Listening to Zheng Xu’s tone, he wasn’t even aware of why her voice was hurt. So, could it really not be him? Never mind, she’ll find out everything when they meet. Qian decided to talk in person.

After changing clothes, she drove back to her old place. As soon as she arrived downstairs, she saw Zheng Xu leaning against the car, with several cigarette butts on the ground.

"Why didn’t you call me when you got here?"

"I did, but your line was busy—what happened to your neck?!" Zheng Xu noticed the purple marks on Qian’s neck.

"It’s a long story, let’s go upstairs and talk."

"It’s you!" A haggard-looking Aka came out carrying garbage and was surprised to see Zheng Xu, pointing at him. Zheng Xu felt his temple throb when he saw her; she better not say that name that drives him crazy!

"Why so excited seeing me? It’s not like you haven’t seen me before," Qian said blandly.

Could she not be excited? Aka was heavily scolded by the boss over Qian’s incident because she failed to stay by her side, nearly causing Qian serious harm. The boss was furious, and Aka felt deeply guilty too.

Qian hasn’t been living around here since she got back. She resides in a high-end community that isn’t accessible to just anyone, and she hasn’t been to school lately, which made Aka worry about her safety. But seeing her now, Aka’s guilt resurfaced, especially noticing the marks on Qian’s neck.

Qian didn’t notice Aka’s abnormality and gestured for Zheng Xu to follow her upstairs. Aka hurriedly squeezed into the elevator with them, only to see both Qian and Zheng Xu looking at her oddly.

"You... not throwing the trash?" Qian pointed to the garbage bag in Aka’s hand, and Aka suddenly realized.

"Don’t disappear later, okay? I have something to give you!"

The elevator doors closed, and Zheng Xu looked disgusted.

"Where did you pick up this yellow-haired tigress?"

"She clung on herself. I also want to know the answer to that. I can’t trace her background."

What Qian couldn’t trace, Zheng Xu certainly couldn’t either; she was a mysterious yellow-haired tigress.

"Someone offered a high price for a psychologist to treat schizophrenia. I came to see my dad, and thought I’d ask if you could solve this."

"For someone already diagnosed with schizophrenia, a psychologist can only assist in therapy. Psychiatric follow-up is a must along with long-term medication. There’s little point in paying a high price for a psychologist, mental rehabilitation centers have psychologists who can do this."

Qian thought many people seemed to be developing schizophrenia lately; they seemed to be popping up everywhere. But upon opening the file bag, she was speechless.

"How did it get to you?"

Wasn’t this the principal!

"It’s said that the family of the patient leveraged many connections, trying everywhere until they heard of a great psychologist in Q City and reached out with a trial approach. Why?"

Qian shoved the file back in exasperation.

"Send it back. I don’t treat this person. There are plenty of doctors; let them choose someone else."

While she wasn’t ruthless enough to drive the principal insane, she didn’t have the benevolence to treat someone who wronged her. She couldn’t maintain a calm and fair mind to handle this murky situation, not to mention the principal’s reaction to seeing her might make him worse.
