The maid who was pierced by the spider leg coughed up a lot of blood. And from her stomach area where she was pierced, her whole body started to turn purple. After a few second, she turned into starlight and disappeared.

This was the sign that she had been eliminated from this battle and had been revived in a nearby safe room. Just like that, this unfortunate maid had became the first casualty of this battle.

But she was not alone. Just a few second after her, Venessa also succumbed to the poison of the silver mist and died. She became the second casualty immediately after the maid.

But among the three ladies who were hurt, it was Rosalie whose looked to be most injured. But she had not died.

In this boss chamber, resurrection items were useless. If anyone died, they would be resurrected by the large scale formation of the tower dungeon. Their self resurrection methods would be saved this way. So everyone was able to only die once in any of the boss battles.

So, Rosalie had not died and resurrected here. She had used a special spell to extend her life when she was on the verge of death. But if someone did not saved her from the jaws of this spider, then she would actually die as soon as the effect of her life extension spell was over.

Her bodyguard given to her by Elena tried to save his beloved mistress. But the strings of the spider kept it away.

The maids were closest to her and also tried to help. But after losing one of their members, the power of their formation had decreased considerably. And that was why, they were also powerless and could barely protect themselves.

Azusa was preparing a large scale move, so for the time being, she was unable to move. She was almost 90 percent done with its charging, so leaving it midway would be a massive loss because this move actually had about 30 percent chance of killing this spider boss outright.

So the only person who was currently free was Agmi. And her performance in the battle so far had been lackluster.

The main reason for that was the attention that the spider was giving to her, but still, as she was supposed to be the strongest among the fighting ladies, this was still a very disappointing display from her.

And the person who was most unsatisfied with this situation was Agmi herself. She was feeling extremely frustrated and her anger was building up inside her.

One had to remember that, Agmi was a world eater. A being who was suppose to being calamity, destruction and apocalypse to a world. Calling her a personification of demise would not be wrong.

So even though she acted like a very normal being, actually, she was extremely violent by nature. And this violent nature of her finally came out when she made a move to save Rosalie.

To maintain her persona as a very normal humanoid being, she had tried to avoid taking her true form as much as possible. Because that form of hers was scary, very scary.

After spending quite some with the ladies of this group, Agmi was gotten closer to them without even realising. It had happened in a very natural fashion.

As she was mostly a solitary existence, whenever she got close to a person, she would give that person a lot of place in her heart. So when she saw that Rosalie was about to die, she did not think twice before taking her true form.

The spider was definitely a scary existence. But with its body that looked to be made from starlight, it actually was quite beautiful to look at. But as all the other people present in the boss chamber were beautiful ladies, it was still the most monstrous looking being present here.

But when Agmi transformed into her true form, that fact changed. Suddenly a pitch black creature with many tentacles all over its body appeared in the room. The whole body of this being was giving off the aura of death, destruction and demise.

As soon as Agmi took her true form, Elena noticed that her stats immediately got a massive boost. It looked like being in her regular form was restricting Agmi quite a bit.

Then with the current body, she attacked the spider. Firstly she made sure to save Rosalie from the jaws of the beast and immediately after that, she entangled with the spider in a close quarters fight.

The spider actually turned out to be proficient in close quarters combat too and it’s physical attributes were very high. But even then, Agmi dominated the fight from the beginning to the end.

Seeing this, no one think would think that her levels were lower than the spider. The race of the World eater was considered to be one of the strongest in the whole universe for a very good reason.

But the Celestial Chaos Spider was also not a weak race by any means. They were also beings who were considered to be at the top of the food chain. So even though the spider was at a disadvantage for the whole duration of the battle, it was far from being actually defeated.

So just as it looked like that the fight between these two insanely powerful races would be going on for quite some time, it came to a suddenly halt. And the reason for this halt was an insanely powerful move that Azusa had been preparing all this time.

The result of all this preparation was a small spear tip that was made by concentrating all her knowledge about the spear path, the various lesser concepts that she had managed to learn and even a little bit of the space and destruction attributes.

[ Spear of Extinction ]

This was the name of this skill plus weapon. It was still just a prototype but the destructive power that it has even in this incomplete form was insane. It completely broke through all the defensive measures that the spider had and landed a perfect and critical hit.

Not just that but after the spear tip went inside the body of the spider, it started to corrode it’s body from inside. Just this single attacked dealt a considerable damage to the spider.

But unfortunately, it was not enough to kill it. Still, this was a great opportunity and there were people who were ready to take full advantage of this.

Taking this opportunity, now that her opponent had gotten weaker, Agmi also launched a beam of destruction from her mouth to finish it off.

Would that be enough to actually defeat the spider boss monster ?
