Before long, the enemies realized that Terry was getting stronger, faster, and tougher... and then they realized that they couldn’t win against him. It was only natural... even the scratches he was receiving weren’t bleeding any more. It was almost like Terry was a monster himself.

Despite knowing the futility of their actions, the enemies fought on, driven by a deep sense of duty and the desire to protect their base. With a resolute determination, they charged toward Terry, their hearts filled with a mix of fear and unwavering loyalty.

Their movements were marked by a grim resolve, their weapons held tightly in their grasp. The glint of determination shone in their eyes as they closed the distance, their steps resolute and unwavering. They knew the odds were stacked against them, but their sense of duty propelled them forward, pushing aside any doubts or thoughts of self-preservation.

They gritted their teeth while Terry attacked them; even when their skulls cracked, they kept their stances in order to make things as difficult as possible for him. Thanks to that, numerous spears eventually began to reach Terry and pierce his skin.

Still, before they could do any more than that, Terry grabbed one of the enemy’s bodies and made it spin around like a pole. That hit and stopped almost all of the enemies from doing anything else. That felt really nice and he kept going for a while.

As the battle wore on, the number of enemies dwindled at a rapid pace. Terry’s relentless onslaught and skillful maneuvers had taken their toll on the opposing forces, leaving them disoriented and overwhelmed. With each precise strike and calculated move, the enemies fell, their bodies littering the battlefield.

The once formidable ranks of the enemy were now reduced to a mere fraction of their original strength. The chaos and confusion that had filled the air earlier had given way to a grim silence. The remaining adversaries, witnessing the devastating display of Terry’s prowess, hesitated in their movements, their resolve waning.

Terry, though victorious, stood amidst the carnage, his chest heaving with each labored breath. The exhaustion of battle weighed heavily upon him, his muscles aching, and his body pushed to its limits. The relentless pace and intensity of the fight had drained him physically and mentally. Still, he remained resolute in his determination to see the battle through.

As the dust settled, a profound stillness settled over the battlefield. Terry stood alone, surrounded by the fallen adversaries. Their defeated bodies served as a somber testament to the power and skill he possessed. The once tumultuous battleground had transformed into a scene of desolation.

"This made me a lot stronger, but it still costs a lot of stamina... if only I could use the mana stored on the armor to enhance my body," Terry thought. "I guess I will have to buy some skill books for that."

Once Terry rested enough, he began to collect the loot... he should have brought some of the guild members to get the magic stones. That took hours... when Terry finished, the sun was already rising.

Just when he thought about leaving, though, Terry noticed that the enemies had a warehouse nearby. He decided to check it and found a bunch of food, drinks, and even rare metals... Terry wondered where they found things like gold. They also had a bunch of weapons that didn’t seem to be made of Greysteel. Some skill books were there as well, but none of them would be useful to him.

"I won’t have the chance to return here, so I should grab as much as I can..." Terry thought. "Working solo has its perks, but it also has its demerits. Let’s see, I guess I will stay on guard duty and let the elite teams try to clear a dungeon by themselves; it should be possible with their numbers and weapons."

It was another risky move, but it was necessary. As Terry returned to the city, his body weary and his spirit heavy, he was met with a warm and joyous reception from his guild members. News of his triumphant solo dungeon clearance had spread like wildfire, capturing the attention and admiration of all who heard the tale.

As he stepped through the streets, the air filled with a palpable sense of anticipation and excitement. The guild members had gathered, their faces alight with smiles and eyes sparkling with pride. Cheers erupted, filling the space with a resounding chorus of congratulations and admiration.

One by one, his comrades approached him, their expressions a mix of awe and gratitude. They eagerly extended their hands, clapping him on the back and offering heartfelt words of praise. The magnitude of Terry’s feat had surpassed their expectations, leaving them in awe of his skill and determination. It seemed that they were excited enough to try to do the same themselves.

Terry rested for a full day after that; during that time, he heard reports that the portal was now leading them to a snowfield. That was weird, but Terry was expecting only weirdness from now on.

"We are doing well by ourselves, thank you very much," Rebecca said when Terry showed up at the portal to resume his guard duty. "We already found the base, so we just need to access the enemy’s strengths and weaknesses."

"I see," Terry said.

Terry wasn’t impressed because he helped them a bunch with many magic items that he had leveled up himself. So, unless they clear the dungeon again in three days, he could only assume that they were a far cry from the level of guild masters such as Vanessa.
