From a short distance away, Yuan Lang watched the ape and the python hissing and roaring at each other. Although he couldn’t understand what they were saying, he could still make out the smugness in the giant python’s expression.

He curled his lip. ’If it weren’t for my poison, it would’ve taken that thing a whole lot of effort to beat the Shun Yuan Leader.’

As if it knew the Shun Yuan Leader was no longer a threat, the giant python repeatedly poked it with its tail, its hisses sounding like smug laughter.

Suddenly, an earth-shattering roar echoed from the direction the Fierce Beast Group had fled. Before Yuan Lang could get a closer look, the owner of that roar had already appeared in the valley.

It was a giant beast with a single, sharp horn on its head, which landed on its rear as if it had been sent flying by something.

The giant beast’s massive body crashed right into the Shun Yuan and the giant python. Neither of them had any time to dodge.

After coming to a stop, the giant beast didn’t even glance at the two "little" Fierce Beasts crushed beneath its rear. It kicked off with its powerful hind legs and, with a WHOOSH, was gone.

It left behind the two beasts on the ground, who had been crushed so hard by the giant beast’s huge rear that the life was nearly squeezed out of them.

The Shun Yuan’s breathing grew even fainter. Looking at the giant python, which had also been crushed out of shape, it managed to let out two more feeble roars.

He immediately took a wooden spear from the basket on his back, jumped down from the large tree, and walked toward the two Fierce Beasts.

Hearing footsteps, the two crippled Fierce Beasts struggled to lift their heads and look over.

He quickened his pace and gave it a kick. "Just now, you were chasing me so hard I wished I had six legs."

The Shun Yuan Leader let out a feeble roar and could only lie there, panting.

Although both beasts were heavily injured and looked as if they could breathe their last at any moment, the powerful aura they exuded still filled the valley, keeping weaker Fierce Beasts from approaching.

After a glance at the two beasts, Yuan Lang walked over to a large tree under their confused gazes and sat down. Then, he cut some meat from a Fierce Beast he had killed earlier. 𝗳𝚛𝗲𝕖𝕨𝕖𝗯𝚗𝚘𝕧𝕖𝗹.𝗰𝗼𝕞

He started a fire and began to roast the meat.

Just as he was about to take a bite of the fragrant roasted meat, a series of loud noises suddenly rang out. Yuan Lang frowned and looked toward the source of the sound.

The sight that met his eyes made him freeze. The heads of the Shun Yuan Leader and the giant python, which were lolling on the ground, were about to be submerged in their own drool...

The giant python shot him a look of contempt, then glanced at the Shun Yuan Leader before looking at itself with great pride.

’So what you’re saying is, the Shun Yuan and I are nothing special, and you’re the greatest one here?’

He sneered, tore off a piece of the roasted meat, and walked over to the Shun Yuan Leader. "Open your mouth."

The Shun Yuan’s eyes lit up. It let out a low growl and opened its mouth.

Yuan Lang shot a contemptuous look at the giant python and, just like that, tossed the fragrant piece of roasted meat into the Shun Yuan Leader’s mouth.
