Chapter 861: Tier-9 Beast makes its appearance

Jeremy Night then found the next target. He saw Tier-5 beasts besieging the Beast Tamer group.

The next second, he rushed to the spot. They were Tier-5 Beast Tamers. He unsheathed his blade and slashed at the corrupted beasts.

The blade came in a flash before striking the neck of the beast. The four-legged beast had its neck almost severed.

A torrent of blood gushed forth from the wound. The four-legged beast fell down to the ground.

The Beast Tamers were awestruck.

At the same time, Jeremy shifted his weight. He appeared next to the corrupted beasts and started attacking them.

The blade cut through their bodies one after another. The injured, corrupted beasts dropped to the ground.

All of them had gruesome blade injuries on their bodies. The Beast Tamer group was scared. They saw that the strength of the young man was that of a Tier-3 Beast Tamer.

Yet he was able to kill the Tier-5 corrupted beasts. They were shocked because they noticed the young man was only using blade skills.

The blade didn’t have any special power. The team leader saw that the young man landed precise strikes at the beasts every time.

Because of it, the beasts were unable to control the bleeding. They collapsed onto the ground.

Jeremy Night wiped out the group of beasts. His gaze then fell on the Beast Taming group. They stood dumbfounded.

"Okay, seniors. I’m leaving the place," Jeremy Night said, and then he left the area.

He was going to find another group to help. When he was gone from the place, the Beast Tamers recovered their thoughts.

The Team Leader said, "Let’s go. We need to go to the outer area."

He was afraid that more corrupted beasts might come to the place. They were injured and needed a safe place to recover.

The Beast Tamer group left the area. They forgot about the young man who had helped them. The whole battlefield was chaotic.

They could hear the terrific sounds from the fighting. Though it was happening at the core area, the sound reached them.

Even the people inside the city could hear the loud noise.

The Tier-9 Black Centipede moved its massive body. It tried to sense the wilderness. It could tell that the number of corrupted beasts had come down.

The Beast Tamers had casualties as well. But it didn’t sense the appearance of the Tier-9 Powerhouses.

The Tier-9 Beast was contemplating. It had been given orders to trouble the city. So far, the attack was going well. It decided to cause a few more troubles.

The Tier-9 Black Centipede moved its body and started moving towards the border.

At the same time, the old lady with the healing ability was still standing at the gathering point.

She was standing on top of one of the branches. Suddenly, she opened her eyes. She felt the presence of the Tier-9 Beast.

She didn’t know which Tier-9 Beast was moving. She was going to wait until the beast arrived here.

It didn’t take long for her to see the massive body of the beast. She saw a massive head followed by a long body with thousands of legs.

The old lady recognized the beast. Her eyes flashed with a glint. She didn’t expect it would be this beast.

Now she understood where the venom came from. It was the poisonous attack of the centipede beast.

She waited further. Not long after, the Black Centipede made an appearance at the gathering point.

The other higher-tier beasts were frantically fleeing to the border. They crossed the border and fled in random directions.

The Tier-9 Black Centipede tried to move towards the border. The old lady with the healing ability acted.

A massive plant-type beast appeared before the beast.

A shockwave spread across the place. Roots emerged from the ground. They shot towards the Black Centipede.

The massive roots tried to wrap around the Black Centipede.

A booming sound occurred. The Black Centipede was caught off guard. It didn’t expect a human powerhouse to be waiting here.

It was totally clueless. The Black Centipede tried to attack. It opened its mouth wide. The next moment, it started shooting out black spikes.

The black spikes were nothing but venom spikes. They tried to reach the massive plant beast, which stood at a towering height.

Boom!

The plant beast released its coercion and deflected all of the attacks. None of the black spikes reached the plant beast.

They fell down to the ground. On the other hand, the remaining black spikes landed on the terrain.

A few of the black spikes landed on the corrupted beasts. They turned into a pool of black blood the next moment.

The old lady with the healing ability stood on top of the branch. She was watching the fight, but she was also communicating mentally.

She didn’t want her lifeline beast to fight to the death. She wanted her lifeline beast to hold off against the Tier-9 Black Centipede.

If the Tier-9 Black Centipede were to enter the battlefield, it would cause a lot of death. She wanted to save the Beast Tamers fighting in the wilderness.

Governors Martin and Orion stood frozen in mid-air. Not only were they frozen, but the other Beast Tamers and their lifeline beasts were frozen as well.

Martin’s eyes flashed with anger. Orion showed a cold expression because the Tier-9 Black Centipede had killed Governor Leon.

Otherwise, Governor Leon would have been with them. But they couldn’t get near the beast. The pressure alone could kill them.

They knew the lord was fighting against the Tier-9 Beast.
