Every Emperor of the Beast Emperor Hall stopped, not like they could kill or destroy anything or anyone anymore since every last soul was snuffed out and the previously bustling estate was nothing but ruins.

They held their breaths, their hearts palpitating in fear.

The sensation of imminent death told them a Monarch was coming, and he was angry. They knew when a Monarch was angry and wanted to kill someone, unless you also had a Monarch or someone stronger to keep you safe, you would die ten thousand out of ten thousand times.

Fortunately, though, they had a Monarch with them.

All of them glanced up at the sky and relaxed a little.

A moment later, the space above the Xuno Estate rippled and Monarch Xuno’s figure materialized there.

He swept his gaze across the estate, then looked at the Emperors who stared back at him defiantly despite their uneasiness.

"Die!" He simply said and his aura flared out.

Shua!

Everyone froze in place, and the sensation of imminent death increased infinitely. Some of the weaker Emperors even began to tremble and wanted to shout for their Monarch to quickly save them. Some even thought that they had been abandoned and began regretting their decision to come on this mission.

Right then, another powerful aura swept down from the sky and countered Monarch Xuno’s aura.

Monarch Xuno didn’t look up and instead raised his hand, wanting to kill all the Emperors to avenge his people before dealing with the Monarch.

However, before he could do it... the Emperors took out a jade plate and shattered it.

Immediately, they were covered in powerful spatial energy.

The Emperors sighed in relief. Before coming here, they were given these teleportation jade plates. Shattering them could allow them to return to the Beast Emperor Hall.

The reason emperors had become nervous just now was because Monarch Xuno’s aura had frozen them, so they couldn’t take out the jade plates, or those. who had it on their person, couldn’t shatter them.

If their monarch had a change of mind and decided against clashing with Monrach Xuno, they wouldn’t have countered his aura which unfroze them and instead, they would have directly left. In that case, all of them would have been slaughtered.

Elder Milo glanced up at the sky and saw the beautiful figure in blood red robes hovering there, her expression calm without any ripple. His eyes flickered with surprise and a hint of astonishment as he thought, ’Has Elder Bloodflower become stronger?’

Right after he had this thought, he noticed Monarch Xuno’s expression turned dark and he attempted to disrupt the teleportation, but another powerful pulse of aura protected them and the next moment... they disappeared from the Xuno Branch Family Estate.

After everyone disappeared, Monarch Xuno’s figure flashed and he appeared higher in the sky, on the same level as Sanya, who was standing there, looking at him with a brilliant smile on her face.

"I hope you have been well, Patriarch Xuno." She greeted him.

"I have been better." Monarch Xuno answered, then he asked, "Is Beast Emperor Hall prepared to face the repercussions of your actions?"

"Why don’t you try guessing? I’m sure you can make a solid guess based on your dear friend Dogheart’s information, no?" Sanya curled her lips.

Monarch Xuno shook his head, "It’s been a long while since he stopped providing us with any useful information."

Sanya’s eyes flashed and she murmured, "What’s going on in his doghead? Don’t tell me he thinks he can take control of the Hall without your lot’s help? Or... has he found another partner?" she asked the last part while looking at Monarch Xuno.

Monarch Xuno’s expression didn’t even ripple as he shook his head again, "I don’t know, but I’m sure we’ll find out the answer soon enough."

If there was anyone watching them, after seeing how civil their communication was, they would surely think these two were friends, not mortal enemies filled with dense murderous intent for each other.

Sanya furrowed her brows. This response told her Grimheart and they too, were going to reveal their fangs soon enough.

Her expression slowly hardened. The situation was becoming more and more perilous.

A moment later, she looked him in the eyes and coldly asked, "Are you going to attack now? If not, I’ll leave. I don’t have time to waste."

Monarch Xuno’s eyes flickered as though he was trying to restrain himself and said, "Get lost."

"Heh. How cowardly!" Sanya smirked in mockery. Then she took out the jade talisman, shattered it while staring at him and disappeared from the place.

Just a moment later...

Swoosh! Swoosh! Swoosh!

Several people appeared in the sky around the estate. They were Emperors of the Xuno family who came to fight alongside Monarch Xuno.

Monarch Xuno looked at them, feeling extremely frustrated and angry inside.

He was a really prideful person. He wouldn’t tolerate any kind of insult towards him. If the person who insulted him was stronger than him, instead of biding his time to take revenge, he would think of possible ways to make them pay, no matter what price he had to pay.

For example, not many were aware of this, but unlike the other five factions, the Xuno family hadn’t targeted the Beast Emperor Hall because it coveted its treasures, territory or inheritance. It targeted the Hall and joined the coalition because 1700 years ago, when he had yet to ascend and become the Monarch, he had gone to the Hall after finding out that there were still Monarchs holding the fort.

He had gone there to ask for guidance on how to break through. However, he wasn’t even allowed to enter the Beast Emperor Hall, let alone meet the Monarchs. What more, some Elders had mocked him, saying he had overestimated his worth by trying to meet them to ask for guidance.

This humiliation filled him with so much anger that he swore he would destroy the Hall.

A place where he wasn’t allowed in despite showing needed respect and was insulted instead need not exist in this world - this was his thought.

This was why, when he eventually broke through and became a Monarch, he led the Xuno family and joined the coalition of factions targeting the Hall. He also poured all his resources into his family to groom more emperors and possibly more Monarchs so he could deal more damage to the Hall and eventually destroy it.

Now, for such a prideful person to endure the mockery of the enemy who just destroyed a part of his family, his blood was extremely painful.

But he had done it.

Why?

Simply because if he hadn’t, Sanya would have stayed and when these Emperors arrived, given her blood thirsty nature, even as the cost of getting seriously injured by him, she would have killed several of them and this wasn’t something he wanted to see happen, at least not before it was time for the Hall to be destroyed.

The Emperors had already noticed that the branch family was completely eradicated and they were seething with rage but no one dared to even breathe loudly, let alone make any noise to show it because they could see their family Lord, despite looking calm, was really angry.

After a few moments, an old man—who Max would have recognised as the guardian of the young King Mage he had met with Esme in the restaurant in Malta City—uncle Yagui, took a deep breath and stepped forward.

"My Lord..." As the Emperors and Monarch Xuno looked at him, he knelt on one knee in front of Monarch Xuno, his expression void of any expression.
