That night, Jeremy Night reached the lone cliff. After several twists and turns, he was able to reach the place. He used his eye power and began to scan the area.

He knew about the bone flower from the mission descriptions. So, he searched the area. Then, he saw a crevice beneath the cliff.

The crevice was not that big, but it was enough for a person to go inside. He raised his eyebrows. He knew the higher beasts roamed around the place.

If the bone flowers had grown outside, they must have been long since eaten by the beasts. The only safe place was the crevice. He decided to check the crevice.

He then unsheathed the blade and went there. He saw it was completely dark inside the passage. He used his second eye power. He saw no signs of a living thing.

He then walked inside and began to look for the bone flowers. There were no flowers at the entrance.

But as he went deeper inside the passage, he saw the weird flowers ahead. They filled the path. His heart stirred. The flowers looked exactly like the ones in the description.

He then began to collect the bone flowers. He didn’t collect all of them. He collected some of them and stored them inside a wooden box. Then, he put it away inside the storage ring.

He heaved a sigh of relief. This was a highly rewarding mission. Before coming here, he had thought it could be a do-or-die mission.

But the mission went smoothly. There was just one part left: he needed to make the return journey alive. This reminded him of the enemy.

He was sure that the second-year student must be after him. He didn’t know whether he would come here with a team or alone. If he came here with a team, then he would avoid them again.

After figuring things out, he was about to turn around.

Then, something happened in the mental zone. The unknown beast egg was shaking with more force. His heart skipped a beat.

"What’s going on?" he asked himself.

He was worried that something bad was happening to the unknown beast egg. If the unknown beast egg died, then he would become a cripple as well.

Just then, the unknown beast egg communicated with him. It was not a clear communication, but he understood the meaning.

The unknown beast egg wanted him to go deeper. The next second, he went deeper inside the passage. He didn’t give it a second thought.

It had become a matter of survival. Fine beads of sweat covered his forehead. The passage went deeper and deeper.

Jeremy Night was not thinking about that. He was using his eye power to go faster and avoid obstacles.

After a couple of hundred meters, the passage came to an end. But the scene in front of him was something else.

There was a huge lake in the underground of the cliff. The blue lake was filled with gold and white mist.

The unknown beast egg continued to throb. This time, he could feel the meaning. The unknown beast egg was excited.

"Okay, I will enter the lake. You can enjoy the treasure," Jeremy said with a smile.

He was looking for resources. He had thought it would take a couple of missions before he could buy anything.

Fortunately, he was able to find such a treasure here.

He then removed his clothes before entering inside the lake. The lake was quite deep; it reached his neck.

He went to the middle and stood there.

He did nothing, but the unknown beast egg immediately began to absorb the treasure water. The lake water was stirred. Then, it began to enter his body.

Inside the mental zone, the treasure water landed on the unknown beast egg. The unknown beast egg absorbed the water. It had become still now.

Jeremy Night was stunned. He could feel the craving from the unknown beast egg, as if it was getting something of its own back.

He felt absurd, but this was the first time he was feeling something like this. He then closed his eyes and let things continue.

Jeremy Night felt a great jolt. He didn’t expect the breakthrough to come this easily. The next wave followed as he received the feedback energy from the unknown beast egg.

When the feedback energy entered his body, he felt the power of the feedback energy was greater and purer. The next second, he felt a huge craving from every single cell of his body.

His body absorbed the feedback energy. In the blink of an eye, his Physique reached the limit. The next second, it broke the limit as well.

The unknown beast egg didn’t stop. It continued with the absorption. The lake had plenty of treasure water.

Jeremy Night was terrified in his heart. This time, it was because of the joy. He had encountered a powerful treasure this time, one that could provide multiple breakthroughs.

Time passed.

The unknown beast egg reached the mid stage. It didn’t take long for the beast to break the limit and reach the peak stage.

Jeremy Night received the feedback and broke through simultaneously.

It was breaking the limit like drinking a glass of water. Jeremy Night could feel a monstrous strength in his body.

He could tell the starlight power in the mental zone had undergone a change as well.
