When he had just entered and saw the shattered gate, Adrian Desmond’s heart was fiercely clenched. Only by seeing Sienna Johnson intact did he truly relax.

Fortunately, she’s fine.

"Luckily, you’re smart enough to hide away. I was really worried you might go head-to-head with them." Adrian said, tapping her nose.

"I’m a pregnant woman now, quite precious."

"What exactly happened?" Adrian asked.

He had just gone to town, called Brandon Potter to give some instructions, and on coming back, saw Sally entangled in a brawl with a group of people.

"What else could it be? People are never satisfied, always wanting more!"

Sally picked up the things from the ground and threw them outside. The door was already distorted and wouldn’t close; it definitely needed replacing.

Sienna Johnson helped Rose Collins out, who looked a bit disoriented. Sienna asked Sally to bring a towel and wiped the injuries on her face.

"Mom, don’t be upset, it’s not a big deal." Sienna comforted her.

"She says your brother knows too, Sienna. Your brother got married, and it’s like he’s turned into someone else?" Rose Collins was saddened by the change in her son.

"... they have such dark hearts, selling fake medicine, and even want to swindle the medicinal material factory! How do they have the nerve?"

"You tell your brother that if he dares to do such a heartless thing, he shouldn’t recognize me as his mother anymore. I don’t have a son like him!"

"Mom, we can’t just listen to Ashley in this matter. When my brother comes, you ask him directly, if he’s really that lost, you can give him a stern lesson.

He always listens to you."

Rose Collins sighed and said only one thing, "Married a wife, forgot his mother, huh."

Ashley Hopper had a miscarriage, and when Sienna Johnson heard the news, she didn’t know whether to be happy or sad.

Marvin Rafael had been absent these days, and Sienna heard he was running around town trying to bail Milton Hopper out.

Upon learning this, Sienna was very disappointed with Marvin. Because between her and his wife’s family, Marvin chose his wife’s family.

"Stop sleeping; you’ll get all foggy-headed if you sleep any longer." Adrian pulled Sienna out from under the covers.

"What time is it?"

"It’s already ten o’clock."

Cloudy, foggy outside, hardly able to tell what time it is. Sienna had been exhausted and worn out these past few days, reluctant to move from bed.

"Get up and eat something."

"I have no appetite."

"No appetite, but you have to eat. If you’re not hungry, my son is."

Adrian carried her to brush her teeth and wash her face, and then carried her to the dining table, where Sienna lazily clung to Adrian and wouldn’t come down.

"Come, have some soup first."

Adrian fed her himself. She took a sip, recognized it was Adrian’s cooking, and asked, "Did you borrow the Guesthouse’s kitchen to simmer the chicken soup for me?"

"Mrs. Desmond is so smart, guessing it straight away. I’ll have you know, this chicken soup, I simmered for three hours, you have to drink a bowl at least."

"One bowl isn’t enough, I’ll have two." She laughed.

"Good performance, here, have a piece of meat."

Sienna sat on Adrian’s lap, leisurely being fed; though she initially had no appetite, she ended up eating quite a bit this way.

"Ah..."

"What’s wrong?"

"Your son kicked me again."

Sienna’s face was a bit pale; the little one kicked hard, and when he kicked painfully, Sienna couldn’t straighten her back.

"I’ll smack him!"

Adrian raised his palm, about to smack the baby in her belly, which startled Sienna. "Are you crazy?"

"That little rascal is clever; when I say I’ll hit him, he actually settles down."

Sienna looked down, and sure enough, the baby stopped moving. "This child... is also one to fear the strong and bully the weak."

"Just like you!"

Sienna glared at him, "Just like you!"

"My offspring, naturally like me."

Sienna gently stroked her belly and suddenly said, "Adrian, what if your son gets married in the future, won’t forget his mother, will he?"

Ashley Hopper hitting Rose Collins still left Sienna cold.

"I’m here, what are you afraid of?"
