Chapter 28: OP Awakening: Pillar of Voracity

As the battle continued, the finger of Lucien’s dead body twitched for a second.

For some reason, he could sense what was happening outside. He wanted to call out Seraphina’s name, but he was helpless.

Ding!

[Awakening of the Throneheart Seed complete. Covenanted Throne has blossomed.]

Lucien was surprised when a familiar throne appeared in the void where he floated.

"Hollow Throne," he unconsciously muttered.

He looked at it and realized the gift the Hollow Throne had left for him.

In that instant, Lucien’s body underwent numerous changes. No Originat was absorbed; the system concealed it all from outside sight.

Lucien’s heart beat faster every second. His blood pumped faster, circulated faster. All of his organs began to work at intense speed.

ROAR!

A domineering dragon roar resounded but was concealed by the system, keeping it from dispersing to the outside world.

His breath became deep as water and sharp as metal. His aura began to increase.

His soul shook in excitement. He wondered how strong he would be when he awakens.

Lucien’s soul felt sleepy, as he sank into darkness.

"Seraphina..."

ROAR!

A draconic roar tore through the flames, and out of the inferno, a draconic creature emerged.

She was neither pure dragon nor pure phoenix – she was both. Scales the color of molten ruby covered her body, each one edged with feathers of golden flame that flickered without burning. Wings of fire and scale stretched from her back, half membrane, half feather, trailing embers like falling stars. Her horns curved like a crown, burning with pale white heat. Her eyes were vertical slits, molten gold, and from her throat came the roar of a dragon and the cry of a phoenix intertwined.

A tail, long and scaled, lashed behind her, its tip a blazing torch

She let out another piercing Draconic roar that shattered the surroundings, claiming to begin the world’s destruction.

Her gaze fell on the assassin before her, who was forced to reveal his power for the fear of the death.

Black devilish energy was released from its body, its body was pale, thorns covering his body and an unknown armor covered his body.

"What are you?" The assassin questioned in surprise.

She looked like dragon but at the same time doesn’t look like one. The assassin hasn’t seen such creature.

Seraphina didn’t answer, her burning eyes on his figure

"You look like someone from the Vampire Race but you don’t smell like one."

"Well, anyhow, that doesn’t matter, the world is ending with you."

She inhaled and originat sueged towards her body.

And she exhaled.

A torrent of pale, star‑hot flame erupted, not orange or red but white as a dying sun.

It engulfed the assassin and the entire battle area.

But if one notice, within the white flame there was black flame.

Seraphina glanced at Lucien’s dead body and let out an angry roar.

From nowhere, came power. She could feel it.

But also she felt the hunger for the destruction of the world. The golden flame on her body began to change with intensity as her aura continued to increase.

A new flame appeared.

A black flame.
