Almost everyone saw the towering creature at the border. The head was so massive that it sent chills down everyone’s spine.

Jeremy Night, who had been fighting against the corrupted beasts, noticed the sudden change as well. The beasts shivered for no reason.

Taking advantage of the opportunity, he slashed down at the beast. The blade moved fast before cutting through the neck of the creature.

Blood spurted from the wound. The next second, the beast collapsed onto the ground. Jeremy then raised his head and looked at his surroundings.

When his gaze fell on the sky, he saw the massive beast. The head itself was over 20 feet in size.

Jeremy was stunned. The next second, he felt an unknown fear. If he continued to stare at the beast, he might be affected.

Buzz!

The next second, his own unknown beast reacted all of a sudden. It shook a little bit, protecting its beast tamer from the external influence.

Suddenly, Jeremy Night felt a cold energy enter his mind. The next second, he recovered his thoughts and felt control return to his body.

Jeremy was stunned. Then he realized it must be because of the unknown beast egg. His lifeline beast had saved him.

He didn’t stay there any longer; he vacated the area. He wanted to stay far away from the influence of the giant beast.

If his assumption was not wrong, then the massive creature was a Tier-9 Beast. It could attack the city at any time.

The coercion from a Tier-9 beast could directly kill any corrupted beasts below Tier-8.

Swoosh!

He quickly left the inner area and arrived at the zone closer to the city gate. The small area in the surroundings had a few little green patches.

He found a tall tree and stood on one of its branches. Calming his heart, he continued to look toward the border.

He knew that the battle was going to end soon because it was a fight between the Tier-9 Beast and the Lord.

But he didn’t know whether the Lord was currently in the city or not. Seeing that the Tier-9 Beast didn’t cross the border, he suspected the beast was being stopped by someone or something.

Jeremy Night then saw a green, plant-type beast. The plant-type beast was toweringly tall, dragging the enemy beast into the Unexplored region.

Jeremy Night used his eye power. Thanks to it, he was able to witness the fight.

Now, his whole body relaxed. Since the Lord was here, the fight would definitely come to an end. He eased up and started using his breathing method.

The natural energy entered his body and flowed smoothly inside him. He could feel his hidden, minor injuries healing at a rapid rate.

He felt refreshed. Then, he took out his blade and looked at it. The blade had no damage. He unsheathed the blade, then stood with his arms crossed.

Time passed

Governor Martin and Orion were dealing with the higher-tier beasts. The other Tier-8 Heads were doing their best.

They knew the Lord was fighting against the Tier-9 Black Centipede, but they didn’t know whether she could manage the beast alone.

Boom!

The Tier-9 Black Centipede used its ability.

Its sharp, thousand legs stabbed into the plant-type beast. The plant beast felt the pain and removed the roots wrapping around the long body of the centipede.

The Tier-9 Black Centipede was able to break free from the plant-type beast. The towering plant beast fell sideways to the ground.

The shockwave spread across the area.

The old lady with the healing ability received a backlash. The next second, she felt a searing pain.

She didn’t expect the Tier-9 Black Centipede to use its long, sharp legs to attack like that.

The Tier-9 Black Centipede then moved its body away. Its thousand legs moved instantly as the long beast swiftly escaped from the place.

In the blink of an eye, the beast entered the unexplored region, going deeper into the territory.

There were other Tier-8 and Tier-9 beasts in that place; no one dared to come to this area.

Meanwhile

The old lady with the healing ability recovered her energy. She then noticed the disappearance of the Tier-9 Beast.

After noticing that, she recalled her lifeline beast. The plant-type lifeline beast disappeared from the spot.

Because the old lady possessed a healing ability, she cured her own hidden injuries. She then continued to stare at the unexplored region.

She knew the beast had gone; it had gone back into hiding. She didn’t want to chase the beast and enter an even more dangerous area.

She could not deal with such a dangerous beast alone. Although her plant-type lifeline beast was a Tier-9 Beast, it had limited strength.

On the other hand, the Tier-9 Black Centipede was a poison-type beast with tremendous energy and strength.

She could not handle it alone, so she decided to wait for the other lords to arrive. She then noticed that the Governors and the other Tier-8 Beast Tamers were still dealing with the remaining beasts.

The next second, she released her lifeline beast again. The towering plant-type beast landed heavily on the ground. She ordered her beast to help the beast tamers.

Several roots shot toward the corrupted beasts. The bodies of the Tier-8 and Tier-7 corrupted beasts were pierced through.

Their bodies were riddled with holes, and a torrent of blood gushed forth. The beasts fell dead to the ground.

On the other hand, the lower-tier beasts exploded into pieces one after another. The lower-tier beasts couldn’t withstand the sheer coercion.

They died instantly. It didn’t take long for the plant beast to kill every single corrupted beast. All of them were now dead.

The old lady with the healing ability took back her lifeline beast once more.

Her gaze then fell upon the wilderness. She scanned the whole place and found that the battlefield had been completely cleared. There were no other corrupted beasts left.

But she didn’t leave. She knew the blood of the higher-tier corrupted beasts would draw attention from the monsters lurking deep within the unexplored region.

Then, history would repeat itself, and she didn’t want that to happen.

Governor Martin, Orion, and the others sighed in relief. Thanks to the Lord, all the corrupted beasts in the wilderness had been eliminated.
