"You!" Meng Yunhan was furious but she did not dare to lose her temper. She needed money and if Han Yichen did not give it to her, she would have to go hungry throughout the day. She only had twenty minutes and there was no way she could cook something for herself, not to mention she was still lazy when it came to cooking. She did not want to cook anything for herself. If Han Ruochen was willing to cook breakfast for her like she used to in the past, she would have taken the lunch box with her but asking her to cook was similar to cutting her flesh off.

"That I don’t know. You can pick your shot. Either you starve or you cook. I am not going to give you any money. Or you can ask Ziyan to give you some money anyway. If you spent more than a hundred yuan on her last night, she must be willing to give you ten yuan for lunch, right?" Han Yichen was also fixated; his mother was right. Seeing this, Meng Yunhan was really angry. She really wanted to chase after the man but she knew that there was no point in doing so. She pursed her lips, looking a bit reluctant before turning around on her feet and going to look for Han Ruochen.

Han Ruochen had just woken up and wanted to take a bath but before she could even enter the bathroom, she was intercepted by Meng Yunhan. Being woken up by the face of her furious mother was not something that Han Ruochen had expected. She frowned and looked at her mother in confusion. "What do you want, Mom?" Han Ruochen knew that the woman wouldn’t come looking for her if she had nothing to ask her.

"You sure know how to enjoy a good night’s sleep." when Meng Yunhan saw how good Han Ruochen looked despite being woken up, she felt annoyed and frustrated. Why was this woman so good-looking? Why did Han Ziyan not follow her in terms of looks and inherit the genes of her father? If she looked like her, then she would have been just as good-looking as Han Ruochen.

She had just been scolded by her husband; if Han Ruochen went to look for him and said that she was asking money from Han Ruochen, then her husband would scold her even more severely. The one who stretched herself to her limit to coax Han Ziyan was her mother. You did not spend a penny on me and instead you even gave my dowry to your cousin without even considering how I will get married. In fact, you wanted me to get married to an old man just because he was willing to pay you a thousand yuan. You only think about Ziyan and only want to take care of her. I have nothing against that; you were not there for me when I needed you and I don’t need you anymore. But don’t expect me to clean up your mess. This is something that I cannot do!" Han Ruochen stated her stance clearly, as she did not want her mother to be under the misunderstanding that she could bully her like she used to do in the past.
