Human bodies weren’t strong enough to devour worlds, that was one thing. The other was that chaos beasts did not hold the world within their bodies. It resided in an independent location. Or rather, it resided in a special location created by chaos dao.

Humans could not do the same because they originated from a world.

The Dragon master beckoned to his three seventh ranks and smiled at the group after swallowing his world. “Then... I shall be on my way!”

He vanished from sight, taking his world into Skyward’s dao universe.

Seeing that an eighth rank had gone inside, the other seventh ranks could contain themselves no longer. Cracks appeared throughout the surroundings as other exalted emperors entered Skyward’s dao universe as well.

Red Moon glanced at Skycloud, Skycloud looked at Light. “Want to go together, Light?”

“Are you worried that I’ll march on your world after you’re gone?” The Light stared coolly at Skycloud.

“Hahaha, how would I ever...” laughed Skycloud. Yes, that’s precisely what I’m worried about! I’m going to force you inside if you don’t go in.”

Light sneered and instantly set foot into the dao universe. He quickly ripped it open again and hovered into view. “We can come and go from it. You guys are over-thinkers!”

It wasn’t as if they were trapped inside.

Light promptly vanished again. He was just testing if he could freely come and go. Thankfully, he could. That set him at ease.

“Let us go together, Brother Red Moon!” Skycloud finally called upon his dao star. Red Moon cursed to himself!

What a coward to wait until the last minute!

He couldn’t be bothered to say anything else. Red Moon immediately crossed over when the dao universe opened. The Skycloud master quickly followed behind him.

All was quiet in the vicinity after everyone entered the dao universe. However, another batch of seventh ranks quickly arrived and entered with their dao stars.

The dao masters of numerous major worlds in the four regions left their worlds. If anyone was of a mind to, they could easily locate a world without a seventh rank in residence at the moment.

Some exalted emperors hopped in and out of Skyward’s dao universe at various times. None of them met with any obstacles. That further emboldened the group. Since they could leave anytime, what was there to worry about?

In the depths of the Skyward universe.

The dao chess was sleeping near a star. It shook its head and looked around it. The dao universe could maintain this state for another day at most. After that, it would spontaneously sink into slumber.

No one would be able to come or go then!

The New Martial Human King was really willing to invest resources into his ventures!

Li Hao had been much more conservative, comparatively speaking. Of course, the young man wasn’t nearly as strong. The New Martial Human King could reverse yin and yang to force an entire dao universe into awakening. It looked like he had quite the ambitions in mind!

He was paying a hefty price for this operation. The Ash Emperor was injured and a great deal of dao strength needed to be expended for reversing yin and yang. The equivalent of a seventh rank world had been consumed when it came to energy. The Human King was truly down in strength after this attempt!

What does he want to do with luring so many powerhouses into the dao universe?

The dao chess didn’t dare show itself. It was afraid that the Human King would kill it to ensure it stayed quiet. Perhaps the human knew that the treasure was nearby—the Sword Sovereign had known, after all.

Apart from New Martial, the dao chess might be the only one in the four regions who knew that the Human King had reversed yin and yang here!

If it spoke of it, not only would the Human King gain nothing for all of his effort, but he might be surrounded and attacked by others instead. It was no wonder that the dao chess was worried it’d be silenced.

The Sword Sovereign and rest haven’t come... probably because... the Human King’s going to seal off the universe after he lures everyone and ambush Blazing Sun?

The dao chess thought wildly for a while, then decided it had nothing to do with anything going on. It just needed to find a good place to hide.

Off to another side.

The Human King’s face was pale. He had indeed suffered quite a loss. He rubbed the big cat’s head with a cold look in his eyes.

“Blazing Sun has left a strong contingent behind,” he transmitted with a sneer. “There’s at least four seventh ranks on that world, maybe even more. There are also powerhouses among the outsiders. It will be hard to conquer Blazing Sun, but Skycloud will be a simple affair!”

A joint attack from Ole Zhang and the others would make quick work of Skycloud, even without the New Martial home world to pull from. There were only two seventh ranks in residence at that world!

