5th Zone, City A

Days passed.

Jeremy Night had been practicing blade moves. He forgot about the breathing method. He stopped thinking about it.

He knew it wasn’t easy to get those passes. So, he put his focus on improving his strength. He wanted to reach Tier-4 Rank as soon as possible.

He spent another few hours in practice, then he stopped. He went to the bathroom to take a shower.

The bath lasted for 20 minutes. Then, he walked out and changed into comfortable clothes. He felt better now because he noticed daily progress each day.

He was satisfied with his daily practice. Because of it, he didn’t have to worry about other things.

Time passed.

That evening, he came out of the building and decided to take an evening walk. There were other members who were taking an evening walk as well.

Jeremy joined them. He was walking alone. There were seniors who were walking ahead of him. He was minding his own business.

Suddenly, he heard their conversation. It immediately made his eyebrows raise.

Jeremy increased his speed to get closer. Then, he began to hear the conversation clearly. There were Beast Tamers who wanted to enter the wilderness now.

Hearing that, Jeremy Night was surprised. He had thought Beast Tamers would wait for a couple of months.

He didn’t expect them to be thinking about entering the wilderness so soon. But he knew there were no Corrupted beasts in the wilderness at this moment.

He continued to take his walk. He heard more conversations. They included interesting things about the city.

30 minutes later,

Jeremy returned to the building. He then went straight to his room. The members saw him as well.

He ignored their gazes before reaching his room. After entering the room, he shut the door and went to take a bath. 𝒻𝓇𝑒𝘦𝘸𝑒𝒷𝓃ℴ𝑣𝘦𝑙.𝒸ℴ𝘮

Governor’s Office

Governor Martin didn’t forget about the reward. He knew that the young man, Jeremy Night from the Red Moon Chamber, wanted a good breathing method.

He had promised to get two passes for them to enter the 4th zone.

After multiple phone calls, he was able to get the passes. But the passes were different. It was a temporary pass with a 2-day limit. He had wanted to get at least 5 days.

You cannot explore the 4th zone in two days. They could only explore City A; they would have to forget about other cities.

But anyways, he knew it was hard to get passes. Even with his influence, he was only able to get 2 passes.

He then collected his thoughts. Then, he made a phone call to Head Harold.

When Head Harold answered the call, Martin told the good news. Harold was taken aback. He didn’t expect Governor Martin to get the passes so soon.

After ending the call, Harold left his office. He then quickly reached the exit of the building. He took the office cab and left for the Governor’s office.

Soon, he reached the Governor’s office and met with Governor Martin to get the passes. Governor Martin advised him to be careful.

City A in the 4th Zone is a complex place. Dangers are lurking everywhere. Head Harold was a native. He had been to the 4th zone during his prime days.

He knew dangers were lurking everywhere as well.

The following day,

Jeremy woke up from sleep. He did his morning routine.

After getting ready, Jeremy Night decided to do his daily practice. But his device buzzed.

Buzz!

Jeremy Night took out the device. He saw that Head Harold was calling him. He then answered the call.

The next second, he heard the words from Head Harold. He was taken aback. He didn’t expect Head Harold to get the passes so soon.

He quickly left the room and went to meet Head Harold in his office. When he got there, he met with Head Harold.

Head Harold showed him 2 golden tickets.

"We got a 2-day pass to visit the 4th zone. So get ready, we will leave tonight," Head Harold said.

Hearing that, Jeremy Night understood. If they left now, then they could enter the 4th zone at the exact time. But if they went tomorrow, then they would be wasting a few hours.

"Okay," Jeremy Night replied.

Then, Jeremy Night went back to his room to do his preparations.

That night, both of them left the Red Moon Chamber. They didn’t tell anyone. If others learned about it, it would cause unwanted discussion.

Harold and Jeremy Night reached the airport 20 minutes later. They booked tickets to the 4th zone.

When the time for the flight came, they boarded the flight. After entering inside, they found their seats and sat down.

Jeremy Night sat in the window seat. Head Harold sat next to him. Head Harold decided to share some information with Jeremy Night.

He knew about the dangers of the 4th zone. Especially the dangers from the human side. He wanted Jeremy Night to be vigilant.

So, he started a conversation by talking about the flight journey.

"There are no direct flights to the 4th zone. There is a stopover midway. The stopover is a special base of the Human Alliance."

"The special base has Beast Taming Teams doing missions there."

Jeremy Night listened to Head Harold. When he heard about the special base and special teams, he raised his eyebrows in surprise.

"What is the special base?" he asked.

Head Harold said, "Since you are leaving for the 4th zone for the first time, from now on, you will hear about special bases and special teams."

"The special base is run by the Human Alliance. It’s a base to handle incidents related to corrupted beasts."

"The top 3 zones face numerous threats from the corrupted beasts. In order to reduce the pressure on the City Governors, the Human Alliance has created special bases for the special teams," Harold said.

Hearing that, Jeremy Night’s eyes flashed with understanding. He knew that the top three zones were different. The dangers that existed there must be serious.

He decided to learn more from Head Harold.
