Point-of-View: Ilex Sarralot

"Nice work distracting him, that gave me a nice, wide opening to exploit," Remarked Lucifer as she gave me a thumbs up.

"Uh, s-sure, don’t mention it...but I highly doubt that was enough to finish him off, s-so keep your guard up," I replied, before he suddenly emerged from the rubble of the building he’d crashed onto, right on cue.

"You’ll pay for that, damn it...I’ll wipe that cocky look right off your face, Lucifer!" He snarled, before he spread out his wings and shot towards her rapidly.

I swiftly took aim and unleashed a barrage of Mana blasts at him from the tendril-like appendages of my Soul Weapon Ascension armor, before he quickly formed a shield of blood to his left, blocking my attacks as he continued to charge towards Lucifer.

I then charged up my Mana Amplifiers at full power as he began to close in on her, locking onto him before pulling the triggers, massive beams of Mana erupting out of my weapons and barreling towards him with immense force.

His eyes widened in alarm before he quickly crossed his arms in front of himself while wrapping layers of blood around his forearms, my beams slamming onto him and pushing him back several meters through the air.

As the beams petered out, he spread out his wings sharply to cancel out the momentum, the skin on his arms sizzling with wisps of smoke flowing out, before he rapidly regenerated as Lucifer shot towards him.

She swung her arm across and unleashed a slashing wave of Negative Energy, which he flew up to evade, before quickly swerving across as she began to raise one of her hands in his direction.

He then fired out a barrage of blood arrows towards her, before I swiftly unleashed a volley of Mana blasts, intercepting his blood arrows and canceling them out.

As the blood splattered across the ground, Lucifer teleported a few meters behind him and blasted out a massive wave of Negative Energy towards him.

His eyes widened in alarm before a mass of blood burst out of his back and formed a dome behind him, before the Negative Energy slammed onto it and sent him hurtling forward, eating away at his blood shield before colliding against his back, vaporizing his wings.

As the Negative Energy began to fade, Sirius went skidding several meters across the ground, his back severely damaged as he came to a screeching halt across the dirt.

He then quickly scrambled back onto his feet as I unleashed a massive cannon of Mana towards him from my Amplifiers, my blast carving a trail across the ground as it barreled towards him with immense force.

Pressurized burst of blood erupted from his feet, launching himself ahead and narrowly evading my attack, before his eyes widened in alarm as Lucifer teleported above him with both hands pointed down towards him.

He began to try and get away, before his body slammed onto the ground as she unleashed her Repel ability, firing out a powerful pushing force down onto him and pinning him against the ground.

"Now, Gravity Field x10!" She exclaimed, forming a zone of increased gravity around her as her Repel ability began to peter out.

"D-damn, you...! This...this won’t be enough to hold me down!" He snapped, gritting his teeth and straining himself to get back up as he unleashed a burst of slicing blood streaks from his body, forcing her to back away.

She grimaced as a couple of the streaks inflicted shallow cuts across her sides, managing to evade the rest before backing away and getting some distance as he got back onto his feet and cracked his neck with a tilt of his head.

We don’t know what his Unique Ability is, so we can’t be too reckless in attacking him...Lucifer’s fought him before, over two centuries ago, but he never used it against her. It could be a last resort that’s something of a double-edged sword, or maybe it’s tough to activate.

Whatever the case, we shouldn’t take any unnecessary risks against him since we don’t know the full scope of what he’s capable of...not to mention, he still isn’t going all out. However, from the looks of it, I think that’s about to change soon...

"Damn it...! I can’t believe I have to resort to this against a mere human!" He exclaimed, as he took out a Magic Item.

He swiftly flew up as Lucifer teleported behind him and slashed at his back with her claws, slicing across his calves as he zipped up into the air, right as he activated the Magic Item, casting a massive barrier around the area, shrouding the space in a pale glow.

I then took out the nullifying Magic Item that Lumena had created and activated it as I held it up...but nothing happened. Damn it, looks like it isn’t going to work.

"Hahahaha, seems you tried to come up with a countermeasure against this! Did you really think we would fail to anticipate that!? And now that my full power is unleashed, you stand no chance of defeating me!" He declared gleefully.

"Yeah, it’s too bad, it would’ve been great if our Magic Item worked and nullified your barrier...oh, well, no point in dwelling on it. Instead, let’s switch to plan B," Responded Lucifer with a smirk.

"Huh? What are you talking ab-...?" He began warily.

"Mysst! Do it now!" I exclaimed, before Mysst came racing out of a nearby alley with her Soul Weapon, raising it and chanting...

"Now, open...Chronal Dimension!"