Conquering Skycloud would mean that the Earth Emperor, Suppression King, Ole Wang, and a few others all had hopes of setting foot into seventh rank. They simply lacked some dao strength at the moment. Supplementing that would ensure that large numbers of seventh ranks were born in New Martial!

They would have a chance of taking Blazing Sun then.

I’m gonna go big or go home this time!

With so many powerhouses inside the dao universe, some of them would absolutely want to leave when the universe fell silent again. They might join hands to break through the dao universe, which was when he would be in the most amount of danger because he’d stop them from leaving!

It was safe enough for now because everyone was distracted by the search to refine the dao origin. No one was paying attention to him.

“One day, Big Cat, we only have one day for recovery... These guys will probably work together to leave after that. We need to keep them here!”

They’d successfully lured over a lot of eighth rank worlds, which meant they would most likely take Skycloud. There was also a high chance of claiming Blazing Sun.

And if Ole Zhang and the others could venture out of Thunder Region... they might be able to locate the worlds of those outsiders and breach their defenses as well. That would be truly making out like bandits!

If everything went according to plan, then New Martial might produce multiple seventh ranks after this campaign!

The Human King grinned with satisfaction as he daydreamed. As for the danger, who cared? He never shied away from danger. The gains just needed to be big enough and in accordance with however much he invested!

His thoughts strayed to the little guy from Silver Moon. What a pity that guy had gone off to the Dragon Region! None of the Dragon seventh ranks had come, apart from the ones that the Dragon master had brought.

The Human King had originally thought he might see some seventh ranks from Dragon region. It looked like there would be no chance of that.

If the little guy was smart enough, he’d rush back to the three regions and perhaps collect some hidden seventh rank worlds. However, the chaos was vast and those worlds were bound to be hidden deep. Apart from eighth rank worlds that were hard to shift around, the seventh rank world masters had likely long hidden their worlds.

Forget it!

The little guy from Silver Moon is too weak in the end. I would’ve called for him if he was seventh rank, we’d feast together! But he’s only a fifth rank, so he won’t even be able to fight seventh ranks. There’s not much of a chance for him here.

Dragon Region.

Li Hao’s group scoured the area one more time and killed large numbers of exalted emperors. There were a lot of worlds in front of them now. The young man no longer permitted these worlds to drift in the void. There weren’t enough Silver Moon exalted emperors to go around.

He began refining some worlds for himself, no longer sharing all of the gains. He needed to set foot into sixth rank—only when he did that would there be more opportunities for him.

Minor worlds within his long river quickly grew with energy. Some of the mid worlds could saturate multiple of his minor worlds. Li Hao’s river of dao churned with motion.

The queen was producing more and more chaos strength. Over the days, she’s absorbed a vast quantity of faith and was beginning to show signs of breaking through to fourth rank.

And the more the group killed the more spirit guards Lin Hongyu gained. She had almost twenty now, but all of them were low rank. She, too, showed promising signs of setting foot into fourth rank.

It made Li Hao feel a sense of urgency. He’d been a fifth rank when these people verified their dao, and he was still a fifth rank now that they were almost fourth ranks. Although there was still a vast difference between their strength, he’d been stuck at fifth rank for too long!

It’d been almost four months since they’d taken the four major worlds and he’d entered fifth rank. Li Hao had come across many fortuitous occurrences during this time. Not only had they silenced Skyward—well, most of those benefits went to Void, but he’d gained a great deal from it too. He’d then devoured numerous worlds, but still had not made it to sixth rank!

Li Hao was starting to become agitated!

The river of dao trembled. There were eight hundred minor worlds now, another step closer to the one thousand for sixth rank!

A ripple undulated through the river at this time.

“What is it, Panther?” Li Hao asked with a frown. Surprisingly, the dog was contacting him through the river. It’d always refused to speak, but this time, it sent a surge of mental strength!

“This is bad... Feng Yan from Phoenix is rushing toward you with a lot of exalted emperors! Not only that, but apparently Phoenix major world has received news that there is a seventh rank returning from Dragon major world. They might be here for Earth Dragon!
