With the heated brick bed in the bedroom finished, the rest of the furniture like tables and chairs was much simpler. That could be left to Yuan Lang; after all, when it came to mortise and tenon joinery, she was completely clueless.

As the lead builders, Teng Qian and Teng Kun were naturally sought after by many of their fellow tribe members.

Many of the young females even set their sights on the two single beastmen, hoping to become their mates and get to live in such a warm, sturdy house.

A few powerful female Beastman Warriors even extended an olive branch, wanting to make them their third or fourth mates.

On the other side, the glossy-green Scorpion Beastmen watched the Snow Tiger Tribe members lining up to see the new house, their hearts filled with shock.

They had been there the day the Beastman Warrior had rammed the wall with all his might. Judging by that warrior’s sturdy build, he definitely hadn’t been just playing around, yet the "stone" house hadn’t sustained any damage at all.

As this thought crossed their minds, a sharp glint flashed in their eyes.

They had failed to capture the little female their witch wanted and had been detained here for an entire rainy season. If they didn’t accomplish something, a grim fate would surely await them upon returning to their tribe.

"Captain, that kind of house is much better-looking than the stone houses the witch and Clan Leader of the Yan Yan Tribe live in,"

one of the Scorpion Beastmen said.

The Scorpion Beastman captain glanced at him. "Of course I know that."

He was already scheming. ’How can we learn to build houses like that? The most important thing is that stuff they use for construction... what did they call it? Bricks and tiles.’
