Chapter 100: Chapter 100: A Tooth for a Tooth

Chloe Reed watched her coolly, then suddenly turned her head toward a corner where she saw someone holding up a phone, taking pictures.

She walked straight over, her gaze sharp. "Taking my picture without my permission is a violation of my image rights. Do you want me to sue you?"

The man panicked. "I-I wasn’t taking a picture of you. I was taking one of myself."

"Oh, is that so?"

Chloe looked at him coldly. "If I see any videos online about what happened today, I’ll know you’re the one who posted them, and I will sue you. Don’t think I’m joking. I can hire an entire legal team to handle my case. I’ve got nothing but time."

She quirked her lips into a smile. "Besides, it looks like you all have plenty of free time. You should have time to get tied up in court with me, right?"

The expressions of everyone in the office changed.

The man who had been taking pictures was especially frantic. He was just an ordinary employee; how could he afford to waste time and money fighting her?

He suddenly remembered the relationship between Chloe Reed and Walker Grant.

Walker Grant had personally come to pick her up from work.

That was the President of the Grant Group!

And she had been giving him the cold shoulder, acting all disgruntled. Their relationship was clearly not ordinary!

The realization suddenly dawned on him.

He hurriedly unlocked his phone and showed it to her. "I’ll delete everything. I absolutely won’t post it. I apologize. I’m sorry."

He backed down quickly.

Seeing this, the expression of the person kneeling on the floor also changed.

Chloe’s gaze swept across the room, taking in everyone’s expression before finally landing on the girl kneeling on the floor. "Are you done kneeling? Can you move now?"

The girl’s face twisted with rage and humiliation.

She got to her feet, shot Chloe a vicious glare, and stormed off.

Chloe didn’t care in the slightest.

If someone wanted to cause trouble, she wasn’t afraid. The worst that could happen was losing this job, and she had the means to walk away. But did they?

Looking at the coffee stain on her script, her face remained impassive. She simply printed out a new copy.

Then, she bought a coffee, deliberately passed behind Sunny Reed, and, using the exact same tactic, spilled it all over Sunny’s computer.

"Oh my god, my computer!"

Sunny cried out, hurriedly grabbing tissues to wipe it down.

Chloe watched her, blinked innocently, and said, "So sorry about that. I did it on purpose."

Sunny’s head snapped toward her, her eyes wide with shock. "You..."

Faced with this side of Chloe, she was utterly speechless.

’So arrogant!’ 𝒻𝓇𝑒𝘦𝘸𝑒𝒷𝓃ℴ𝑣𝘦𝑙.𝒸ℴ𝘮

’It made her grind her teeth in fury!’

Chloe took a step closer, a chill in her eyes. "Sunny Reed, if you had just behaved and not caused trouble, I would have pretended you don’t exist. But you insisted on using these disgusting, underhanded tactics, so don’t blame me for not playing nice. If you’ve got the nerve, go ahead and provoke Walker Grant into divorcing me. Once that happens, I’ll have lost my backing, and I won’t dare to mess with you anymore, will I?"

Sunny’s body trembled slightly. She gripped the computer, her fingers digging in. She looked like she wanted to rip Chloe’s face to shreds.

Seeing how well Sunny was restraining herself, Chloe suddenly found it boring. She gave her a cool look. "You’d better try harder. If you don’t step up your game, some other woman might just steal Walker Grant away, you know."

With that, she turned and walked away to get back to work.

Sunny nearly ground her teeth to dust. She took out her phone, snapped a picture of the computer, and immediately made a post on her social feed.

The post was set to be visible only to her family.
