When Beast Emperor Hall was at the height of its power, there weren’t any cities in the ten thousand mile radius of it.

It was because people were afraid and didn’t want to stay near it, they did. But since it was powerful, whether people feared or respected it, they had to ask its permission if they wanted to establish a town or city nearby.

Just like other Sovereign Powers, it also liked to be alone in its territory, there were other practical reasons too of course, save for its one or two subsidiary powers like Malta City, it didn’t allow anyone to settle nearby.

But as it became weaker, several enemy powers started establishing their subsidiaries in this 1000-mile radius. They even went as far as developing several towns and cities.

Beast Emperor Hall tried to resist but it didn’t stop the enemies from doing what they wished.

And as expected, after these subsidiaries, towns and cities were established in its territory, they began causing even more problems for it.

Almost every time disciples went out, they would be targeted. So, slowly disciples stopped going out and the Elders also stopped issuing missions for outside which resulted in almost completely cutting off all the interactions of the Hall with the outside world.

This was a humiliation for the Hall. And despite having multiple Monarchs, it couldn’t do anything about it because their enemies would band together and completely destroy the Hall.

The Hall’s enemies knew this and thus they became even more unbridled and forced the Hall’s subsidiaries to leave the 1000-mile territory.

Now, they were starting to act again and this time it didn’t seem they would stop unless they took control of the Hall or destroyed it.

The Hall’s leadership could see this but they could not take any preemptive measures... this was what everyone thought until a few days ago when a Monarch emerged from the Hall and suddenly destroyed one of the subsidiaries of their enemies, taking them completely off guard.

By the time the enemies reacted, the Monarch, Sanya, had returned to the Hall.

This situation was unprecedented. The enemy coalition began communicating to decide how they should respond.

But since every party in the coalition had their own interests in their minds, they had yet to decide despite having a meeting every evening.

In a hall, a middle-aged man dressed in a cozy, beast-furred robe, was sitting on the head seat with a glass of wine in his head, slowly sipping.

Above the seats in front of him, projections of five people were hovering in place. Three of them were men while the two were women. But there was one thing worthy of note that all of them were Monarchs, just like the man in the head seat, leaders of their respective powers.

Currently, they were arguing among themselves. Some wanted to attack the Beast Emperor Hall or at least destroy subsidiaries of the Hall while others were against it, not wanting to rush their operation since they weren’t ready at the moment.

After a long back and forth, they turned to the man in the head seat and seeing how he was watching them while sipping the wine leisurely, they fumed because they felt as if they were jokers who had been putting on a play for him to enjoy.

"Monarch Xuno, are you not going to give your opinion?" one of the two female monarchs, who looked to be in her mid-thirties and had a wild, unrestrained kind of charm to her, asked while showing her fangs.

She was called Madam RedWolf, a renowned Mid-Stage Monarch and matriarch of the infamous RedWolf family.

Monarch Xuno’s lips curled up, "Of course, I will. I was just waiting for you guys to finish arguing."

"Heh, you cunning little punk. Don’t you dare look down on me." Madam RedWolf growled. Others also showed displeased looks.

Monarch Xuno shook his head and said, "Let’s focus on the topic. I’m of the same opinion as I had been in the past few days, we shouldn’t be hasty, but we can’t do nothing. So, let’s destroy Malta City."

"Good boy." Madam RedWolf grunted in satisfaction. One of the three male monarchs also nodded in agreement, but the others frowned. They weren’t of the same opinion.

Knowing their discussion today was going to result in nothing like the past few days, Monarch Xuno looked at the other female Monarch and said, "Lady Bassel, I’m now sixty percent sure Malta City has one of the Keys."

Lady Bassel knitted her brows in contemplation. The two male monarchs’ eyes narrowed. If she gave in to temptation, Monarch Xuno’s side would have four votes and they would have no choice but to attack the Hall, however, they knew better than to try to sway her since nothing they said would change what she wanted.

As everyone waited, Lady Bassel looked at Monarch Xuno and said, "Good. We’ll find them when we attack the Hall... once we are ready."

Monarch Xuno’s and Madam RedWolf’s hopeful expressions crumbled.

"You cowardly woman–" Madam RedWolf was about to go on a swearing spree when suddenly Monarch Xuno frowned.

"What happened?" Lady Bassel asked and others paid attention.

Monarch Xuno looked at them one by one before fixing his gaze on Lady Bessel and the other two who were against retaliating and calmly said, "Beast Emperor Hall has attacked one of my branch families."

Saying this, he slowly stood up.

"Monarch Xuno... don’t be impulsive." Lady Bassel warned.

"What kind of impotent leader would I be if I don’t do anything when my family is under attack?" Monarch Xuno said and waved his hand, shattering the projections.

Then he took a step and vanished from the hall.

Outside, several Emperors were already rushing toward the teleportation formation connected to the branch family under attack.

BOOM!

BANG!

"Noo–!"

Xuno Family Branch’s estate was an apocalyptic hell as countless powerful and destructive magic spells rained down upon it.

"Leave none alive." Elder Milo growled and released an AOE Thunder Spell, destroying a large section of estate and killing several hundred people, including several Kings and three Early Stage Emperors.

Other Emperors with him also went all out, casting one destructive spell after another while two Peak Emperors maintained the barrier around the estate, making sure none escaped.

Suddenly, all of the attackers felt chills run down their spine.

’He is here.’ Elder Milo breathed in.
