Chapter 973: Ch 973: Couple’s Death and a New Beginning

Seeing her husband, Chi Chu could not help but quickly go to him. Seeing her coming over, Lance smiled widely and immediately gave her a hug.

At this exactly moment, the golden light covering Lance’s body spread out and covered the whole pitch black mindscape.

Next just like magic, this depression dark area suddenly turned into a paradise like place with flowers blooming all over, birds singing beautiful songs and cute small animals running around everywhere.

One of the squirrel came running at her feet and she bent down and started to gently pat the cute little thing.

Chi Chu had always been very fond of small animals but because she was living in the Starseer tower, she did not get much opportunities to interact with them. The only way she got to spend any time with them was by visiting the petting zoos in the lower floors.

So now that she had so many small animals to cuddle with and pet to her heart’s content, she truly felt that she was in the paradise.

Seeing his wife happily playing with the small animals, Lance could help but smile like a fool. This was the exact sight that he always wanted to see.

So he decided to ask Elena after his resurrection that if he would be allowed of keep a few pets for his wife in his new work place.

But he did not need to wait for so long to get the answer to this question. Elena sent the answer to him to through a mental message and the answer was obviously yes. Lance was to free to do whatever he wanted as long as he was not trying to kill himself constantly.

Getting this reply, Lance could not help but almost tear up. He was aware of the fact that his wife dearly loved littel animals. So he had actually tried to bring a pet to her before.

But this request was rejected by the housing manager. He was even indirectly told that if he wanted this approval, he needed to participate in a few troublesome and underhanded dealings.

Lance was actually even willing to take the risk regarding this matter but Chi Chu had fortunately managed to stop him from doing something this stupid.

So now that he would be able to actually fulfill this simple wish of his wife, Lance truly felt that he had made the best decision of his life by joining Elena.

Next he went beside Chi Chu and sat down. Then while Chi Chu was busy playing with the cute animals, he started to explain to her everything that he had heard from the ladies, including the matter about her death, resurrection and their future.

Chi Chu was definitely a brave girl but she did have a habit of becoming nervous whenever she was faced with terrible situations that she had no power to stop.

This exact thing had happened when she was being framed by the canteen manager. At that time, she was feeling extremely powerless in her heart. That time, Lance had actually saved her heart from breaking and had also stolen her heart at the same time.

So even though this time she was facing death instead of a simple expulsion, Chi Chu was actually feeling much less nervous than before. And even though it might sound terrible, but the reason for her calmness was her husband’s presence with her.

Just knowing that her husband was willing to go as far as dying alongside her, it made her heart to feel very warm and content. Even though she had no wish to see her husband’s death, just knowing that he loved her so much was enough for her.

With that in mind, Chi Chu calmly accepted her destiny. Actually she did not even feel bad about this at all. From what she had heard, it looked like her death was actually giving her husband a way to get out of this terrible hellish place that was the Starseer Tower.

So in that case, it looked like her death was actually a beneficial thing that was not only making her stronger but it was also going to give her beloved husband a new direction in life.

This was the reason why Chi Chu did not mind her death at all and even felt that it was a good thing. The benefits that she and especially her husband could get from this, she found her dying to be completely worth it.

Currently Chi Chu and Lance, both were lying side by the side on the same bed. At the last moment, Elena had actually brought a doctor from the medical department to make sure that that both Chi Chu and Lance were actually dead. After checking that, he also wrote a death certificate for both of them.

And as for all the items, money and properties that Lance had, they were all handed over to Venessa according to his will that he had officially made before going to his wife’s dreamscape.
