"Nux, look at this."

Shadow called with a stunned gaze, not saying anything else because her mind had pretty much frozen.

Hearing her words, Nux, who was nearly having a breakdown, turned towards her. No matter his state, his wives mattered to him the most, he would come running even if he were dying, let alone having a mere breakdown.

Knowing that she had his attention, Shadow pointed at the screen in front of her. Nux followed her gaze and that’s when he saw her.

The woman every being in the Universe, even the Infinities, was trying to find, yet none succeeded.

The Seer.

"Nux Leander, you seem to be in a tough position."

The woman spoke with a light, almost playful smile on her face. Her melodious tone had this strange power to erase all the frustration and desperation her listeners were feeling.

Not just Nux, the women standing beside him were the same. They all stared at the screen in front of them with somewhat dazed looks on their faces, while all the tension in their heads was erased and exchanged with... confusion.

What was this woman doing here?

They wondered in their heads.

"She captured one of our men."

Shadow answered that question.

Right now, they had sent millions of beings into the Main Universe to launch an attack against the Infinity Armies.

The War between the Supreme World of Light and the Supreme World of Darkness was over, the differences between the four Infinities were settled, and with Zylarith as the catalyst, the four Infinities were now standing together, facing Anomaly before he became an even bigger threat.

Yes, the official War between the Anomaly and the Supreme Worlds had already started.

And the Supreme Worlds were winning, by a ridiculously huge margin.

Nux’s men stood no chance against the enemy army led by the Supreme Borns. Even when all his men had the ability to revive after being killed, the battle was still not in their favor simply because in the enemy frontlines—

There stood the four Strongest Beings in the Universe.

Yes, the Infinities were participating in the War from the beginning and they were eradicating Nux’s army with an ease that almost felt... elegant.

As for the frontlines of Nux’s Army, the place he was supposed to be—

That was empty.

Because even now, Nux wasn’t sure he could defeat the four Infinities right now and he didn’t wish to take the risk and try finding out.

The worst part?

He couldn’t even bring his army back to his Universe because he feared that if he did that—

The Infinities would follow and once they were in—

It wasn’t just his life that would be in jeopardy, his family would be at risk too. It was something Nux simply couldn’t do.

So all he could do was watch his men die in front of his eyes, watch the enemy tear apart his limbs, coil around him, preparing to choke his children to death.

This was the reason Nux was... in the state he was.

And to think... in a situation like this, this woman had captured one of his men just so she could talk to him.

"What is it that you want?"

Nux took over his puppet’s body and asked directly.

He did not have the time to play her silly games, not right now, not when his children’s lives were at risk.

"Hmm? I took the trouble to come to you even though you are so difficult to reach, and this is how you treat me?"

The Seer chuckled, amused by the situation.

Nux, however, didn’t share that amusement, not one bit.

"Why are you here, Seer?"

Nux asked again.

"Can I not have a little chat?"

Seer laughed, still playing her games. Honestly, Nux wanted to leave his puppet’s body and end the conversation, he was already on edge and the last thing he wanted was to deal with the woman he did not understand, but...

He couldn’t do it.

Too much was at stake here. He was losing on every end and if things continued like this—

Just imagining what would happen brought him to his knees.

He needed a solution, desperately.

And...

As odd as this woman may be, if there was one thing Nux knew, it was that if there was anyone who could help him right now—

It was her.

This was the reason that even when the woman was clearly playing around with him, even when she was enjoying seeing his desperation, and even when there were chances that she may not even help him or prove to be helpful even if she tried to help—

Nux had no choice but to be here.

She should know everything about him.

Nux, however, didn’t consider any of that, he just waited for her to say anything and she did.

"As I was saying, your situation seems quite bad."

She spoke, looking down, where Nux’s armies were fighting, or more accurately, being dismantled by the enemy.

"I was too arrogant, I bit more than I could chew."

Nux accepted his mistake.

He didn’t know why, but he felt this was the only way he could even hope to get this woman’s help.

"You did."

The Seer nodded.

Nux couldn’t see her eyes but he could tell she was looking at him with this quiet amusement, almost as if... she had predicted this would happen.

The worst part?

He... felt glad when he thought of that possibility.

How pathetic.

He thought inwardly, laughing at himself.

There was a time when he would even hate the thought of another being somehow predicting what he was about to do, but... to think he was now glad that was the case simply because that gave him hope that she might have a way out.

After all, even when she predicted this, this woman came to him, not to the enemy. Even if there was something she wanted from him, wouldn’t she need to offer something in return?

That was how it worked, was it not?

Not to mention...

This woman had once promised him three Gifts on her own.

She had already given him two and he would really appreciate it if the last one came just about now.

And as if she had predicted his thought process as well, the Seer chuckled—

"Don’t worry, I haven’t forgotten about the Gift I promised you."

Nux looked at her in surprise. Yes, this time, he didn’t even bother hiding his expression because, what was the point?

The woman would know it anyways.

"I told you before, you will get your gift when it’s the right time."

The Seer muttered, her words almost sounded ominous, but Nux didn’t care, he just nodded.

"Trust me."

"So what is it that you need?"

The Seer asked directly.

"How did they do it? How are the Supreme Worlds predicting my attacks?"

Nux asked.

"Hmm? You want to know that as a gift?"

"If that means I can somehow stop them, then yes." 𝓯𝓻𝒆𝙚𝒘𝓮𝙗𝓷𝒐𝓿𝙚𝒍.𝙘𝓸𝙢

Nux nodded.

"You wouldn’t be able to."

The Seer shook her head dismissively.

"Then... I want you to help me."

Nux asked directly.

"That’s a lot to ask as a gift, I promised you a gift, not a wish."

The Seer chuckled, clearly enjoying the conversation.

"I will do anything you want if you help me.

You have my word."

Nux declared, then, he paused for a moment and—

"Please, help me."

He begged.

Once again, the Seer turned silent, then, the smile on her face faded away and—

"Do not use the word please in front of me. You should know by now that I am only teasing you for my amusement since I will not receive many chances to do so in the future."

She spoke directly.

"I..."

Nux didn’t know what to say.

"I need your help."

He just repeated what he said before. His calm, playful, confident outer exterior had already broken. It was... a painful sight, especially for Nux’s women, who were hearing every word he said.

And for some reason—

Seer was the same.

The situation no longer amused her, rather,

"Nux, that is enough."

She spoke in a heavy, strict tone.

"You made a mistake, that was it. It doesn’t mean it has ended.

You should already know I came here to give you your third gift, a gift that will show you a way out of this situation you are in.

So stop acting this weak and stand your ground.

No one you care about is going to die."

She spoke directly and the instant she did, Nux’s expression changed.

Seer, however, didn’t care, she then waved her hand and a piece of ordinary paper appeared in the air, right in front of the being Nux had possessed.

"Take it."

"Is this... my third gift?"

Nux questioned with a silly look on his face.

Seer didn’t say anything, she just gestured Nux to look at it. Nux grabbed the paper and read it.

It was... space coordinates.

"What’s this?"

He asked and without any change in her expression—

"That’s where Zylarith is."
