Red Moon Chamber

Jeremy Night entered the practice room to train. He was going to practice the blade move, Star Fist, and his self-created starlight thread.

Time passed.

After noon, he got a call from Head Harold who wanted to see him. Jeremy ended the practice. He came outside and went to the bathroom again to take a shower.

20 minutes later,

After getting ready, he went to meet Head Harold. On the way, he came across members who were discussing something serious among themselves.

He raised his eyebrows. Then he came to the lobby. The situation at the lobby was even more strange.

There were people in groups sitting down and watching the online news. It once again raised his curiosity. He used his eye power to zoom in.

He then saw the breaking news playing on the device. But he didn't know what the breaking news was about. He swept his gaze across the place.

He saw all other members were looking at their devices, searching for something. He understood something serious must have happened.

When his gaze landed on the office room, he saw the staff people arguing among themselves. Something was not right. He turned around and continued his way towards Head Harold's room.

Shortly afterwards,

He arrived at the office. He then sought permission to enter. He got the permission the next moment.

Creak!

He walked inside the room. His gaze then fell on Head Harold behind the desk. Head Harold asked him to sit down.

Hearing that, he sat opposite to him.

Harold began to observe Jeremy Night. He looked at him up and down. He confirmed that the young man was alright. There was no need to worry anymore.

When the doctor told him earlier, he decided to see Jeremy Night right away.

Sigh!

A sigh escaped from his mouth.

"I underestimated the danger this time. I knew the Hill Family might cause problems. But I didn't expect the Darkshade Organisation to send higher-tier beast tamers."

"Fortunately, Hugo and others were there to stop them," he added.

After saying that, his gaze fell on Jeremy. He then thought of something and said, "You did well by surviving. But you should not enter the wilderness anytime soon."

Jeremy understood the meaning behind his words. He and Sister Melinda were lucky enough to escape. The enemies had suffered huge losses.

It couldn't be expected to repeat again. Clearly, Head Harold didn't want to take the risk.

"I will be training here in my room," Jeremy replied.

A hint of relief flashed in Harold's eyes. To be honest, he wanted to send Jeremy Night back to his home for a few weeks.

But the current situation had made him change his mind.

"Alright, you can go back," Harold said.

Hearing that, Jeremy Night stood up and thanked him before leaving the room.

A few minutes later,

Jeremy came back to his room. He sat down on the sofa and began to ponder about the next move. Like Head Harold said, he couldn't go outside.

He himself knew the seriousness of the matter. He couldn't fight against Tier-6 and Tier-7 Beast Tamers right now. It was taking an unnecessary risk.

Then he changed his clothes and wore his combat gear before entering the training room.

....

Hill Family

The higher-ups of the Hill Family were looking for Robert Hill. They were unable to contact him. On the other hand, rumors of high-tier beast sightings were being reported as breaking news.

The higher-ups were worried about whether their head had entered the wilderness or not, because he had no other places to go. The higher-ups decided to wait another day.

Who knew? Robert Hill might have gone for important work. They also knew the death of young master Tyson Hill had disturbed Robert Hill very much. They decided to wait and watch.

....

Meanwhile,

The Tier-9 Black Centipede had ordered the Tier-5 and Tier-6 Beasts to enter the wilderness in large numbers. During the night, more than 500 beasts spread across the territory.

The Beast Tamers who were performing missions inside the boundaries of the wilderness were all taken aback.

They didn't expect to come across this many corrupted beasts in the inner area. If this continued, the corrupted beasts could reach the city gate.

It didn't look like a beast tide, but the Beast Tamers were confused by the surge in numbers of the corrupted beasts.

They had expected the corrupted beasts to appear after the beast tide, especially the corrupted beasts which had fled during the battle.

It was time for their return, but the number surprised them.

It made them think: what if all the corrupted beasts had joined during the battle? Then the battle during the beast tide would have extended for a couple more days.

On the other hand, the news swept across the city. Instead of panicking, the beast-taming forces were happy.

A higher number of corrupted beasts meant they could earn more money. They had not earned much in the past couple of days. This news came as golden news for them.

Especially the small and medium-sized forces sighed in relief. Even the local and small-time beast tamers desired to do missions in the areas close to the city gate.

....

Governor's Office

Governors Martin, Leon, and Orion were in the office. They were watching the news as well.

The governors were surprised by the sudden appearance of this many corrupted beasts in the inner area.

Leon and Orion found it perfectly normal. They believed it was time for the surviving corrupted beasts to return.

But Martin was skeptical. They still didn't know what had caused the previous beast tide. All they had were assumptions.

The two Lords from the Human Alliance had already warned them about something abnormal regarding the situation, but they hadn't found any evidence for it.

Orion and Leon turned towards Martin.

Orion said, "You are overthinking again."

"It's time for those beasts to come back," Leon added.

Hearing that, Martin let out a sigh. He didn't want them to be worried unnecessarily.

"Okay," Martin replied.

But in the back of his mind, he decided to investigate further.
