"Maybe she has a point," Terry thought when he arrived in his room and sat on his bed. "Putting aside the possibility of trusting them or not, making them useful for my own convenience will help in the end."

As Terry reflected on his choices and the path he had taken, he found himself questioning whether his approach to making others useful was truly the right one. He wondered if he was on the correct path or if there was a better way to approach the situation.

He contemplated the idea of giving people a second chance to adapt to the changing circumstances. While he acknowledged that the society they had created had favored those with power, he questioned whether it was fair to solely judge someone’s worth based on their usefulness. Shouldn’t everyone have the opportunity to be valued and respected for who they are, regardless of their abilities or contributions? It felt like he was acting like the guild masters have been acting until now...

Terry fell asleep with those thoughts, and maybe because of that, he woke up the next day with a certain. Letting others influence him wasn’t his style, but the idea seemed pretty good. Besides, they need to fight another overload, and if the trolls are stronger than the fire drakes, he assumed that their leader will be stronger than the fire dragon.

"Can’t a crazy fight like that happen again... I survived by the skin of my teeth, after all," Terry thought. "I should make sure to make everyone carry their own weight and then make the mission end as quickly as possible."

Sometime later, Rebecca showed up at Terry’s room to call him to have breakfast with the others. Still, he had already left and was checking the people in the town working and making weapons.

As Terry observed the people of the town diligently crafting weapons from the bones of the defeated trolls, he couldn’t help but feel a twinge of unease. The sight of the massive troll bones being transformed into tools of war was both impressive and unsettling.

He watched as the townsfolk skillfully carved, shaped, and polished the bones, turning them into formidable weapons. The sheer size and strength of the trolls were evident in the bone structures, and Terry couldn’t deny the effectiveness of such weapons in battle.

However, as Terry reached out to touch one of the troll bones, he couldn’t shake off a sense of discomfort. The bones were cold to the touch, and their rough texture sent a shiver down his spine. He was reminded of the creatures they had faced, their regenerative abilities and ferocity etched into his memory.

Terry found a bunch of spears made of bones, but he wanted something more like a harpoon. There weren’t many of those... throwing weapons in battle was the privilege of a few, after all. Besides, only those that had extra weapons could do that... the chances of the throw causing damage were also small.

In any case, Terry bought five of them and then took them back toward the building that they were using. The others were already ready to deploy, so he ate breakfast in a hurry.

"What are those for?" Rebecca asked while pointing to the harpoons.

"To make my job easier," Terry replied. "Our goal during the morning is to hunt and kill at last three hundred trolls, so buckle up."

The other guild masters were curious about what Terry was planning, but they didn’t ask. They had heard that he was quite harsh and abrasive, so those who tried to learn too much about him always left a bad impression.

In any case, once they left the town and began to look for the trolls, the group wondered if the snowstorm never left; George explained that things had been like that since the first dungeon break.

"... Do you think that the weather conditions like this could expand endlessly until they take over the world?" Rene asked. 𝚏𝗿𝗲𝐞𝐰𝚎𝕓𝐧𝚘𝘃𝗲𝐥.𝐜𝚘𝕞

"It is possible, but it’s very likely; it has been thirty years since her portals appeared, and only these kinds of enemies began to show up," George explained. "You two-faced some monsters that could do the same, right? Do you think that they could keep growing like that endlessly?"

"I am not sure..." Rebecca scratched the back of her head. "What the dragon said, again?"

"That oversized lizard said that the fire drakes were his offspring. He probably mated with some minor dragon class or perhaps with other species," Terry explained. "They are supposed to do that according to some crazy stories."

Dragons possess a unique ability to mate with other species, a phenomenon that has intrigued and captivated many throughout history. This extraordinary capability arises from their innate magical nature and the vast power they possess.

When a dragon mates with a different species, the result is a hybrid offspring, combining the traits and characteristics of both parents. These hybrid creatures often exhibit a fascinating blend of physical and magical attributes, showcasing a wide range of abilities and appearances.

The exact nature of these hybrid offspring can vary greatly depending on the species involved and the particular traits inherited from each parent. In some cases, the hybrid offspring may inherit the majestic wings and fiery breath of their dragon parent, alongside the physical attributes and abilities of the other species. Others may exhibit a more subtle blend, manifesting traits such as enhanced strength, heightened senses, or even unique magical abilities.

In some stories, wyverns are depicted as hybrid dragons. They typically have two legs, wings, and a barbed tail, resembling a mix between a dragon and a bird. An amphithere is a mythical creature that resembles a serpent or a dragon with wings but lacks legs. It is often depicted as a hybrid between a dragon and a snake. Those were some examples of it.

"That was an image that I didn’t need... anyway, do you think that the trolls have an overlord as well that keeps increasing their numbers using similar methods?" Rebecca asked
