Rebirth: Clinging to My Possessive Magnate
Chapter 949: She’s Speechless with Him
"Of course." Mia nodded as she spoke.
As soon as the team leader got Mia’s reply, he shot out there in excitement.
With such a great chance to get pointers from an expert, if he let it slip by, then he really would have a hole in his brain.
Spotting an opening, the team leader threw a punch.
Before he could even see how the man moved, his vision blurred and he was already being thrown out.
The team leader’s whole body hurt, but he kipped up in one smooth motion and charged forward again.
Expert!
Definitely an expert!
There’s no way he was letting this guy go!
Never mind just the team leader—every team member of his who could still stand was also throwing themselves at the man one after another.
They weren’t stupid. Passing up this kind of rare chance to improve would be what really made you an idiot.
Opportunities like this are rare—if you don’t jump now, then when?
——
"Why is it so noisy?" Jason put down his pen and walked to the window. Looking toward the distant training field, it seemed the commotion was coming from over there.
"Manager, there’s some expert sparring with everyone. A ton of people have gone over to get a piece of him."
"An expert?" Jason’s curiosity was piqued; he decided to go take a look.
When he got to the field, he realized the scene was way livelier than he’d imagined.
More than a dozen people were besieging a tall, straight‑backed man in the middle, and even under that kind of group attack, the guy was still completely at ease. Every move he made carried a kind of powerful beauty.
Rather than calling it sparring, it was more like this was his personal stage.
His moves were clean and sharp, without the slightest drag. Every punch landed solidly, yet there wasn’t a trace of gore. His counterattacks flowed like water, like a master freely splashing ink on paper—bold and effortless, smooth and elegant to the extreme.
Jason really had never seen anyone manage to make a fight look this beautiful.
This wasn’t some choreographed martial arts show. He could tell that none of those brats from the training camp were holding back; every one of them was going all out, rushing in trying to beat the guy down.
Too bad...they all lost, and lost miserably at that.
If this man were in the training camp, he’d absolutely be at the very top!
Jason’s eyes lit up; his love for talent was instantly stirred. If he could get this guy into the camp, that would be talent among talents!
After flooring the last person, Charles pulled back his hands. Looking at the crowd groaning on the ground, he took a few long‑legged strides toward them, as if he weren’t stepping on dirt but on a gorgeous red carpet. He was as elegant and noble as a king walking through his palace hall, showing not the slightest trace of the chaos and grime of the fight just now.
His easy grace formed a stark contrast with the few people on the ground whimpering, making everyone’s eyes stick to him, unable to look away.
Sophie’s eyes sparkled, like the Milky Way in the night sky had fallen right into them. She stared dazedly at Charles, who was walking straight toward her, and a hot blush crept over her cheeks.
"So handsome!" When Charles stopped in front of Sophie, she couldn’t help shouting excitedly, so thrilled it felt like her heart was about to leap right out of her chest.
Charles reached out his big hand and pressed it on top of Sophie’s head, rubbing it as he said, sounding completely nonchalant, "Showing off skin doesn’t make you impressive."
The excited Sophie instantly caught on to a certain someone’s meaning after hearing that line from Charles.
Sophie shot Charles a sideways glance and let out a helpless sigh.
So the reason for that ridiculously cool sparring just now was because...someone got jealous?
The guys from the training camp were just training, that’s all. So they weren’t wearing shirts—so what? He could get jealous over that too?
She really had to hand it to him!
