"Yes, it is me," Summer Sutton replied to her.

"Mr. Ink hasn’t seen you for a while and was wondering where you’d gone, so he sent me to check," the maid said, bowing her head.

"Please tell him, I’m just wandering in the hall, no need to worry," Summer Sutton replied, and the maid left afterward.

While she spoke to the maid, there were several guests standing before her. However, within about a minute after the maid left, Summer Sutton turned around to find that the guests who had been standing in front were gone.

Summer Sutton was stunned for a few seconds, her heart skipped a beat.

She had a bad feeling, instinctively wanting to run to the inner hall, but behind her, Watt Bennet’s familiar voice rang out suddenly, "Miss Sutton!"

Word by word, he seemed to bite them out as he spoke.

Summer Sutton groaned inwardly, her back stiffened for a while, her face slowly turning to look at him.

Watt Bennet pushed his wheelchair slowly towards her, his cold demeanor heavy, and the look in his eyes was so sharp it seemed as if he’d cut her into pieces.

"I am looking for you!" he reminded her with a cold face.

How could Summer Sutton not know?

Whenever she disappeared, he would inevitably search for her.

But she could not go back with him yet.

Not knowing how to explain to him, Summer Sutton stood still, somewhat at a loss.

"Come with me!" Watt Bennet coldly looked at her for a while, then pulled her over swiftly, leading her towards the garden.

His grip was strong, giving Summer Sutton no room to struggle.

Summer Sutton passively followed him, her heartbeat quickened.

If he forcibly took her away, what should she do?

Watt Bennet stubbornly continued walking forward, pulling her along.

He brought her to a secluded part of the garden, his cold gaze swept behind him towards her, as his hand tightly grasped the armrest of the wheelchair.

His eyes burned with fire, as if exerting effort to suppress his anger.

Afraid he would erupt, Summer Sutton didn’t think of anything else and lunged into his arms, hitting against him, and then pulled down his face to kiss him.

She kissed hastily, seemingly in panic, the kiss landing beside Watt Bennet’s lips instead.

Summer Sutton didn’t care about such details, her arms wrapping around him, continuing to kiss him, hugging him tightly, using all her prowess to soothe him.

While kissing, she observed Watt Bennet’s reaction.

Her kiss lacked any seductive technique.

The kiss actually made Watt Bennet’s mouth a bit sore, as her teeth bumped into his lips several times.

Yet, he didn’t push Summer Sutton away.

He had been searching for her for over ten days, seeing her reappear here intensified Watt Bennet’s anger, but with her softly clinging in his embrace, kissing him as she pleased, he couldn’t release any of his fury.

Summer Sutton’s kiss made Watt Bennet feel rather unpleasant, but inwardly he actually enjoyed it.

They had been married for over two years, her skills just as they were, what more could he demand?

Summer Sutton continued kissing him, planning to release him once his demeanor softened, so they could talk properly.

But after kissing for quite some time, Watt Bennet persistently looked at her coldly, his gaze fierce as if wishing to crush her.

Unable to comprehend his feelings, Summer Sutton raised her hand and soothed his back like one would a child.

Unexpectedly, with that one move, Watt Bennet’s eyes grew even colder.

Summer Sutton was dumbstruck for a while, somewhat unsure of what to do.

Suddenly, she was at a loss...
