The explosion sent dust and rocks flying towards White, yet he stood there, completely unbothered.

All of the rocks heading towards him seemingly tried to hit him, only to be bent off track as they got inches away.

Through the dust, a beam of power pierced through with blinding speed, slamming towards White, whose gaze remained as unperturbed as ever.

The air behind him was blown back as a claw, glowing with pitch-black light, hung inches away from his face.

Its source was a middle-aged man with long dark hair, whose pitch-black eyes widened, at the sight of his hanging claws which refused to touch White.

"Interesting..."

He mused, but in the next moment, White’s hands reached outward with speed, fingers taking the shape of a gun that paused inches away from the man’s chest.

"Your hand is not long enough."

The man said, not bothering to dodge,

"Activate Limitless Collapse."

A black dot appeared at the end of his palm, mere centimeters from the man’s chest.

As he quickly tried to back off,

"Collapse."

KAAABOOOOOM!

A devastating explosion rocked this part of the world as he was roughly blasted backward, soaring for 20 meters into the distance before his massive dark wings flapped, stopping his motion.

In disbelief, Huracan turned his gaze to his chest, finding a pitch-black wound in his skin, with dark mist radiating outward.

He turned to White, who still had his hands outstretched.

’Wow,’

White mused, his mind reeling in shock.

He knew he had upgraded Limitless Collapse the last time, but still, the power right now was completely beyond anything he’d ever unleashed.

’This is indeed the Meteor Realm.’

"I heard the news of a student surviving the destruction."

Huracan said from faraway.

"Sent those three to clean things up, but with two of them failing to return, I couldn’t believe the words of that girl, claiming you had died."

"She might as well have been a coward and ran off after the death of those two, and it seems my guess wasn’t far off."

The man called out, flapping his wings to rise up in the air.

The sight of him made White’s eyes narrow.

He wasn’t a student, but an instructor, and instructors usually possessed overwhelming power.

After all, one needed to be above the Meteor Realm to qualify for an instructor job in any of the top academies.

He didn’t know if Aether Beyonder had the same qualifications, but he did know one thing:

The figure said, flapping his wings once and soaring towards White, who tried to take a step back to dodge, but then the words echoed in his head, and he froze.

A cut appeared on his face from how sharp the claw phantom reaching for his face was.

It still paused a few inches from his face, but this time,

Cracking sounds rang out as Limitless Interval began to crack apart under the force of the attack.

"Don’t dodge. Just relax. I’ll take over."

The Otherworlder’s words echoed in White’s head.

Limitless Interval was broken through by the claws, which headed straight for White’s face, but mere inches from reaching him,

A shockwave rippled outward, and Huracan’s eyes widened when White caught his hand in a tight grip.

As he looked at White, his spine chilled at the sight of that hand slowly turning into claws.

What followed next was dark, blood-like liquid pouring out of White’s closed eyes, which slowly parted open.

"What are yo..."

"Kneel!"

BOOOOOM!

The ground gave way as Huracan felt the control of his own legs instantly slip from him.

They gave out, and both of his knees slammed into the ground.

A terrifying pressure slammed down onto him, both of his hands slamming into the ground to resist as his teeth bit down tightly.

Pressure.

Horrifying pressure slammed down onto him, leaving his bones creaking from the incredulous force.

"EVO RUSH!"

He shouted, feeling the pressure trying to reduce him to paste, and in the next moment, the massive dark wings behind him glowed brightly before flapping five times in one second.

Space was ripped into pieces as Huracan flashed backward, only stopping 20 meters away from White whilst hovering in the sky.

But he didn’t last 10 seconds in the sky before he plummeted down to the ground, landing on a knee and coughing.

Footsteps reached him, and he lifted his head to witness an abominable scene.

It was White.

His clothes slowly burned away as blood streamed from his eyes. It seemed corrosive, consuming the fabric.

Then the air above his head shook, and something slipped through space.

A simple pitch-black circle, darker than night, and hanging above his head in silence.

The sight of it made Huracan’s jaw fall open as an aura burst through the world as if a dam had been released.

A stifling aura that made every cell within his body quiver in fear, and with awe and horror, he watched as White slowly levitated off the ground. 𝙛𝒓𝒆𝙚𝒘𝒆𝓫𝙣𝓸𝙫𝓮𝒍.𝒄𝒐𝓶

He floated up, exactly 3 meters, coming to stand above the kneeling Huracan.

’A... An Otherworld King!?’

Huracan thought in shock.

’Someone... someone fused with an Otherworld King!?’

"I asked you to kneel, and you escaped my command."

Those words lacked any emotion whatsoever, reading like a decree from the heavens.

"Should I take that as a challenge to my power?"

White asked, extending his hands as light blossomed at his palms.

Crimson radiance washed over Huracan, making his skin sizzle.

Before the glow could swell any further,

The crack of skull against ground rang out as Huracan bowed, driving his forehead into the floor hard enough to draw blood.
