Remarriage Failed Again Today
Chapter 311: You’re an Out-and-Out Bastard
Annabelle Linton watched him, not knowing where he had taken Aaron Wyatt, nor where he was taking her.
"What are you looking at?" Following Annabelle Linton’s gaze, Leona Grant scoffed. "Don’t know where I’m taking you?"
Annabelle Linton frowned at him, saying nothing.
Leona Grant chuckled again, an icy glint in his eyes. "In your eyes, isn’t locking him up just a way to torture you? Fine, then I’ll give you a real show of torture!"
The "him," of course, was Aaron Wyatt.
A flicker of panic crossed Annabelle Linton’s eyes. She asked nervously, "What exactly are you planning to do?!"
Her nervousness was like a needle to his eyes, and a wave of fury surged from the depths of his heart. "Didn’t I tell you? I don’t want him to have it easy! I’m going to make him wish he were dead!"
"You’re shameless!"
"Thanks for the compliment!"
A sharp glint flashed in Annabelle Linton’s eyes, and without a second thought, she swung her hand to slap him.
But who was Leona Grant?
As if he had anticipated her move, he easily caught her hand and pinned her against the back seat of the car. His eyes narrowed dangerously. "You’d better sit still and listen, got it? Believe it or not, I can have this car driven to the public square and rape you in the next second."
Annabelle Linton trembled with anger, saying through clenched teeth, "You’re a complete and utter bastard! Stop the car! I want to get out!"
’Once I’m out of the car, I’ll find a way to find Aaron Wyatt myself!’
’I was hoping he’d calm down and let Aaron Wyatt go, but this bastard actually wants to kill him!’
The driver only took orders from Leona Grant, ignoring everyone else.
"Stop the car, didn’t you hear me?!"
Leona Grant moved closer to her, his warm breath fanning across her face as he warned, "Don’t waste your breath. He won’t listen to you!"
"Where are you taking me? I’m telling you, you and I are divorced! We have no relationship whatsoever, and you have no right to take me anywhere!"
Hearing the word "divorce," a sinister glint flashed in Leona Grant’s eyes.
He pressed his entire body down on her, saying arrogantly, "In this world, whatever I, Leona Grant, say, goes! This is my final warning: don’t push me!"
Annabelle Linton stared at him coldly, and he stared back at her with equal coldness.
The two of them faced off for about two minutes before Annabelle Linton abruptly turned her head away, refusing to look at him.
’I can’t provoke him. I’m not afraid of dying, but I’m terrified of what he said... about the public square...’
Seeing her cold profile, Leona Grant finally relented.
He got off her, sat up straight, and didn’t spare her another glance.
They were silent for the rest of the journey.
...
An unknown amount of time passed before the car finally came to a stop.
After getting out of the car, Annabelle Linton realized they had arrived at another villa.
It was a garden villa, and it covered a massive area.
A swimming pool, statues, a golf garden.
But the place wasn’t unfamiliar to her. This was where she had died in her past life...
Annabelle Linton was still taking it all in. When she turned around to ask Leona Grant what he was planning, she saw that the car they had just been in was already driving away. He hadn’t gotten out at all.
Annabelle Linton was speechless.
’He actually just dumped me here!’
Annabelle Linton was about to lose her temper when several maids suddenly approached. They looked at her respectfully and said, "Welcome, Miss Linton. Miss Linton, this way please."
Annabelle Linton looked at them coldly and asked in a stern voice, "Where is Leona Grant?"
"The young master had some business to attend to and has already left. He asked us to take care of you."
’Take care of me? What a load of bullshit!’
"When is he coming back?"
"We don’t know. The young master didn’t say."
’What an absolute bastard!’
