Rebirth: Clinging to My Possessive Magnate
Chapter 948: Friendly Sparring
Sophie Wilson pursed her lips and smiled, then turned to Charles Seymour and asked, "What are you saying to people?"
"Just sparring with them," Charles replied.
"Huh?" Sophie was momentarily stunned; in the meantime, people on the training ground had already separated, their curious eyes now fixed on Charles Seymour.
It seems after their group leader explained, they found it strange why they’d let an outsider spar with them.
Charles Seymour pressed a hand on Sophie Wilson’s shoulder and said, "Watch carefully."
After saying that, he strode into the training ground.
Charles was dressed rather casually, but those casual pants were jeans, not sports pants.
Is it really convenient to move around?
He was wearing a long-sleeved T-shirt on his upper half — does it really not hinder his movements?
The group leader came over and asked Charles Seymour, "One-on-one or..."
"All together," Charles interrupted him.
The group leader was momentarily speechless; there were more than thirty people here.
All together — does he think my guys are cowards?
"This is a rare opportunity, learn well, do you hear me?" The leader turned around and lectured his men.
This bunch of brats need to be taught a lesson, but only he gets to do that.
What’s this random guy supposed to be?
He looks down on my men, what’s his deal?
Hmph, once he gets thrashed, he’ll know that underestimating others comes with a price.
Upon hearing this, the group quickly stood at attention and shouted, "Yes!"
They realized the group leader was angry.
This guy was actually letting them all attack together — looking down on them?
They must earn some respect for the group leader and teach this boastful brat a lesson.
After hearing them, the group leader knew his guys understood him; he then backed up a few steps, stood by Mia Cole, and said, "Vice President, your friend insists on taking everyone on together — should I inform the medical team to come over?"
Mia Cole didn’t even glance at him and said, "You’d better worry about your own team members." 𝕗𝕣𝐞𝐞𝘄𝐞𝚋𝚗𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗹.𝚌𝕠𝚖
"How could my team members ever..." The group leader turned his head, nearly letting slip a curse.
Is that man in the training field even human?
His team members charged forward, yet none could get close to the man.
The man’s long legs kicked out with precision and strength; to outsiders, it looked elegant and impressive, but the seasoned insider felt envy deep down.
The timing of his kicks was not too early, not too late — just perfect.
After kicking someone away, he could use the momentum to attack the next person.
His movements were fluid as water; compared to the clumsy brawling of his inexperienced disciples, he was like a legendary fighter stirring up a storm in the world, gracefully retiring into the wilderness.
This man surely retired from the martial world decades ago, yet his legend still circulates — a real legend!
This wasn’t sparring; it was one-sided instructional teaching.
The master was humoring his novice pupils.
The group leader believed that if the man wasn’t holding back, none of his guys would be standing — they’d all be laid up in the infirmary.
The group leader felt like covering his face, ashamed to look.
What had he spent so long training? A bunch of inept fools?
Why were they so useless?
But... it seems if he joined the fray, he wouldn’t fare much better either.
The group leader’s eyes suddenly brightened, quickly turning to Mia Cole and asking, "Vice President, can I join in?"
