive. Now I’m truly jealous of that elite armour you had on. Too bad it’s destroyed." Kyle initiated a conversation.
Slightly chuckling, Reze brushed some strands of her hair back. "I’m flattered you appreciate my work. But that is just a prototype, there are dozens of those."
Not responding, a wide smile formed to his face. ’D-did she just say she has dozens of those.’
It was a headache dealing with one of that black armour with his low demon energy. And he could tell Reze hadn’t revealed all the perks of the black suit, which was a considerable factor.
But, he wasn’t a hundred percent and his stamina was nearing empty. So it was more of an impromptu matchup, than a full out battle.
"If you keep flattering me, I just might be tempted to rob you." Kyle smiled, tilting his head to the side a bit. Avoiding a blue energy bullet making it’s way for his head.
"Damnit, hold fire! I repeat seize fire!" Reze cursed, signalling the space guards to halt in their attack.
"It’s not from us." Lucias stuttered, seeing all the guards at ease. Their weapons lowered down, which begged the question who was the individual letting it rip.
"Quick! Locate the attacker stop them!" Lucia’s commanded earning a vigorous nod from the space guards.
"I’ve got you now." A light smirk formed on Layla’s face, inching closer to her target.
’What the?’ Her smile quickly faded with the abrupt change in position. Now opposite her location at the other end.
"Just like I suspected, there are more than just one accomplices." A deep frown crept to lucias face, noting this was going to be a tough task. Judging from how well coordinated these group are.
"Great, just when I begin having a normal conversation I get interrupted." The smile on Kyle’s face shifted, contorting into grimace.
[You’re welcome.] Snow relayed already read his thoughts, the location of all the shooters pinpointed with blue marks.
’Swoosh! Swoosh!’
Kicking his legs fast, Reze wondered what he planned. Learning the hard way this was no ordinary person to mess with, his every actions unorthodox but effective nevertheless.
"Bam! Ahh!" A scream followed from the crowd, exactly 2 seconds after Kyle kicked dust. Repeating the same action, couple more of screams erupted from the crowd.
Along with the sounds of bodies dropping to the ground with a light thud.
’No way, how’s this even possible!?’ Reze eyes widened, finally figuring out what Kyle was doing.
Kicking the dust from the few derbies littered on the ground, it made it look like he was setting up a cover from the blasts. When in reality he was attacking, with the little stones clung to his feet when he kicked.
And while this was strategic, there was still the problem of angle ratio and successful trajectory displacement. Replying a series of complex calculations without a machine, great concentration and several other factors.
These and many more which made it look really easy.
"This is bad." Xeblo gritted his teeth, receding back in his steps.
Just like the other rebellions, he was in possession of an energy handgun. Illegally acquired utilizing his status and wealth to cut a few deals. Coming in handy for protection and what not?
"S-stay behind us, we’ll protect you." A burly man gestured, stepping in xeblo’s front. Taking the impact of the kick shot, still standing strong with a light cut made on his forehead.
"All those lavish spending did pay off afterall." Xeblo snickered with a smug smirk seeing he wasn’t alone in his quest. And he apparently had a little fan base shielding him from harm’s way.
’So that’s how they want to play it. Very well.’ Tensing his legs, the veins in his lower region pulsed, practically beating with each breath.
’Bang!’
A loud gunshot sound went off as Kyle furiously kicked the ground. Not holding back in the slightest, gaining a loud scream of agony.
’T-the stone cut through the burly man’s left arm, severing it away from the socket. Blood gushing out from the amputated arm, the once confident man now wallowing in crucial agony.
Not stopping, Kyle moved his legs fast shooting the stones like bullets. Rampaging on the group protecting Xeblo, leaving them brutally beaten up with few broken bones.
"I’m going to be extra cruel since you wasted my time by cowarding behind a group of conflicted souls." Kyle warned, his face straight and serious.
Gulping, Xeblo made a run for it feeling his life at stake.
’Too late.’
Arching his leg back, Kyle added every bit of strength he could muster into his right leg. Dragging it just slightly above the ground, coming in contact with a much bigger stone than the rest he’d been using.
’Boom!’
This time it wasn’t a gunshot sound, but more of a small explosion resonate. The stone flying with deadly intent, curving around the crowd. Directly meeting Xeblo to his head region.
"I’m screwed." His pupils dilated a bit watching his death approach him if that attack connected with his skull.
Unable to block or dodge in time he shut his eyes, awaiting the cold arms of death to embrace him. Which never came.
"Now now, it’s not nice to have this much fun without me." A voice muttered, intercepting the attack with ease. Crushing it under his palm.
"Y-your majesty." Xeblo stuttered with a blank expression, just about 3 meters from the undying king.
Covered in severe life threatening injuries from head to toe, calmly standing with a light smile. Falling to his knees, Xeblo humbly planted his head to the ground. Worshipping Troy like a god, along with everyone present in the room.
Making an exception of Reze simply gesturing a slight bow. And the defiant demon, spitting in disgust from troy’s presence.
"Y-your majesty, forgive my intrusion but that thing right there threatened to dethrone you and wreck havoc to the kingdom." Xeblo uttered with a wicked grin, his confidence booming beyond sky level.
’Hehe~ He’s totally dead now.’ Xeblo lips pursed into a wide gloating smile.
"The space guards were useless against his physical powers, and Miss Reze tried to stop him but failed miserable. I, along with my few delegates managed to valiantly hold him on till your arrival. My king." Xeblo bowed, receiving death stares from the crowd, all to which he ignored.
"Is that so~" Troy lightly replied, his gaze shifting to the weapon besides Xeblo.
"Does that gun belong to you?" He calmly asked, making xeblo’s heart sink. Gritting his teeth, the latter decided to come out honestly.
Certainly not gonna be able to fabricate a lie.
"I-it is, but trust my your highness.. It’s was for preparation leading up to this."
Letting out a light sigh, Troy lifted his head to the ceiling. A pop sound following shortly after, with pieces of brain juice splattering to the ground.
Xeblo’s lifeless body dropped dead, Troy watching with an indifferent expression.
"Xeblo furugatsz~ As reward for possession of an illegal firearm, and false accusation of your fellow comrades. I award you with death." Troy declared with a cold tone.
