Jax’s heartbeat quickened and immediately said:

"Listen it’s not what you think."

Kalel said expressionlessly:

"I honestly wouldn’t care if Elwyn would’ve been stood up at the altar. I just don’t understand why you would involve someone else in all of this."

Jax explained frantically:

"I was concerned about the company’s reputation. They were a lot of reporters at the wedding."

"Because you invited them."

Jax opened his mouth wanting to say something but stopped when he realized that there was nothing he could say.

He indeed invited them because Kalel told him he would attend. He wanted everyone to know that he had him under his control but he never showed up.

Kalel not wanting to beat around the bush said:

"Come today you and Elwyn will no longer work for Grey Strategy or any company under Grey."

Jax swallowed hard and said:

"Kalel you can’t fire me just for that. I’m your uncle."

Kalel sneered.

"The only reason you had the job for so long is because of that. Do you think I’m blind? Do you think I’m unaware of all your scheming for my mother’s companies? Do you think that you being my father’s brother gives you the right to them? Who do you think you are? Are you the one who brought the company from the ground up?"

Jax stammered:

"K-Kalel let me explain..."

"You and Elwyn are fired. You’ll receive your termination letter tomorrow. You both have to empty your offices today."

Kalel nodded at a bodyguard and he escorted him out. Jax got into the car directed at Grey Strategy. He thought that his nephew didn’t know all his scheming. He knew all along.

Now he lost his post as president and Kalel will probably stop him from working in that business ever again.

He doesn’t even need to stop him, once the news of him getting fired spread no one will want to hire him unless they want Grey Media to go after them.

His eyes lit up when he thought of Elwyn. He is married to Drea and he can take over Hayes Estate. He feels grateful that Drea is back and his son is so in love with him.

When Jax arrived at Grey Strategy he immediately called his son into his office.

Elwyn walked to his father’s office determinedly. He is finally free from Drea and he doesn’t want to eat lunch with him any longer.

He wants to eat lunch with A-Xuan and always be with him. No matter what happens I won’t back down. Elwyn entered his father’s office and closed the door behind him.

He sat and before he could speak he dropped the bomb.

"I annulled my marriage with Drea."

Jax looked at him wide-eyed.

"I love A-Xuan, I want to marry him."

Jax banged his fist on his desk and stood up looking at him with red eyes.

He pointed at him.

"You fuckin idiot now we’re ruined!"

Elwyn frowned, even for his father his reaction is a little much.

"What do you mean?"

Jax howled:

"Kalel has fired us both. He knows I’m after his mother’s companies. At least with you married to Drea, you could’ve taken over Hayes Estate."

Elwyn looked down processing what his father had just said. He knew he’s been after Kalel’s companies and he did help him but he didn’t think he knew. No wonder he brought Drea back.

He never told his father because he knows he would’ve lost it.

"When Lex finds out that you divorced one of his sons to marry the other he’ll never let you back into his family. You did all of this when you don’t even know if A-Xuan loves you. Do you think he’ll accept you after we forced him into taking Drea’s place?"

"I’ll talk to Lex and explain it to him. I know he loves me too Father or I would’ve never dissolved our marriage."

A-Xuan watched the scene smiling. Just like he thought, Elwyn only thinks about himself first.

If he wasn’t sure that A-Xuan loved him too he would have never annulled his marriage.

When you love someone you put that person first and foremost. A-Xuan sent a text and closed his computer.

Lex was at home waiting for his son to have dinner. Hopefully, he managed to convince Kalel.

A-Xuan did assure him so he for sure will. After calling Drea to come down he sat in the living room. Drea came down and sat waiting with his father.

At first, he hated how he wasn’t able to meet Kalel but over time he was glad he didn’t. Even if Elwyn said that he would divorce him he didn’t and even his attitude is back to what it was before.

They ate lunch together every day and they always had fun and laughed. Someone who wants to divorce you doesn’t act that way.

When he thinks about how he’ll spend the rest of his life with him he feels giddy and excited.

He genuinely loves him, he only ran away because he thought that just being with him wouldn’t be enough. But now he knows it is and he loves him more than before.

Even the fact that he wants to take things slow and live apart first doesn’t bother him anymore. When the door was opened he saw Elwyn coming in, he got up and hugged him.

Elwyn hugged him back and sat on the couch facing Lex.

"Hello."

"Hello, Elwyn how are you? Did you come to see your wife?"

Elwyn sat down and said:

"I’m well thank you, I came to see the both of you."

Drea turned to look at him and asked:

"What’s wrong?"

"I annulled our marriage."

Drea looked at Elwyn wide-eyed. Lex asked incredulously:

"What did you say?"

Drea was so shocked that no words could come out of his mouth. He thought he would see how they’ve been getting along again and forget about A-Xuan.

Or maybe that’s why he could since he knew he would be done with him soon.

He asked his eyes full of tears:

"Why?"

Elwyn looked at him then Lex and announced:

"I’m in love with A-Xuan and I want to marry him."

Lex was stunned. He can’t believe that A-Xuan managed to hook both Greys. Before he could say something A-Xuan entered the living room with Kalel.

Elwyn stood up and asked with a frown:

"Kalel what are you doing here?"

He smirked:

"I was just about to ask you the same. Didn’t you divorce Drea?"

"It’s none of your business."

He looked at A-Xuan who only had eyes for Kalel. A-Xuan looked at Lex and said:

"Father I have a surprise for you."

A-Xuan turned his hand to him and a ring with an emerald diamond could be seen. Lex was so happy he had to stop himself from jumping up and down.

He hugged A-Xuan.

"Congratulation son."

He wanted to hug Kalel too but with the gaze he received he knew better. He smiled and tapped him on the shoulder.

Elwyn looked at the whole scene sadly and when A-Xuan turned his head to look at Kalel his heart broke. He was looking at him as if he was his whole world and his soulmate.

Tears unconsciously fell on his face and Drea shouted at him:

"This is what you get for divorcing me. You’re in love with him when he loves Kalel. Why would he love you when he can have someone better? Can’t you see that all he does is use people?"

Drea looked up at Lex wide-eyed after he slapped him. Because of the strength of the slap, he fell to the floor.

A-Xuan said sadly:

"Brother I don’t understand where all your animosity toward me comes from."

"You fuckin w..."

Before he could finish Lex stared daggers at him and he shut his mouth. A-Xuan smirked at him then turned his eyes at Elwyn who had his eyes on his ring.

A-Xuan inquired:

"Do you like it? Kalel chose an emerald because he knows that green is my favorite color."

Elwyn looked up at him and said with pain:

"I also know that green is your favorite color."

A-Xuan nodded and said:

"Perhaps but you don’t know me only he does."

A-Xuan looked at Kalel and smiled. Kalel held him in his embrace and gave him a quick peck on the lips.

A-Xuan smiled wider and looked at his father.

"We can’t have dinner with you today but I’ll talk to you soon, I have an offer."

Lex nodded happily escorting them out. He knew he could count on A-Xuan for his business with Grey Media.

He would have been extremely angry about Elwyn if A-Xuan wasn’t engaged to Kalel.

Even if Elwyn isn’t his son-in-law anymore it doesn’t matter. Lex got back in the house to throw Elwyn out but he was already gone.

He looked at his useless son who was still on the floor sobbing and sneered:

"You couldn’t even keep your husband for a week. Thank god I have A-Xuan."

He left without looking back.
