Easton Holmes had just walked in, completely clueless about what was happening. When he saw Thomas Fisher rushing toward him in a fluster, his first thought was that his fourth brother and his sister-in-law’s affair had been exposed.

He immediately glanced over at Benjamin Shaw, who was sitting stoically, which only reinforced Easton’s suspicions.

"Calling for your big brother won’t save you. You’ll definitely come with me later today. I’m not giving up until I turn you!" Ryan Taylor suddenly tried to scare Thomas again, just as Easton was considering what to say.

Benjamin Shaw’s face was expressionless, but Ryan Taylor’s lips were slightly curved upward. Easton was now confused; he had thought he understood the situation, but now he was muddled again.

"Turn you? Since when did you develop this interest?" Easton glanced at Thomas standing before him and walked over to Ryan. "Look at how scared you’ve made him! Be careful, you might actually scare him into it, and then he’d cling to you for life."

He took a look at Benjamin, who was sitting silently beside them, and sat down next to Ryan.

Thomas followed and sat down on Easton’s other side. Hearing what his big brother said, he immediately shook his head in refusal, "I don’t want to cling to second brother for life. Second brother should be left for future sister-in-law."

He gave his second brother a look of disdain and shook his head again.

"What kind of look is that? I haven’t even shunned you, and you’re shunning me first." Ryan pointed at Thomas in dissatisfaction, glaring at him.

"Hey, Third! Why are you sitting there acting all deep?" Easton didn’t join in the banter with his brothers but looked past Ryan to Benjamin, his stern face full of inquiry.

Is his third brother acting so dull because of the divorce with his sister-in-law? Or did he find out about her and the fourth brother? Or is it both reasons?

Upon hearing Easton speak to him, Benjamin just slightly moved his lips, "Just don’t feel like talking."

He was feeling bottled up inside, wanting only to sit quietly like this.

"If you don’t want to talk, then let’s drink."

Ryan spoke before Easton could, nudging Easton with his hand to silently tell him to stop probing.

Easton gave Ryan a knowing look and didn’t press further. He picked up the glass of wine closest to him, "Cheers!"

"Cheers!"

Ryan was the first to respond, clinking his glass with Easton’s.

Seeing this, Thomas complained, "There’s still a person sitting here."

After venting his displeasure, he stood up and poured himself another glass, then joined his brothers in clinking glasses before returning to his seat.

"Hey, Third! Join us!"

Noticing Benjamin didn’t make a move to toast with them, Ryan called out to him again, urging him to drink and have fun together.

"You guys go ahead. I’m heading out."

Benjamin suddenly placed his glass heavily on the table and, with the other three looking at him in surprise, got up and walked out of the room in big strides.

Bam!

It wasn’t until the sound of the door closing that the other three snapped out of their surprise.

"I’ll go check on Third."

"Let him be for a while."

Ryan was about to get up to check on Benjamin, but Easton quickly stopped him.
