"We have a service you might want to try," said the monkey-like person slyly.

"I don’t need it," said Tang Zhong.

Such a boring thing.

"Come on, I see you’re full of youthful energy. How could you not be interested in something like that?" The monkey-like person blocked Tang Zhong.

He even reached out to grab Tang Zhong.

Tang Zhong saw the hand and quickly stepped back, "What are you doing?"

The monkey-like person laughed and stepped back, "N-nothing."

Tang Zhong didn’t bother with him, thinking he was crazy, then said to Ling Xing, "Let’s go."

But at this moment, Ling Xing bypassed Tang Zhong and looked at the monkey-like person, "Where are you performing tonight? We’ll come to see."

The monkey-like person immediately laughed, "You want to see? Sure, we’re performing in the west of the city. Young lady, we have many strong men here, I’m sure there’ll be someone you like."

"Okay," Ling Xing said with a smile.

Now Tang Zhong looked at the scene, completely at a loss for words. He hadn’t realized before that Ling Xing liked this kind of thing; she actually liked strong men.

Awkward.

The monkey-like person soon left.

Tang Zhong approached Ling Xing and said, "We are looking for a dragon. Why do you want to see the circus?"

"No, I’m not going for the circus. That person has an aura on him that seems to have been in contact with a dragon," Ling Xing told Tang Zhong, looking at the monkey-like person.

Upon hearing this, Tang Zhong understood. Just a moment ago, he actually thought Ling Xing was looking for strong men.

After all, Ling Xing had been locked up for such a long time. Since there’s a dragon, it would certainly pique some interest; it seemed he overthought things.

But what puzzled Tang Zhong was how someone from a circus could have contact with a dragon.

However, Ling Xing seemed knowledgeable, so he’d see what she had to say.

Thinking about this, Tang Zhong didn’t speak. Instead, he found a place to stay in the City of Sand.

Since it’s a trade city, merchants from other cities would consider staying here, so there are many inns here.

Tang Zhong randomly picked one, then waited for nightfall for the circus performance to start.

It’s not that they wanted to wait here, but they were afraid of alerting the enemy.

Now in the room, Tang Zhong was lying down sleeping, while Ling Xing was cultivating.

The injuries she had previously sustained had not fully healed and still needed time to recover.

Finally, night fell.

The two of them came to their senses and prepared to leave for the circus.

As they left the inn, they discovered that on the roads of the City of Sand, people were heading in one direction, and they were all men. It didn’t take much to guess what was happening. They weren’t sure where the circus was, but now that people were leading the way, it made it easier.

Sure enough, there was a huge building on the city’s edge.

This was the crowd’s destination.

The City of Sand is a trade city, where tradespeople operate, so it’s usually very quiet here, as the lack of noise means fewer opportunities for trouble.

The entire City of Sand was indeed very quiet.

But this huge building was an exception.

Flames shot into the sky.

This building had three floors, with a balcony on top.

Right now, there were many scantily clad women on the balcony, swaying their bodies.

The men below were engrossed, licking their lips and eager to enter the circus.

"The circus, only thirty sand coins... Besides beast performances, there are beautiful and alluring adult shows," said a clown-like person at the entrance, using a very enticing tone.

Many people came forward, bought tickets, and entered.

Tang Zhong and Ling Xing watched the scene unfold from the crowd.

There were only men here, not a single woman, making Ling Xing incredibly conspicuous.

"I think you now need a disguise," Tang Zhong suggested.

"Why?" Ling Xing asked.

"Because this place operates the way it does, it’s full of men..." Tang Zhong said.

"What? Women can’t come in?" Ling Xing said.

"Uh... doesn’t it seem out of place?" Tang Zhong said.

"Not at all, stop blabbering, just come with me," Ling Xing said.

Likewise, Ling Xing was enveloped by the surrounding gazes.

The men present pointed at Ling Xing, with some carrying strong lewd glances.

More of the people trading here were rough men, and besides local women from the City of Sand, few women ventured here, let alone to this circus.

Honestly, the circus’s true purpose was to satisfy these men’s desires.

It was common knowledge, but now a woman had appeared, and more importantly, she was beautiful, making many men’s hearts flutter.

Under the eyes of others, Tang Zhong also followed Ling Xing into the circus.

Inside, it was brightly lit.

At the front was a large stage, and on the stage was a woman spinning around a pole.

Below, men were shouting, with some having already removed their shirts, swaying as they yelled.

Around them, others were selling drinks.

Once Tang Zhong and Ling Xing entered, they quickly merged with the crowd.

Tang Zhong had no interest in the pole-dancing woman; he asked Ling Xing, "Do you sense it? Any dragon aura?"

"Don’t speak, let me check," Ling Xing said.

She closed her eyes, starting to sense her surroundings.

Soon, she opened her eyes.

"How is it? Did you find anything?" Tang Zhong pursued.

"It’s very strange," Ling Xing’s face was now filled with confusion.

"What’s going on? Is there dragon aura?" Tang Zhong asked.

"There is," Ling Xing said.

"Then what are we waiting for? Sense where the dragon is and rescue it!" Tang Zhong said, unsure when a weapon appeared in his hand.

"Don’t rush; there is dragon aura, but the surroundings are filled with dragon aura," Ling Xing said.

"It’s all dragon aura?" Tang Zhong was stunned.

What kind of joke was this? It seemed ridiculous.

But he roughly understood what she meant: there were many dragon auras around, just very weak, almost negligible.

Tang Zhong thought it over.

"The aura is weak; it’s dragon aura, but the creatures emitting this aura aren’t dragons," Ling Xing said, finally looking at Tang Zhong.

Tang Zhong looked back at her, and suddenly, it all clicked.
