Primordial Chaos Dragon Tower: Harem System
Chapter 1620: Crimson Blood Demon General (3)
Call it shamelessness, but in a battle to the death, one ought to use every means necessary to emerge as the one alive.
Kent knew that, and so he went for the only play in the book that has no counter: the Ball Buster.
Seeing his death two seconds into the future and making sure it never came to pass was a wake-up call to tell Kent that the Crimson Blood Demon General wasn’t an opponent he could defeat using normal means.
Luckily, this mission wasn’t to test who was the better swordsman. The quest wanted him to kill the poor bastard, and so he would just do that. Bursting his balls was basically his way of paying back the demon for cutting his arm off.
Also, he made this decision simply to invoke the wrath of the Crimson Blood Demon General. This way, he would unleash his true power, something that Kent needed to see so he could create a good killing move.
Distancing himself further, Kent pressed his severed arm to the joint, and it healed instantly. Almost as if it had never been severed, Kent stretched his arms, making sure it had healed correctly.
Of course, even if his hand was shredded, with his healing speed now, regenerating a new arm was as simple as breathing.
"DIE!"
The Crimson Blood Demon General roared furiously, and with a sudden stomp on the ground, the 10 km radius shifted, and the world of blood and slaughter appeared.
Kent found himself standing on a scorched battlefield where broken swords, spears, bones, and all kinds of horrific things lay scattered.
Large bones and skulls littered the space, with even some massive skeletons chained to pillars, dripping with blood.
[You are under the effect of the Eternal Crimson Judgment Sword Domain. Your sword realm and sword intent have been sealed.]
"WHAT?!"
Kent sensed danger, but it was already too late. The Crimson Blood Demon General appeared before him, and before he could dodge, a sword slashed through his head, cutting him in half vertically.
The next second, Kent moved to his left just in time for a sword to land on the ground where he had stood a moment ago.
Sweat broke out on his forehead as he used the soul map to move back, hoping to distance himself from the Crimson Blood Demon General.
However, everything came crashing down when, just as he moved 3 km away, the Crimson Blood Demon General appeared overhead and unleashed a deadly sword attack.
’Looks like I cannot run from him while inside his sword domain.’ 𝚏𝕣𝐞𝗲𝐰𝕖𝐛𝐧𝕠𝕧𝚎𝚕.𝐜𝚘𝗺
Kent dodged to the left and parried a follow-up attack. Then, before he could block a third attack, a chain came from nowhere and slammed into his back, sending him flying forward.
"Six Path Blood Execution!"
Kent clearly saw it, but he had no way of evading it. Up ahead, six identical copies of the Crimson Blood Demon General appeared, each oozing a terrifying blood aura.
"First Execution: Blood Severing Slash!"
The first clone moved and unleashed a deadly attack, one that sent a powerful sword arc at Kent. He felt his body tense when the sword arc came.
With his sword intent and sword realm sealed, he had only the sword aura to rely on. Even so, he had no idea why he sensed danger.
’Maybe this has something to do with his domain.’
He brushed away the fear and summoned Chaos Scale Shield, blocking the attack. He moved to retaliate when a surge of sensation appeared behind him.
"Second Execution!" The second clone stabbed its sword into the ground instead of attacking outright. "Blood Spikes Eruption!"
Spikes shot out, stabbing toward Kent, who had to defend against some and use the Chaos Scale Shield to block the rest.
’Damn, this is an eye-opener,’ Kent said inwardly as he moved to the left, escaping the attack of the third clone.
’I have been complacent all this while. My life has been too peaceful. After this mission, I would start challenging myself again.’ A sword grazed across his body, drawing blood.
However, instead of retreating, Kent closed his eyes for a moment and recalled some painful moments of his life as Lord Genesis.
He remembered the kind of danger he had to go through just to raise his strength and improve his sword mastery. He let a pale smile form on his face, and when he opened his eyes, his demeanour changed.
His speed surged, and while his sword realm and intent remained sealed, something about him changed.
"Sword Clone Bodies," ten copies of himself appeared, and before the Crimson Blood Demon General could make sense of what had happened, he was before his main body, his sword going through his chest.
He moved back, allowing only the sword to pierce a few inches into his flesh. However, Kent didn’t mind that and tapped into a skill he learned from Inaya when they reunited after he left the Whispering Wind Sword Sect billions of years ago.
"Repeated Echo,"
The mere inches that stabbed into the Crimson Blood Demon General’s flesh echoed, and before the demon could sense a threat, a sword stabbed through his body.
This technique used the concept of time to operate. An attack could echo five times, landing on the target five times.
So, by letting a small inch of the sword pierce his body, the sword attacked five times, turning the 2 inches into ten inches.
Blood gushed out, but the Crimson Blood Demon General managed to retreat. Even so, Kent had already achieved his goal.
[I have planted the seed of resentment, Master. It would need ten minutes to bloom into a fine, resentful sword seed.]
’Good one, Gaap. While defeating this demon seems impossible, killing him is quite simple.’
The Crimson Blood Demon General sensed some form of danger, but he failed to realise that the danger wasn’t external but rather internal.
"You have proven to be a formidable opponent, Dragon. However, here is where we end things."
Kent saw thousands of swords rain down from the heavens, falling like blood meteors.
His expression was pale, and the next second, the Chaos Scale Shield activated as the sky turned even redder, waves of killing intent crashing down on him.
"Be grateful, Dragon. I have only ever used this technique once, and that was against a True God, who died, by the way. Now, die, you lizard."
"Blood Rain Thousand Pierces!"
RUMBLE
Thunder and lightning rocked the heavens as thousands of giant swords rained down, every last one aimed at Kent. The Chaos Scale Shield trembled as dozens of swords started raining down on it.
"Don’t waste your time, bug. No defense can withstand my Blood Rain Thousand Pierces." As if to prove what he was talking about, cracks started to appear inside the shield.
Seeing this, Kent smiled weakly. "Indeed, this bastard has the power to back his claim."
Too bad he had met Kent this time around. "You know what? I also want to test the true power of my defence, so why don’t we see who breaks first—your sword or my shield?"
His blood qi surged and poured into the shield, sealing the cracks in an instant. "I have always taken pride in my defense, so try to break it, and let’s see."
More swords rained down, causing the air to tremble under the weight of the attack. Kent knew that in less than 9 minutes, all of this would be over. So he stood his ground, and for 4 minutes, his shield held firmly.
But then waves of killing intent fell down on him, and all hell broke loose.
"Blood Star Annihilation."
