Supreme Harem God System
Chapter 2345: Then let’s move.
"What’s this?"
Nux asked with a confused look on his face and Seer answered without any change in her tone.
"That’s where Zylarith is."
"Zylarith...?"
Nux’s frown deepened.
"What does he have to do with all this?"
He questioned out loud, more to himself than to Seer, but knowing that Seer would give him the answer much faster than him trying to connect the dots on his own, he looked at her, only to find her body already fading away.
She was leaving, or more accurately, her projection was fading.
"Hey! Wait—!"
Nux tried to stop her, however, before he could say anything anymore—
"Burn that before they see it."
She spoke and the instant she did, Nux froze.
He didn’t have to be a genius to understand who ’they’ she mentioned were.
So that’s it...
Nux nodded inwardly, his mind had started to wonder that even if the Seer wanted to give him the coordinates, why not tell them to him?
Why give him an ordinary paper that would need to be erased out of existence just to erase all its traces?
But now it made sense.
She did it so she could stop him from stopping her. She knew that the instant she told him to burn the paper, he would do it because he couldn’t risk the Infinities knowing the coordinates where he might be at.
And the worst part?
Her plan worked, because Nux stopped and he erased the paper out of existence before he broke his connection with his soldier.
The moment his consciousness returned to his own body, another being appeared in front of his soldier.
A Supreme Born.
He had sensed him from a distance.
Was it a coincidence that he came here just when Nux left?
Nux was sure it wasn’t, it was her. She must have separated the two of them from the Universe using her own way while they were talking, but now that the separation was no longer needed, things returned back to normal or from the Seer’s perspective—
Things returned to how they should be.
For the next few seconds, Nux stayed silent, almost as if he was recalling everything that happened to him in these last few years and assessing his current state of mind.
He, however, wasn’t given more time of his own as—
"Why would she give you his coordinates?"
Sharnoth questioned with a deep frown on her face.
Every time the name Zylarith was mentioned, it unsettled her. As someone who had been manipulated by him almost all her life, the last thing she wanted was to do anything related to him.
But with Seer herself pointing them in his direction...
There wasn’t much she could do other than analyse the situation as thoroughly as she could.
"Does it mean... he knows something? He probably knows what the Infinities have done that has allowed them to predict our attacks. I wouldn’t be surprised if he was the one who came up with the idea in the first place."
Sharnoth guessed.
"That doesn’t make sense."
Aeliana, however, shook her head.
"The Seer said knowing how they stopped us won’t do anything, we cannot undo what has already happened. There should be some other reason. Zylarith must know something we do not, something that... can prove to be helpful in this situation."
"If our assumption is correct, Zylarith was the one who caused all this in the first place, so it wouldn’t be wrong to think that."
Riona nodded, agreeing with Aeliana.
But...
"There might be another reason."
That was when Vyriana spoke up with a hesitant look on her face. The rest of the women turned towards her and frowned.
"What do you mean?"
Riona asked. Vyriana looked at her and answered—
"Zylarith doesn’t exactly have to know something about this particular incident, he would be helpful to us nonetheless."
The Dragon answered and Astaria’s expression changed.
"Are you saying...?"
"Yes."
Vyriana nodded again.
"Zylarith was an Infinity. If Nux devours him, he can upgrade our Universe’s Cultivation Bridge, and once that happens..."
"We would be able to become Infinities..."
Astaria completed those words.
This wasn’t a new plan, the women had come up with it long before, the only problem was that they had no way to get their hands on Zylarith.
But now they did.
"But... we only have three thousand years...
None of us would be able to become an Infinity by then."
Evane frowned.
But—
"No."
Shadow shook her head.
"We don’t just have three thousand years, we can have as many as we desire."
She muttered.
As the Goddess of the Universe, slowing down time while her sisters cultivated wasn’t impossible for her.
They couldn’t freely manipulate time to extend their children’s lives, but that restriction didn’t apply to the women. Their bodies were strong enough to handle the false flow of time without any complications.
"So you are saying... if Nux devours Zylarith, uses his memory to strengthen the Universe’s Cultivation Bridge—
Then we can cultivate while Shadow controls the Flow of Time around us, and once we break through and become Infinities—
We leave the Universe, deal with the Infinities, while Nux devours worlds for our children?"
"Nineteen versus Four, I doubt it would be a battle they would be able to win."
Ember spoke with a dangerous grin.
"Does that mean... by the end of this...
We would be stronger than Nux?"
Vyriana questioned with a playful look on her face.
Nux stared at her with a deadpan expression. To think the woman would joke around during a time like this.
But in his mind—
Even he couldn’t help but believe that it was... at some level... plausible.
Sure, they won’t be able to manipulate time endlessly, but three thousand years could easily be turned into three hundred thousand years and that...
Should be enough for the women to reach that level, or at least... that’s what Nux wanted to believe.
But the thing was—
This plan had quite a few flaws.
Becoming an Infinity wasn’t easy. If it were, there wouldn’t be just Five Infinities in the entire Universe.
Plus, even the Main Universe, a fully grown Universe, could only support five Infinities and no more—
Who was to say that his Universe would be able to support so many?
Honestly, the more he thought about it, the more questions appeared in his head, but the thing was—
He didn’t know a thing about Infinity. All the knowledge he had after devouring tens of thousands of worlds was practically useless when it came to understanding Infinity.
This was the reason he had so many questions in the first place.
What he did know, however, was that the Seer was the one who pointed him in this direction. That meant there must be something he would get out of this situation.
Who knows, once he understands what Infinity is, he himself might find a way to become one?
That was a possibility as well.
So the next step seemed obvious enough.
He needed to go see that Soul Father of his. It was about time he became useful.
But just as Nux was making up his mind—
"What if... this is a trap?"
Amaya spoke up with an uncertain look on her face.
Everyone turned towards her and the woman’s frown deepened—
"We are planning on the assumption that the Seer is on our side. How do we know that?"
She asked, then, she glanced at Nux and—
"Don’t forget, when you first met her, you found her suspicious. There is no reason to trust her blindly.
For all we know, Zylarith might not even be there, or worse, the Seer might be colluding with the Four Infinities and wants to lure Nux out using Zylarith as bait."
"If she wanted to give Nux to the Infinities, she had more than a few chances to do so..."
Lyriana spoke with a light frown.
"What if... she changed her mind right now?"
Amaya asked.
"..."
"..."
Everyone turned silent.
It wasn’t that they didn’t want to trust Seer, it was just that they were in no position to trust anyone at all, and Seer wasn’t an exception to that rule.
But the question was—
What else could they do?
This was their only way out and they knew that, so—
"Let’s send a puppet."
Nux raised his voice. The women turned towards him and he continued—
"If we move with no intent to devour a world, the Infinities cannot sense us. Zylarith shouldn’t be an exception either.
So I’ll create a puppet with an ability to hide in another dimension, move to the coordinates the Seer gave us and if we see Zylarith there and see no signs of the Infinities—
I will go there myself and trap Zylarith in my domain.
How about it?"
"Once Zylarith is in your domain, the Infinities won’t be able to find him, even if they want to. Then all you would need to do is devour him and since he is merely a Soul, there is no way he would be able to resist you."
Aeliana’s eyes shined with a strong light, liking the plan the more she thought about it. Nux nodded, he glanced at the rest of the women, then at Amaya and this time, even Amaya agreed.
"That should work."
She spoke.
"Then let’s move."
Nux nodded, not wanting to waste even a single instant anymore.
