The involvement of her brother in the plot against her was not really surprising to Azusa. The first prince had been going against her for a very very long time and so what had happened here were all within her expectations.

This was not even the first time when something like this had happened. People related to this brother of hers had tried to kill her many times in the past. But all of those attempts had failed before her strength.

The Otrefiona Emperor allowed competition among his children. He allowed everything, from brute force to the use of schemes. So these competitions were quite brutal.

It was also not limited to the position of first prince and the first princess. Even the lower ranking and unranked offsprings of the emperor needed to compete continuously against one another for opportunities, money, positions and more.

The Otrefiona Emperor did not hold back in preparing various rewards for his children. But all his rewards were not just given away but one needed to earn them.

Not just that but weakness was something that was seen as a sin in the whole Otrefiona Royal Family. For this reason, this competition had became much more brutal with everyone trying to prove themselves to be stronger than the others.

But even with all these very brutal rules, there was one thing that the Otrefiona Emperor did not allow. And that was the killing of his children.

According to him, in the whole universe, only two people had the rights to kill his blood. His enemy and he himself. So matter what crime his children had committed, he would be the judge of that.

If someone bypassed him and tried to end the existence of his blood, then no matter if the party in question was Right or Wrong, they would become his enemy, even if it was another offspring of his.

For this reason, even with the brutal nature of the competition, there were very few, almost zero instances of siblings killing one another. This was considered to be a good thing by most people.

In this case, because the actual member of the royal family was not harmed, the emperor had not make the killer son his enemy. As for his crime of killing his sister in law and nephew, because of his position as a royal, it was actually easy for him to get away with a light punishment.

At that time, Azusa had challenged her father and had managed to overturn her father’s decision of killing this brother of hers by completing a quest given by him.

And this same rule was also the reason why Azusa had not seriously went after the first prince whose name she had almost forgotten.

But there was one thing that did make Azusa very surprised. The first prince was definitely not a dumb person. So he should be aware that if he actually could manage to kill Azusa, what he would gain in exchange would be death by the hands of her and his father, the emperor.

Azusa was without the doubt the emperor’s favourite child. And this was not just Azusa’s speculations or her ego speaking. He himself had said that multiple time, in various public and private situations. And the emperor also known to have a very good reputation for never lying in any situation.

So Azusa was really curious about what kind of methods the first prince had that would allow him to get away with her murder. The only method that Azusa could think of was to collaborate with another supreme who could match her father’s strength.

But that would be very similar or treason which was again another crime worthy of death sentence. So Azusa was really having a hard time coming up with anything.

Azusa told all of hers thoughts to the ladies present and to even Zeta through a mental link who was not present in Elena’s mini world.

After listening to everything that Azusa had to say, Elena thought a little bit and came up with a suggestion. But before telling Azusa that, she had a question for her.

"Hmm, so we just need to make sure to not kill this troublesome person, right ? Anything else, including torture should be fine, correct ?"

To Elena’s question, Azusa nodded her head. Torturing a sibling was perfectly fine in the eyes of the emperor. According to him, anyone who was defeated by torture was weak in terms of willpower and needed to just train more.

Elena smiled a little after hearing this and said -

"In that case, allow me to cast a curse on him which would make his life very troublesome. And let’s also accept his little invitation to see what kind of plans he had came up with to get rid of you."

The other ladies also nodded their heads. Acting as if they had actually fallen for the plan was a very good way to lure the enemy. And with the presence of Elena and Zeta, this reckless looking plan was actually not dangerous at all.

So with that idea in mind, Elena used a spell to control the mind of the assasins here and allowed them to take Venessa away. Obviously Venessa had agreed to the plan beforehand and was fine with being the bait.

But Elena had done everything to make sure that her life was not in any kind of danger. Even if a supreme was there to assist the first prince, still Venessa would be perfectly fine and unharmed.

So as Azusa started to act and left the the castle in a hurry, Elena started to prepare the curse that she was going to give to this first prince.
