Warm Married Life: Mr. President Loves His Darling Wife-Chapter 110 - 109: Suffering in Silence
Before Bella could speak, Sharon already started, "No matter what grievances you have with Bella in private, you’re filming now, and you shouldn’t bring personal emotions into work. And you can’t bully her again and again just because Bella has a soft personality."
Sharon’s words carried more weight than a newcomer like Farah Garner. Plus, she usually had a good temper, focusing on self-discipline, and rarely lost her temper like now.
"Ms. Cheney." Bella felt a bit guilty. She could deceive Farah, but she didn’t want to upset someone who genuinely cared about her.
Sharon patted Bella, signaling her to remain silent.
Farah was at a loss for words after being scolded, her face flushed, not wanting to stay in this place for even a minute longer.
Director Ford’s expression was also stern, his impatience evident, "You’re here to shoot a movie, not to cause trouble. If anyone doesn’t want to work, they can say so early, and I’ll fulfill her wish! Everyone take a ten-minute break!"
Director Ford was always in a bad temper during filming, making everyone in the crew nervous under his scolding. No staff dared to rest and kept their heads down, busy with their tasks.
Farah’s eyes reddened from the scolding and she turned around and ran off.
Director Ford didn’t bother with her, nor did he ask anyone to chase her, as he went back to review the previously shot scenes.
Sharon patted Bella’s hand and said, "Let’s go, take a break for a while."
"Ms. Cheney, Farah is Phoebe’s friend, I’m worried..."
"Don’t worry. I might not be famous among fans now, but I still have some status in the industry; Phoebe won’t dare do anything to me."
Hearing her words, Bella finally felt a bit relieved, "Ms. Cheney, thank you." After all, not everyone would stand up to help her in such a situation.
Sharon smiled and whispered, "Since you want to give her a lesson, I’m naturally willing to help you. Let’s go, have some hot water to warm up."
"Ms. Cheney, I want to go to the restroom first." Bella smiled a little embarrassedly.
"Go ahead. It’s not your scene for a while, no need to rush."
Bella nodded, asked the staff for the location of the restroom, and then went by herself.
The newly constructed temporary restroom was empty. After finishing her business, as Bella was washing her hands, someone approached from behind.
Farah, with a sullen face, said, "Bella, you deliberately fell to frame me, didn’t you?"
Suddenly someone approached from behind, making Bella tense for a moment but she soon calmed down, "I don’t understand what you’re talking about. I’ve already explained to Director Ford that I tripped because I lost my balance, it had nothing to do with anyone else."
"Stop pretending to be innocent! Do you think I can’t see through your schemes?" Farah snapped, "Trying to kick me out of the crew, let me tell you Bella, you’re dreaming!"
"First, ever since we met, it’s always been you troubling me. Second, I just want to film well, I’ve never thought of kicking anyone out of the crew, and I don’t have that power." Bella said, suddenly leaning close to Farah’s ear and whispered with an icy tone, "But if you keep causing trouble for me, you’ll definitely find more trouble than I do."
She deliberately lowered her tone, and her words surprisingly carried a hint of chill.
Farah listened, momentarily stunned. By the time she came to her senses to retort, she turned around to find Bella already gone.
"Damn it!" Farah stomped her foot in anger and quickly pulled out her phone, which had been recording.
