Warm Married Life: Mr. President Loves His Darling Wife-Chapter 108 - 107: Blocking Her Shot
Sharon Cheney and Elaine Vaughn exchanged a smile, saying nothing more, and both turned their gaze to the filming over there.
The crew was all set, with the lighting technician and sound engineer poised with their equipment, waiting for the two of them.
Bella Acker and Vivian Norris stood in their designated spots, each with two young maids standing behind them.
Coincidentally, Farah Garner was playing Bella Acker’s maid.
Seeing Bella Acker standing in front, Farah Garner gritted her teeth in hatred.
Vivian Norris smiled and said, "Bella, are you nervous?"
Bella Acker nodded, "A little bit."
"Don’t be afraid. You’re a great actress. Just act from your heart," Vivian Norris said. "Watching you act earlier, I couldn’t believe you’re not classically trained."
"No, it’s because of Ms. Flynn and Vivi’s guidance," Bella Acker modestly smiled without pride.
A cold gleam flashed quickly through Vivian Norris’s eyes, as Director Ford picked up the loudspeaker, "Attention everyone, Scene 3 of Act 1, action!"
The filming began, and Vivian Norris’s expression swiftly changed.
Hera, played by Bella Acker, took Luna’s hand, played by Vivian Norris, with gentle patience and said softly, "Tomorrow you’ll enter the palace. Once there, you mustn’t be so playful, lest you offend the nobles in the palace. Understand?"
"With you around, I won’t worry," Hera replied, wrapping her arm around Luna’s, resting her head on her shoulder coyly, "You’ll take care of me, won’t you, sister?"
"You, you’re already sixteen and still act like a child," Luna gently pinched Hera’s cheek, her eyes full of affection.
The two sisters truly shared a strong bond. Luna doted on Hera, and Hera completely depended on her sister.
"Cut!" Both performed well, but Director Ford suddenly called a stop, standing up with a stern face, "That one over there, there’s a marker on the ground and you still don’t know how to position yourself, are you blind! Walking like that, you blocked Hera’s entire shot, and now we have to reshoot it!"
Bella Acker didn’t know why during the filming, but Director Ford, watching from the monitor, noticed the maid behind blocking Bella’s shot by deliberately taking larger steps as they walked down the corridor.
In a regular program shoot, it might be okay, but not here in a movie, where a missed shot means a retake.
Farah Garner, trying to cause trouble for Bella Acker, used such a clumsy method, provoking the director’s wrath – her brains weren’t quite working properly.
Vivian Norris shot a discreet glance at Farah Garner, forming her own thoughts.
Bella Acker saw Farah Garner, scolded to the point she couldn’t lift her head, seemingly teary-eyed in grievance, and with a turn of thought, she stepped up as if to plead, "Director Ford, I’m sorry, I took smaller steps. It’s not Fanny’s fault, she must have done it unintentionally."
Farah Garner, hearing this, glared at Bella Acker, "I don’t need your phony intercession!"
Bella Acker was momentarily stunned by the outburst, and after realizing, she looked a bit awkward, murmuring, "Fanny, I wasn’t..."
Director Ford glanced at Bella Acker, a bit impatient, and sat back behind the monitor, "Again, Scene 3 of Act 1, Second Take, action!"
This time, the shoot went smoothly.
Even though Farah Garner was seething inside, she didn’t dare openly cause trouble for Bella Acker again.
