One of the gifts he had given Leena was a rare umbra elemental bloodline specimen known as the Dorrondo Beast Horn. It was said to have originated from the Amenkha Empire and to have been taken from some powerful monster there.

Over the years, Sein had also picked up bits and pieces of information about that civilization.

He knew the Amenkha Empire was a distant and potentially hostile power, one that posed a serious threat to the Magus Civilization.

As for how strong the Amenkha Empire truly was, what exactly the conflict between it and the Magus Civilization involved, or where its star domain was located, those were things far beyond Sein’s current reach.

Sometimes, knowing too much was not necessarily a good thing.

The threat of the Amenkha Empire was simply not something Sein needed to concern himself with right now.

Those matters were for overlord-level beings to think about.

Still, since the Spider Queen had brought it up and seemed to know more, Sein tried to learn more.

“Do you have any inside information about the warning your father mentioned?” Sein asked, looking at her curiously.

Lorthisra began putting on a bit of airs. Rather than answering him right away, she turned her beautiful eyes toward Fermera instead.

Seeing that, Sein had no choice but to call Fermera over.

Lorthisra was not a conventional Magus World mage, so there was no chance she would dismantle Fermera for further study.

A few looks from her were not going to make Fermera lose a single screw either.

Sure enough, once Fermera came over, Lorthisra smiled as she examined the intelligent robot before her and began speaking again.

“I don’t know what danger the Amenkha Empire might bring yet, but my father has told me not to act rashly for now. When a top-tier civilization begins making major moves, the others usually sense something ahead of time. Perhaps my father noticed something, or perhaps the astrologers of Eastern Stargazing Heights sent some sort of warning.”

“Either way, I have a feeling that things will get turbulent again soon,” Lorthisra predicted boldly.

In truth, Lorthisra’s father had not given her any specific warning. He had only told her to keep a low profile for the time being.

Lorthisra was a Rank Six being. Obviously, her father was anything but ordinary.

As a renowned powerhouse of Blackhaven, he stood among the very strongest figures in the entire Magus Civilization.

A warning from someone like him was naturally not without reason, and even Sein found himself growing more alert after hearing it.

He thought about his own situation for a moment. In recent years, he had not been assigned any especially dangerous missions that required him to push deep into the frontlines, so he was probably safe for the time being.

Under Feylis’ orders, most of his recent duties had involved delivering resources or providing logistical support.

On top of that, Feylis herself currently had no plans to move to any of the battle fronts.

This rare stretch of calm had gradually dulled Sein’s sense of caution over the past few years.

Lorthisra’s warning, however, put him on guard once more.

Aside from catching up with Lorthisra and delivering supplies, Sein also took the chance to ask about Faeloria.

He knew very well that more than two hundred law-wielding demon kings were still trapped there, waiting to be rescued.

Although most of them were essentially weakened versions of Rank Four beings, their numbers alone were enough to be staggering.

Besides, in times like the Clash of Civilizations, there was no room to be picky. Even a single weakened demon king was still far stronger than a group of Rank Three creatures!

With Lorthisra’s abilities and the deterrent power of the Magus World behind her, those demons would become an elite force the moment they were set free.

And then there was Levon Thorstein, the peak Rank Six Bloodwar Monarch of the Purgatory.

Lorthisra must have built a very deep relationship with him back then. Otherwise, the Bloodwar Monarch would never have gone so far as to capture Aurelia, the Rank Five Goddess of Wealth, and present her to Lorthisra as a gift.

Truth be told, Sein was deeply tempted by the staggering wealth of Faeloria.

Besides, he had also left behind a seed of truth in that plane and could not help wondering whether it had already taken root.

Because of all this, Sein remained deeply invested in Faeloria.

Perhaps only several overlords working together could force open Faeloria’s lawful barrier, and even then, the price would be enormous.

At such a critical stage in the middle of the Clash of Civilizations, who in their right mind would go out of their way to provoke a tough opponent like Faeloria?

She might even need not only Sein’s strength, but also the support of the Verdant Flame Faction behind him.

After all, with only her own power and the small corner of Blackhaven under her control, Lorthisra was hardly in any position to swallow a large-sized world like Faeloria.

With the help of the Faceless Mask, the Magic Cube, and Fermera’s assessment of Lorthisra’s true body, Sein realized that the Spider Queen had not actually reached the peak of Rank Six.

She was most likely in the late stage of Rank Six.

Still, if she possessed an overlord-tier weapon or some other hidden trump cards, then her true combat power might very well reach the peak of Rank Six.

Lorthisra was still growing stronger.

Back when Sein first met Lorthisra, she had probably only been at the mid-stage of Rank Six.

In the Lumette Star Domain, Sein also met Caelzas, the Blood Elf King.

He was a handsome male elf with platinum blond hair, dressed in a magnificent blood-red robe.

Although the Rank Five Elf King was still slightly inferior to Sein in raw strength, he possessed an ability that even caught Sein’s attention—the power to draw strength from his opponents’ blood.

It was precisely this ability that had allowed Caelzas to rise from mid-stage Rank Four to Rank Five in only three thousand years since the outbreak of the Clash of Civilizations.

At the same time, Caelzas was one of the evil deities most favored by Lorthisra. His status far exceeded that of the Dark Elf Queens under the Spider Queen’s command, and he was also said to possess considerable talent for leadership.

Caelzas was exceptionally polite toward Sein. After all, Sein was someone who could speak directly with his master.
